Oh yes! I grew up here in Cali and this place will always have a special place in my heart. The original hasn't t changed, the mango habanero is the BOMB! (The Bomb! - r we still saying this!?) Before heading to Vegas, husband wanted to see if it's still the same. Sure enough but actually better! The highlight is the habanero mango chicken. We had a whole chicken half OG and the other half is the Habanero mango. We also went for the salad. So, with the Picadillo, our chicken number, plus the salad? SOLID! I highly recommend it. I ordered catering I paid around $350 for quiet of bit of food, which didn't disappoint! What did was services provided at location. I walking a bit earlier and witnessed Mayra telling another employee to make a regular salad, instead of catering size which I paid $29 for. After I went thru the bags and found that 2 of gravy sauce didn't have a LID which spilled everywhere in the bag she replace them with smaller containers instead of the same one. The Mac cheese was so spilled also replaced. I ordered a jumbo mashed potatoes and Mac cheese and all the containers were the same size which I think was extra large I just didn't feel like saying anything since I had a party to host . read more

I've come here during the lunch rush, and I still get my food super quick but it's always still so delicious! I ordered the family feast today at the drive thru, waited so long to order and when it was time to pay, the cashier told us our former d was not ready and to wait in the front parking lot. Waited for the food for 26 minutes and went home to realize the order was wrong. Customer service here does not exist. Management needs to be calibrated and restructured. Paid so much money to receive the wrong order and no apology for waiting for nearly an hour. Pathetic. read more

I've been to many El Pollo Loco locations and this one has to be by far one of the worst I've tried. Portions are half the size of most locations, the quality is not great, and there is no balance of ingredients. Quesadilla had barely any chicken, one tiny slice of avocado, and was filled with more pico than any other ingredient. Their cilantro dressing is gross and like jello but I love it from other locations. Probably won't be returning to this one. read more

This is my go-to El Pollo Loco in the High Desert area. I usually get their 10 pieces of chicken with leg and thigh. Love their flame charbroiled flavor chicken... so very delicious! It's in the marinate. Sometimes I'll order their chicken tostada which is very good, too. As for sides, spanish rice and mash potatoes are my choices. Gotta go for the flour tortilla + cilantro sauce + salsa. They do mail out coupons for special deals. Take advantage of that... depending on who you get at the drive thru window, you may get the coupon back for future usage until expiration date. That works for me! =) They used to have flan, but no more which is a bummer. I really liked their flan. They may still have their churro though, but I don't order it from them anymore. I like Costco's churro better. Staff is usually pleasant. Service is quick. Prices are average. Anyway, give them a try when you're in the area. Happy Pollo Loco'ing! read more

Went to pick up the food and the same manager (Myra) acted like she had no idea what was going on and kept it like that until I got upset and then she mysteriously remembered the whole order which was left and who she spoke to on the phone.
