This is one of the worst el pollo loco's that I have ever been too. On numerous occasions have i tried it and i can never go back, Below i will explain them in detail. At least on 5 seperate occasions it's been about 6pm(OBVIOUSLY DINNER TIME) on any random day, and they've been completely out of white meat chicken. This el pollo loco couldn't get an inventory check and vendor order done right if their lives depended on it and there was a burgler holding a gun at the register. One time we got out meals through the drive thru, and i asked them for salsa and cilantro and onions, in one of the plastic cups of cilantro was some withered gross green slime, it looked as though the cilantro had started degrading from being in the back of a fridge for a few weeks that they might shove "prepared drive thru cups" into and toss them into bags from there when your driving through. I almost vomited, if i ate it i gaurantee i would have been at the hospital getting my stomach pumped. We've had raw and unfinished cooked chicken, We've had chicken that has had 0 flavor and marinade and we've definetly had our fair share of "arguments" and "occurences" with rude and nasty employees. They had 1 amazing employee who was a hard working young man and i forget his name but he was GREAT, he would try and clean the salsa bar as much as possible and check on you if you were eating inside, and was definetly a model employee that the rest could easily have followed. Unfortunately i over heard they had him train for months to be an assistant manager, and then they just up and hired some random white haired bimbo named barbara who should really just be changing oil filters with the way she acts. Thankfully this guy left and moved to employment at the dickees barbaque. And thats another thing, the salsa bar, if this guy didn't clean it, was almost ALWAYS filthy, they rarely ever bother to get off their ass and clean it, and the same can be said for the bathroom. If there out of a salsa, or tea, they don't refill it on their own, or check, you have to go up and tell them too. I've talked to managers and even district managers and complained as thoroughly as possible to corporate, but nothing will ever change here unless they just ripped it down and started from the ground up with new everything, and i mean new EVERYTHING. But that will never happen. This place won't ever change, because no matter how bad it is, they still get their regular slump of customers to come through and make whatever profit they do. If ANYTHING, PLEASE GO TO THE ONE IN YUCAIPA, They do a MUCH better job, and are MUCH NICER AND CLEANER, and their food is prepared CORRECTLY. and they actually have WHITE MEAT CHICKEN, at 6PM. This location has a problem with counting chicken pieces. Yesterday was the last opportunity I was giving them to get an order correct and they blew it. I always order a 2 pc for my wife and a 3 pc for me. Most of the time they give me two 2 pc orders. How odd that I have never had mistakes made in my favor. I stop by this pollo loco on March 1st to buy one of those lunch box combos that they are selling. I ordered a burrito for my wife and she found multiple pieces of chicken bones inside. We almost gave our 2 year old a piece of the burrito, thank god we didn't. I tried to reach out to corporate through social media about this and all I got were crickets. I ordered the 12 piece mixed kicken chicken family meal $30. When i got home it had no breast the drumsticks were dry & had no meat on them. The sauces were not even half way full. Thought I would give a shout out to my fav El Pollo Loco! I never have any issues here. The order is always correct and food is fresh. They always give me the salsa I need. Customer service is friendly and competent. Even when they are busy they still move quickly. One of the coolest thing is I recognize the staff every time I'm in, most of them have been there for years which says a lot of about a business. Especially corporate fast food! I know things aren't perfect when it comes to fast food but I am very happy to know that Beaumont El Pollo Loco always takes good care of me. read more

We live less than a mile from this El Pollo Loco in a large senior community. We have loved this as our go to fast food lunch or dinner place. The last three orders we received through the drive through were incorrect when home. Hubby ordered Mexican Cobb Salad for me and it was definitely not that salad. I tried to eat it and threw it out. It was salty and not good. After third strike, we sadly have to abandon this place as a choice for our dining. Also I will go online and see the specials, get to the restaurant and they are not offering the specials. So disappointed. read more

The worst El Pollo Loco I have been to. The chicken was tough and overcooked and you could tell the sides had been sitting for some time. The service was so slow that during my waiting time I was able to notice the dead cockroach in the overhead lights. Flies were quite at home here...the dining room was dirty. I hate to give one star, So I will give 2. I went through the drive up, ordered a container of rice and beans and 2 packs of flour tortillas. The lady at the window was very nice, almost seemed condescending but I am sure she did not mean to come across that way. I got the 3 items I ordered. Minus the flour tortillas. There was a pkg of 2 very thin, torn corn tortillas. what the heck is this. ? The beans were kinda good, but the rice was awful! The rice had big dry chunks of some kind of chili in the center. Allergic to corn, and the rice had to be tossed. Beans were ok. Oh yes, the total price was 12 dollars and change, not worth it at all. ! I live to far to go back and complain. Employees here are the worst. They can't get an order right and they are so rude. Three times in a row I have gone through the drive through and they got my order wrong. When I call to complain they tell me that they will fix my order only if I come back right now. Which I don't because I'm already home. The last time I called I asked to speak to a manager and the lady on the phone said that she was the manager but she refused to give me her name so I just hung up. Had lunch yesterday. Shocking they don't display a "F" on the Window. I ordered the shrimp tacos The corn tortilla was wet and soggy It contained a microscope piece of avacado and maybe 1/2 teaspoon of shredded cabbage and 2 small shrimp. 6.99 for this??? This franchise should be ashamed. My partners food was also not prepared well. It was not good for the sake of time lets just say Training is severly needed here. But the hard part was eating inside. I suggest drive thru because if you see how filthy the inside of this resturant is it will certainly ruin your appetite. The manager or owners need to have a cleaning company come in and disinfect this place. The floors were so dirty and grimey it was awful. I was actually afraid to get my self salsa because the open area where the salsa was ... Was so dirty it scared me. Sad management would feel ok going home at night Knowing the condition needs so much attention. And the cook needs some serious in service or training on how to properly prepare food as well as hygiene training. Because it bothered me as I watched the cooking area while my food and partners food was coming out. My food was at the front I watched the cook take his hand and wipe the sweat from his forehead then reach down to continue his cooking preps. Scary .. Needless to say I wont be going back. Customer service was disorganized. They made duplicate orders for the guy before us.. and seemed like they were all lost as too their job assignments. I would hope management would take these reviews seriously enough to understand that substandard food preparation and building cleanliness is a serious issue. The 1st and last time ever! A few months ago, we went inside to order to go (since we didn't know what to order). When we got home, I saw that the avocado in my bowl was brown and nasty. I eventually found the end pitt inside the food too! I called right away and spoke to someone that said they would replace the bowl the next I came in.. that there would be a note in the office. We went in tonight, and was told they wouldn't honor it because it was more than a month or two. (They never told me a time limit) The rude manager with her stank face said "I can't even read this! No I won't honor this! " It's not my fault your ink fades. Maybe you should clean your restaurant, use better ink and paper, and be more careful about serving rotten food ! From the looks of these reviews, you need an overhaul from corporate!! I will never go to another el pollo loco again, that's for sure!! read more

This el pollo loco is the worst. The service is terrible, they tend to be rude 90% of the time, and with out a doubt they always get my order wrong in some way. And my wait time in the drive thru is typically 25 min plus with only 2 cars in from of me. They either don't train their staff properly or are consistently understaffed. Go to Taco Bell at least you are in and out I'm under 10. read more

I first went to this El Pollo Loco about a month ago and the food was great. The chicken thigh and drumstick were juicy and fresh. Well, apparently that was a fluke! I've been back four times since, ordering the exact same thing and every time the chicken was dry. I don't see how they are still in business.
