I went in today with a group of friends and it was a horrible experience and the sad part was it was the manager who took our order. I forgot to say no pico de gallo on my chicken bowl and she rolled her eyes and walked over and told them and when I recieved it it had it on. There is much more flavor and care put into making the food here. My favorite food here is the quesadillas alongside the chicken, of course. It's refreshing to try good chicken from here, which you don't get from most other chicken fast-food restaurants. The churros are also delicious! Atmosphere - This restaurant is spotless and maintained very well. Been coming here the last 3 weeks for lunch during work...first time they did great. 2nd time they forgot a fork for my salad which was annoying because I had to wait till I got off to eat it AND I watched the guy check my order. Wasn't petty enough to leave a review until now. they forget parts of the orders, even tell you it's in the bag when it's not. I check after leaving drive thru - 100% of the time have to get back in line, every single time. If you place an online order & request a certain amt of salsas, they'll never give you tht amt. I ordered food for 3, picked it up drive thru (passed a smile at the lady, did not get one in return, ok fine didn't think much of it), 2 orders had drinks - I was given only 1, had to say I had 2 drinks. Lady gives me my drinks, the soda is outside and on top of the lid to where my hands and cupholders were soaked, my steering wheel got sticky as well and I had to stop and clean it. she put the lids on when the soda was still coming out of the machine. Things like this are inconsiderate of others, I know it gets busy but watch wht you're doing. the first round at the window, as soon as I got there I was getting dirty looks from a bigger lady in the background w/a bun, glasses + blk sweater w/crosses. looked like a mean person w/an attitude problem, I saw her bagging my food and just carelessly tossing it in the bag. she wasn't at the window the first time, she was in the back, we had 0 interaction yet she singled me out and gave me all that attitude. I get my food, go check - out of 10 pico salsas I requested for all that food, I only got 3. I get back in line, that's not enough salsa for 3 orders plus chips. This time the same bigger woman who was giving bad vibes the first time was at the window now, she knew I was there - ignored me for 5 minutes. tbh I was dreading having to interact w/her, her vibe was so negative I knew It wasn't going to be a great interaction. Then she opens the window w/the most ugliest expression on her face no friendliness whatsoever, blurts out another person's total. I politely said i just picked up an order, asked for 10 PICO salsas and only got 3. I said can I have a few more..she gives me 3 more - Again rolling her eyes + she's throwing them in the bag, then handing the bag to me in such a degrading manner as if i'm not another human she's handing it to. Keep in mind I ordered 10 picos - in the end I got 8 - thats only after trying to get this lady to give more and having to ask her 2x and still not getting the correct amount. It seemed like she was mocking me + purposely provoking and trolling, she didn't say a word, had a nasty ugly attitude the whole time w/the eye rolling. If you treat a customer like this for no reason, expect the same energy back, I left without saying thank you. If she's in any sort of managerial position here, she doesnt look or act the part, if she is I have no clue how she made it that far w/tht personality. not the only rude employee here either, I just don't go out of my way to complain but wasn't going to let this go. You clearly don't like ppl - there's other jobs that aren't Customer facing. I get some customers are rude, but I didnt deserve this treatment. This was the worst service we have ever received at an El Pollo Loco! We used a coupon for a meal for two. It was for four pieces of chicken (two drums, two thighs), two small sides, two loco salads, salsa, tortillas of choice and two churros. We chose to dine in because outside temps were over 100 and we live half an hour from town. When our number was called I had to ask for salsa, my two small salads were missing, the pkg of corn tortillas were folded in half and cracked. I asked for fresh tortillas and could we get more than just two corn tortillas for a meal meant for two people!? The kids handing out the orders had to ask the supervisor on duty if he can get fresh tortillas and if he can give me two more tortillas! Really? That is crap training! What does two more tortillas cost them that they couldn't just give them up to please a customer?! The supervisor actually told him no! Two tortillas was all I get with that meal. It wasn't a meal for one, it was for two! We have extended family that own and run several EPL and I know for a fact that it's two to three tortillas per person that the meal is meant to serve! I'm done! My hubby had to go back to ask for utensils and napkins. The store was filthy. What I thought was another young worker coming to the floor to clean the tables and sweep, was actually an associate taking their lunch break amongst the mess. If it's not one thing it's always another with this location and sadly it's the closest one to me. I went through the drive thru and placed my order. There were only 2 other cars ahead of me so it's not like it was THAT busy. I ordered the 14p family dinner and added a large mashed potato and a small coleslaw. As I'm leaving the DT I checked my order and noticed the extra side of potatoes is missing. The DT line now goes around the corner so I pull into one of the curbside spots. I try calling the store because I have my 2 little ones in the cat with me but no one answers as usual. This isn't the first time I'm missing items in my order.
