My daughter and I went in there today to get some lunch, we were pleasantly greeted by the cashier named Rochaun. Normally when I go in here I have good experiences but today, it was exceptional. Rochaun talked to my daughter about her first sleepover and made us feel so welcomed. She made sure my order was right and provided excellent customer service. Absolute worse experience ever. Whoever the girl was working the drive thru on August 13, 2020, at around 1 PM needs to get a grip on life and grow up. We ordered two drinks with our meal and I needed to pu them win the center console. I had about an inch to or two inches or sparkling water left in my can so I poured it out so I could put the EL Pollo drinks in the center console. Now mind you it is sparkling carbonated WATER and is is over 100 degrees out. Like it is going to evaporate in like maybe 15 minutes. She reads me the riot act saying how disgusting I was and was huffing and puffing about how she would have to go clean it up. I politely showed her the can and said, "It's water." She rudely said, "No it is not and your are polluting the earth (uh, young lady in case you had not noticed it is a drive through and no one will by walking there, it is black top, it is 100 degrees out, and it is WATER). Polluting tar blacktop with sparking water. Okkkkkkkkkk. She then said some other really snide rude comment about me personally at which point I lost my temper and said, "Yeah and your a complete ignorant dips#$%!!!" (which I was not proud of) and drove off. If it had been coke, coffee, or some other actual substantative drink, I would not have poured it out, but it was in fact sparkling water. I went today to get my birthday reward meal, my cell phone would not pick up service, but the young girl name Rashawn (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) helped me and even asked her Manager to assist with using my rewards, I got my (7.00) reward meal, they were very patient and very nice. I even noticed later that the same girl, Rashawn, helped an elderly man, she opened the exit door for him. Don't see that kind of service anymore. This is the worst El Pollo Loco in existence! It's clear that everybody who works there hates their job and they pass on that hate with terrible service. Some places should be torn down and started over and this is a prime candidate. Who ever does their ordering should be fired, seeing as how they never have anything in stock ; rice, bacon, avocado, smiles. I asked for 3 Ranches when ordering my food and 2 times when I got to the window, they charge me for my food and then give me my food with again no ranch. Must be deaf or something I've asked time times already people. Then they tell me they are out of ranch. I ask for a refund expecting cash since it was a debt card not a credit card. They tell me it will take 5-7 days to go back into my account. What the hell, oh and that they have to keep both receipts for there records. Thats against the law and this place needs to be reported and shut down. I will be contacting the corporate office about this. Whoa! What a mistake. Our first visit to Pollo Loco in Beaumont. We walked in and looked around. About 5 people eating. Business slow. Under all the tables were food, paper and garbage. We walked past the condiment table and it was littered with fresh spilled salsa, guacamole, and other foods plus food that had already hardened to the table. As we walked up towards the counter to view the items for sale we noticed 4-5 large dark stains and food on the floor. Evidentially the black stains came from spillage and then from the soles of people's shoes which means the crap on the floor had been there for some time. If Pollo Loco's customer area was that dirty, one can believe the food processing area is filthy and unhealthy also. The County Health Department should be called to have this garbage pit closed until their cleaning program is reviewed and implemented. The Manager or whoever was in charge of the place should be fired for allowing the filth and garbage to accumulate. We will YELP this eatery. There are many better places to eat than Pollo Loco's. We left and ate at QUIZNOS. Never eat at P/L...too dirty, poor management and employees untrained in how to keep their place of employment presentable read more

All I wanted was a Mexican caesar salad. I'm super picky, I dont like beans or picco salsa. This is the reason I ordered a Mexican chicken salad, it's just lettuce chicken and rice with a really yummy dressing. Somehow they gave me a chicken bowl filled with pinto beans and picco, hardly any chicken or rice. They still gave me the dressing, even though the meal they gave me obviously wasnt a salad. They also didn't give us chips and we asked for that instead of tortillas. Instead they gave us tortillas, with salsa. When my boyfriend ordered the food the guy at the drive thru didn't even know the menu and tried to say what my boyfriend ordered, double chicken avocado salad, was something else, tostada salad. That's not it either. When I got home and saw the mistake I decided I was just going to eat the chicken and pick out the beans and picco, and the rice had ROCK HARD pieces in it that literally hurt my teeth when I went to eat it. They had just opened so everything shouldve been fresh. I feel like I got a meal that someone didn't want last night. Its gross, its wrong, and I paid for it! Was craving El Pollo Loco Mexican Cobb salad for weeks now so I went through the drive-thru on my way home. My order was taken very quickly, the girl on the speaker was very nice , and my salad was ready before I even got to the window. That should have been a warning for me. I get home and can't wait to eat my salad, I was happily surprised that the girl got my salad dressing and salsa order correct. So when I open my salad, I am shocked. It almost looked liked it was already haven eaten . The lettuce was very wilted and old as if it sat in a refrigerator for to long. There was hardly any chicken which was cold, a couple bites with bacon, couldn't find any tortilla chips and my favorite part the avocado. What avocado? One measly tiny piece was all that I could find! I can't even believe I was served this crap. I would guess it was days old. This is my first review on Yelp but I knew I needed to share. Ordered a kale salad off their new menu and a chicken avocado burrito. Was not busy yet it took forever to get our food. There was a bum in the corner who kept going up to the counter and leaning over people's food to talk to the staff. Not sanitary. Once they called my name I ran up there to make sure he did not mess with my tray as he did someone else's. The salad looked like a rotten bag had been dumped in a bowl. The lettuce was slimy and inedible. I brought it back up and requested a refund. The intelligent girl behind the counter said to check the date on the lettuce! REALLY! what the hell is the date going to tell you that the bacteria on the plate won't. After leaving my friend opened her burrito and the chicken was undercooked and the avocado was brown. I should have gotten McDonalds- better quality than this crap. Beyond disappointed and terrified for those people still coming here to eat.
