Crispy taco with shrimp

Worst barbacoa tacos

I wish I could give this place 0 stars, I asked for barbacoa tacos and they sent me super crispy tortillas and so little barbacoa. And the red salsa was spoiled. Never gonna order from this place again

Tres leches cake at the end of a great meal!

Amazing. We had the al pastor nachos and I, the tongue huaraches. The al pastor pork nachos were the bomb; a light layer of beans on top of the nachos along with guacamole and sour cream. The pork was succulent, the perfect combination of fat and protein. Before that we started off with complimentary nacho chips and fresh salsa. Green, red and fresh chutney salsa. My tongue huarache was on a fresh flour tortilla with tender, tender beef tongue. Had it with the green salsa. It was topped with sour cream and cheese that added just the right amount of flavor to compliment the rich tongue. We finished with a beautifully done tres leches cake. The perfect amount of sweetness after a rich meal. Would very likely come again!

Ordered food for 3 people and it went into the garbage in less than a minute after delivery. The food was TERRIBLE. Flautas were like cardboard, enchilada mole was inedible, vegetable burrito had hair in it. All 3 dishes were thrown in garbage. Called them and they wanted to send more food but made by someone else. I refused, no way I can eat that glop. They were nice enough to have seamless refund my money after I called to complain. Picture is enchilada mole which was inedible. The only reason it got a big one star is because it wouldn't post this unless I selected one of them.

Food is made to order, fast! My favorite is the porkchop platter with their green sauce! I also recommend the shrimp tacos

Carne asada burrito.

Delicious carne asada burrito and good service, will come back. Already craving another one, and it's only been four hours! Complimentary chips and salsa to start off with and huge water mugs are a plus.

Definitely hits the spot. They also make Chimichangas that are delicious. The tres leches french toast is a nice treat as well. The service is great. They deliver on time or early. Looking forward to trying other dishes.

Mixed thought, menu isn't anything impressive. Lot of stuff you'd see in your average bodega so it…read morecan be underwhelming. There are some gems though. They're pancake and French toast selection for example. They also have other items you wouldn't normally see. For example I ordered the fried pork belly, with rice, and maduros. Best thing about this place is that it's relatively cheap and affordable. So it's hard to complain. My biggest complaint is the wait time. It feels like they prioritize delivery orders over anything. Took a while for my food to come. Speaking of, the fried pork belly was pretty good. The fat was delicious. The rice was fine and the maduros disappointing. I was t a fan of how they cooked it. I also got an ice chai latte and that was good too. Overall it's a good spot to have a cheap decent meal. Whether that is breakfast or lunch if you're in the area. Definitely worth ordering if you can get it. I'd eat here again but wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

Update - Today we ordered for delivery the brunch burger and challah French toast with berries. The star of the show was definitely the French toast. Slightly overdone on the outside which provided a delightful and slight crunch and the inside had the traditional custardy texture. I believe we found a wonderful new brunch spot.

The salvaged wood interior and candlelit ambiance create this inviting space that feels both historic and lived-in. It's cozy enough for a relaxed family dinner but still feels special. We've worked our way through quite a bit of the menu over the years. The mushroom tagliatelle is rich and satisfying, the crispy chicken sandwich hits the spot, and the charred orange cauliflower couscous topped with smoked salmon is a real standout--beautifully balanced. The pan-fried okra and fried shrimp are great for sharing, and the rainbow beet salad adds a nice fresh note. I also appreciate how kid-friendly they are without dumbing anything down. My kids are happy with their chicken poppers and quesadilla while we enjoy the more adventurous stuff. The place is named after Jacques Cortelyou's famous 17th-century map of Manhattan, and somehow that history feels present without being gimmicky. It's just a really solid neighborhood spot that makes you appreciate Ditmas Park. Cortelyou Road has a lot to offer; The Castello Plan is a great option to grab a tasty bite while exploring the neighborhood. Extra point for a killer music selection the night we visited, featuring Foo Fighters, David Bowie, Queen, Dire Straits, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Simple Minds, Eric Clapton, and more! ------------------------------- [1] https://www.yelp.com/biz/ditmas-park-halloween-house-brooklyn
