The four stars are solely for the extremely weird yet delicious combination of sweet potato fries & blue cheese. The rest of the items are ok, nothing to rave about nor not the worst renditions. Worst aspect was in fact no items had any truffle flavor or aroma whatsoever which included the fries & egg & truffle burger. Chicken snitzhel was probably a close 2'd behind the sweet potato fries. Kind of prices for what it is imho. I was desperate because I forgot it was 2 nfl games on a Saturday so foolishly I paid damn bear $70 for 3 sandwiches & two orders of fries. Fml. I'd return but only for the sweet potato & blue cheese

Service and ambiance was standard for Fulton Market. Last time I was here it took 45 min for the burger. This time it didn't take as long, but it was equally as forgettable. The patty itself was flavorful and crispy. The bun was fresh, and so were the ingredients (Double beef patty, american cheese, lettuce, tomato, diced onion, pickles, gutenburg sauce). IMO it could have used some more sauce and something to make it stand out. It's a decent burger, but nothing special either. With the loyalist, Au Cheval, and Small Cheval in walking distance I don't think I could choose to pay for another one of these.

I love time out market! Spent the day here working. And had food brought to me from this restaurant. I got the Chicago style dog and fries, they were both really good!

The food was very good! We liked the egg and truffle burger the most. It is extra rich and greasy but I like a saucy burger. It does get messy though. The fries and other burger were good too. They have table service now at Time Out so it's not too bad. It was about a 10 minute wait for the food to get to the table.

Was pleasantly surprised by their burgers! We tried them at TimeOut Market! I love that you can order a veggie patty on any of their burgers! I ordered a veggie patty on the egg and truffle, and the rest of my party ordered goat cheese and wild mushroom, and the burger of the month (which had jalapeño and guacamole). So awesome they have burgers of the month too. Everyone loved their burger. Portion sizes are generous and the chef is incredibly friendly! Oh and their special sauce is sooo good too! The setting in TimeOut Market is fun!

Absolutely loved the goat cheese in the burger. We also had a choice to add another patty. The pork burger was good as well. We each got a burger and shared half. The rest of the menu looked delicious. Also the chef was very nice :).

Gutenburg's egg and truffle burger is second to none. Beautifully seasoned, fried egg on top of a patty with cheese, truffle oil, and sprinkled with some crispy potato sticks. The brioche bun is flavorful and very soft. Each bite explodes with flavor. It's mostly soft and gooey, but the potato sticks add in a nice crunchy contrast. Sweet Potato fries were not great. Wasn't sure about the blue cheese crumble. The sweetness of the honey with the fries in combination with the bitterness of the blue cheese felt a little rancid. Hot dog was great. Pretzel was great. Crunchy on the outside, very soft on the inside, well seasoned. It was very busy and the line was very long. Gutenburg is located in the Time Out Market, which is essentially a food court. So there's really not much in terms of ambiance unless you enjoy bumping shoulders with strangers.

The Egg and Truffle Burger at Gutenburg is a MUST try as it consists of a soft bun that's complimented with an egg that oozes out with deliciousness! Although the Time Out Market has many restaurants, Gutenburg's friendly staff and presentation really make them stand out. I will definitely be back to try their raving German Pretzel, as well as another Truffle Burger.

Brussels sprouts were a bit sweet for my liking but I enjoyed them. Vegan burger was pretty good. I'd give this place another try.

Hard to describe but you just know you're at a very important place but that doesn't take itself too seriously. There are burgers that are good, burgers that are great, and then there's Au Cheval. I went in with pretty ridiculous expectations considering this place has been called one of the best burger spots in the world...and somehow, the burger still delivered. That's rare. The patties were insanely juicy and perfectly cooked, with that beautiful crispy, caramelized edge you want from a great griddle burger. The combination of the melted cheese, creamy sauce, onions, pickles and that ridiculously buttery brioche bun was borderline unfair. Rich, messy, salty, savory and completely indulgent in the best possible way. And that bun deserves its own mention. Soft enough to absorb all that glorious burger juice without completely falling apart. The whole thing is constructed like someone actually understands what makes a burger great. Is it the best burger I've ever had? I DONT FUCKING KNOW. but I completely understand why people put Au Cheval in the conversation for best burger in America, if not the world. The hype is real. This is a fucking burger. 9.7/10

There is outdoor seating under a pergola lined with semi-private planters, while the inside features a bar, high tops, low tops, and large booths. The music was upbeat, giving the space an elevated lounge vibe that pairs really well with the upholstered booths and vintage industrial design. I ordered the Wolf Burger, which is a whopping three-patty burger. That first bite was juicy and pure bliss--a total explosion of great flavors. It was a little messy (like all burgers with an egg), but the extra liquid was perfect for balancing the density of such a meaty burger. The soft bun soaked in a lot of those juices with each bite, intensifying the flavor as I ate more. The fries were thin and on the greasier side--not my personal favorite, but they worked alright as a vehicle for the sauce. Speaking of which, the chili aioli served with the fries was fantastic. We also got the mac and cheese, which hit a great balance between rich and creamy without feeling excessively wet. The boat it came in was a bit small, making it a little messy to scoop out with the serving spoon, but it was soooo good. Overall, it is absolutely a fantastic neighborhood place for comfort food and drinks with friends in a great space!
