Shortly afterward, a manager or shift lead came out from the back and started placing fries into serving trays without washing his hands as well. I observed him touching the fries directly to keep them from falling out of the tray. At the same time, the employee preparing the wings appeared to reuse a bowl that had already been used previously, as there was still sauce residue left in it from prior use. These practices gave the impression of poor cleanliness and a lack of proper food safety standards. Employees handling food should wash their hands appropriately, and food preparation equipment should be cleaned or replaced between uses. Overall, the experience raised concerns about sanitation and health safety at this location. I decided to use caution, not order from here and walk away.

This was an extremely disappointing experience. We placed a 12-piece order at 7:16 PM and didn't receive our food until 7:58 PM. The manager on duty, Patty, was unable to clearly explain the delay and admitted they prioritized smaller orders over ours simply because it was larger--completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, we were initially given cold side dishes, which we refused. After waiting that long, hot food should be the bare minimum. Patty then assumed we wanted to cancel our order simply because we were frustrated, instead of addressing the issue or offering any form of resolution or compensation. The lack of professionalism, communication, and basic customer service was shocking. As someone with restaurant experience, this is not how customers should be treated. The situation felt disrespectful and poorly handled from start to finish. By the time we got home, the food--especially the BRC--was cold and unsatisfactory. This was a terrible experience overall, and it raises serious concerns about management at this location. Retraining is clearly needed, as this level of service is unacceptable. read more

Most expensive El Pollo Loco location I have ever been to. Their $5 combos cost over $8! They give attitude when you ask for the restroom door code. Service and attitudes of staff is terrible.
