We washed it down with a Maracuyo agua fresca and an horchata. This chicken was made with love! Shout out to the young cook who was grilling and cooking like a boss with no assistance! Found this place on social media and the way they hype up the chicken I decided to come give this place a try. My boyfriend and I came here to get dinner and let me say the smell once I walk in is phenomenal! Seeing the chef char those chicken I know it will be good. We order he special which come with two sides. We got salsa and rice. Then we order some hot wings and a torta. On the way home the aroma fill my car. Came home, started to eat and let me say the chicken is well seasoned and the torta was on point. The server were very friendly and able to help us with any question. Incredible food, great service. Prices are very reasonable considering that the establishment is in Pilsen, one of the world's hottest neighborhoods according to Forbes. I had been here previously but the change in management has drastically improved the overall experience. OK, so here is the scoop - there is no more loud music and the staff is friendly for a change. Maybe I just didn't order the right thing, but my experience here was not that good. I ordered the chicken breast on a pita - the chicken was really dry - it had decent flavor, but I almost choked trying to get my bites down. It came with a BIG ass salad...but no dressing? I think if they made a nice in-house dressing and just cut the chicken into some strips it would be better than what it is. Also, french fries came with the order - which are those seasoned fries - but they were really over cooked. I didn't eat any, gave them to my BF. Best part of the meal were the three salsas and the house made chips. The chips were brought to the table pipping hot...a tad greasy - but they were really good with the salsas. I would come here probably to snack on those chips and salsa.... The BF had 4 tacos (2 de lomo, 2 de carne asada), which he ate up and said they were good. They are very generous on the portion sizes. So if you are more of a quantity v. quality - this may be the place for you. 3 stars for the chips and salsas and nice people who work there. read more

I have been to this location on several occasions to pick up their deelicious char grilled chicken special. Me and my coworkers absolutely love their chicken and the grilled onions!! The package includes a whole char grilled chicken, a boatload of the best grilled onions I have ever tasted, grilled whole jalepenos, and seasoned fries. All of this comes in a aluminum tray and they pour this vinegary marinade over everything. The package also comes with tortillas, rice, beans, salad and fresh salsa made from the same grilled jalepenos.. all for about $19 and it feeds about 3 people. I have also had their carne asada tacos and chorizo con huevos and they were also pretty good, but the chicken is what keeps me coming back. read more

Not sure how this place is still open. Today, I placed an order for pickup through grubhub. It had been over 20minutes and my order had not been confirmed- so I called just to verify: No answer. I gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and sure enough I received confirmation through grubhub that my order was being processed & should be ready between 735-745. Arrive at 750. The doors are locked and they are closed. Really? Why is this establishment even on grubhub? This is not the first time that I tried to order from this place and they were closed early.
