Good food. My only complaint is that they never give me the hot sauce I ask for. I've gotten the wrong one on multiple occasions!

Me and my friend went here last night for some delicious mac n cheese and chicken, and it was 10:32. We pulled up to the drive thru and the worker told us the "boss man" told them to close up early, so we could buy anything. There were two other cars that also wanted food, and got nothing. They are said to close at 11 pm every night (according to google and the drive thru window), so who knows why they wouldn't serve people before 11. We went to sonic instead! read more

We were excited to have a location in Menifee but sad to say it's terrible we have tried it 5 different times. The chicken is terrible dried up & so small of pieces. The bowls have more rice then anything I will definitely not support this location anymore. I'd rather drive to Murrieta or Lake Elsinore locations so much better. Again, I went to get my family dinner and was very disappointed. I ordered our food to find out they're out of chicken breast again. I was in 3 days prior and the same thing. The male cashier said it would be 10 mins did I want to wait said, YES. I noticed they had prepared the rest of the order. After 10 mins. Beeper went off went to the counter Manager "Olga" said it would be 10 mins for the Chicken breast would be ready still monitoring the tostada still sitting on the counter. Waited another 10 mins after 20 mins went back to the counter Manager grabbed the tostada proceeded to put in the bag I said.....that makes me angry.... that you would serve me that tostada that has been sitting on the counter for 20 mins getting soggy, and you were going to give that to me like that. She didn't say anything and pushed aside and told the cook to make another one. I will give her 1 star for that. My chicken was red in the middle after all that. The staff needs more training, Manager failed to lead her staff. Inside the restaurant needs attention, Salas bar is always a mess and the cleanliness. Needless to say I won't be back to this location. I eat at the location in Temecula at least 3 times a week and never had a problem read more

The free condiment bar is what keeps me coming back:( two kinds of red salsa, cilantro, lemon slices, chopped onions, whole green peppers, avocado sauce, two kinds of red hot sauce}. Prices are somewhat on the expensive side but you get a good sized portion. I try to use a coupon. Noise from kitchen is sometimes too loud (chopping of chicken). Plenty of seating. Really deserves 0 stars this location is always out of chicken unless is chopped up for burritos or the pollo bowls, you would think they would have whats on the menu ready, they also have people waiting 5-10 mins in the drive through when orders are almost ready they should have them pay and pull out front and bring the food to them instead of making everyone wait...would not recommend the drive through if more than one car is waiting unless your looking to kill 30 minutes read more

Cashier friendly. Manager seems to be pinching pennies and you can tell by her product. Asked for more avocado salsa because the containers are never filled properly and she seemed mad at cashier for giving me more. Also I get the BRC with no C and they never put enough B in it so I end up with just an R. And unless they changed the recipe for avocado salsa I never seem to get any chunks of avocado in my salsa anymore. So whoever is running this place please know your product is suffering. read more

Came here when it first opened a few times, always something wrong when we got home. Been here a few times lately and what a difference, service and food great. This store needs to figure out what a "dinner rush" is.. Came on requesting an all white piece meal at 550pm. Not white meat available, it won't be ready for 40 minutes. Came bake at 630pm.. My husband went to pick up the El Pollo Loco meal last night. He was told that it would be a 45 minutes wait for legs and thighs. Ironically, when he picked something else out, the meal came with legs and thighs. I realize that this El Pollo Loco is new, but they should have offered us all breasts with the meal or something. The last three times I've gone to the El Pollo Loco on Haun Road in Menifee, California, they have not had what I ordered off of their menu and I've walked out. Yesterday, no crunchy tacos, the time before I ordered the avocado taco and they were out of avocados, the time before that they were out of the dressing I wanted. Three times in a row. This location is the slowest el pollo loco I've ever experienced. the drive thru lane even if there are only a few cars takes forever. One evening I decided to go inside because there were a lot of cars in the drive thru. It seems to me that they are understaffed. There were three people in front of me and it took almost a half an hour to receive my food. In fact a person who ordered after me got their food before me. read more

Always consistent good food, low calorie as compared to other fast food, I have gone to others in OC and the food it seems is dependably consistent! Not happy at all, got a 12 piece meal with flour tortillas. Drove home to find out I Got 10 pieces and corn tortillas, four of the 10 I got were as small as a McNugget with no meat. Had my daughter go back and it took them 45 min to give us the correct order because the manager forgot she was there waiting, Called and asked to speak with s manager and got hung up on after I said why I was calling. Had to make something for dinner for the kids so they could go to bed on time. Just supper poor service check your food before you leave, they don't know what there doing. This place has no experience on how to treat customers. We ordered a large meal on one occasion spending over 30 dollars and they left out the tortillas on the entire order. We called and supposedly spoke to a manager named Ricky that apologized for the mishap and wrote my name down and told me that on my next visit to mention that I had spoke with him and that I will receive a 25% discount on my next visit. Well I did just that and the employee that helped me didn't even ask my name to check it out, he just said"Ricky doesn't work here anymore", like that's my problem! I will Never eat there again! This is the worse El Pollo Loco I have ever been to. Service is terrible. Food burnt each time I go. Teenagers "working" the drive thru are more interested in laughing and talking with workmates than getting the order straight. Didn't even put napkins, forks or spoons in with order. When my order was incorrect and burnt to a crisp (which I didn't notice until I got home), I returned the next day with the receipt and burnt food and wanted a refund but the manager on duty wouldn't do it because I didn't call them immediately when I got home. I've tried it four times now thinking each time will be better but not so. Guess I'll have to drive to Peris to Juan Pollo's where the service is good and so is the food. Too bad El Pollo Loco is loosing business at this location because of bad management and the dimwit teenagers they hired as employees. Been to the new location four times now, first three trips we were in the drive thru a minimum of 15 minutes each trip with only 2-3 cars in front of us each time. We decided to pass that off as a new business working the kinks out. Missed a side twice, chocked it up to the same issue. But today topped it off. Pulled into the drive thru at 4:50 pm on a Sunday evening, first words out of the speaker " welcome to El Pollo, just so you know we are out of chicken for the next 30 minutes except for chopped chicken for salads". Uh ok, can I get an order of chicken tenders please? " We are out of those also sir". What?! Dinner hour on a Sunday at a chicken establishment and your out of chicken?! Funny In & Out across the street has never run out of burgers to my knowledge, or even fries. Miguel's across the street out of beans? Also never. Wild Buffalo Wings next door out of Buffalo Wings?
