I get the app. I place an order online. I screenshoot the confirmation and text it to my husband so he can pick up the order. They can't find the order in the system, even though they had the screenshot of the order. They all stand around scratching their heads trying to decide what to do about it. Listen, this isn't a 4ct diamond ring i'm picking up. It's fast food. You could've just given the food to my husband in good faith even if the name didn't match the order. Instead, my husband is standing around FOR AN HOUR waiting to see what the big executive decision was going to be. I don't know if it's a lack of maturity and experience or stupidity. But the unwillingness to make a decision and carry out the food order and making my husband wait over an hour is absolutely absurd. If it's not one thing it's always another with this location and sadly it's the closest one to me. I went through the drive thru and placed my order. There were only 2 other cars ahead of me so it's not like it was THAT busy. I ordered the 14p family dinner and added a large mashed potato and a small coleslaw. As I'm leaving the DT I checked my order and noticed the extra side of potatoes is missing. The DT line now goes around the corner so I pull into one of the curbside spots. I try calling the store because I have my 2 little ones in the cat with me but no one answers as usual. This isn't the first time I'm missing items in my order. Placed an online order for curb side pick up. Checked in the website I was on my way and parked. Waited about 10 minutes and nobody came out. There was no line in the drive through. I walked in and noticed an order on the side and sure enough it was mine. the cashier gave me attitude because i asked for my order and Instead of handing me the bag, she threw it on the counter . I asked for utensils in my online order and those utensils were missing. I asked the cashier for some and she gave me attitude. I mean why??? We tried to get one of the workers attention multiple times and she would straight up ignore us, she was also not wearing a hairnet and her hair was very messy which is not sanitary at all. I asked specifically for a avocado burrito with no chicken. I was tired of BRC burritos and wanted something meat free with a little something extra. No problem. Got my burrito, verified they made it with no meat. They said absolutely. So I drove home. Went to bite into my burrito and got a mouthful of chicken. So mistakes happen. No biggie. We were out and about today and she was picking up lunch for herself and another family member. She made her order and ordered 2 sides of sour cream and hot salsa. I checked the bag in the drive thru and they forgot the hot salsa. So we got a couple from the young lady. I thought I saw sour cream in the bag, but not two. So we parked and I Verified she was charged for two and she was. And the second sour cream wasn't in the bag. So she put on her mask and went inside to get another sour cream. When she asked for it inside, the woman behind the counter said she gave her the one and filled it up instead of "half way" and then she rudely shoo-ed her away with her hand. I get that one small container of sour cream is not a "huge" deal but they charge 50 cents apiece for them. And for her to be charged for it, and then rudely brushed off and not get it replaced or refunded, is not an acceptable business practice. I'm personally done but she's upset that her favorite food place would treat her this badly. Even another customer was flabbergasted by this and said so. So it left a bad taste to a few mouths. Short and sweet I will never order for delivery from this pollo loco my bag was not sealed and with COVID precautions I was frightened, scared that my food was brought by postmate driver all exposed. When I called to complain about my concern the manager Maria said it was there new policy to not seal any of the food bags she was not apologetic whatsoever with me. What customer service???? Terrible service. I ordered through the website they delivered through Postmates. My food was about half the portion and completely soggy and cold. Talked to Maria the manager, she did not give a crap and had no empathy. There seems to never be order at this location. I keep coming back because when given correctly the food is good. the wait time for drive through is over 20 mins each time with only 4 cars waiting. I go to order a tostada salad and they say they have no tostada so I get just the salad. I ask for extra dressing at the window as they gave me my food and they tell me oh we don't have the cilantro dressing. I ask for a different one " oh we don't have any dressings" I ask her okay well what am I supposed to eat my salad with "um I don't know " and was just standing there staring at me offered no help. The stars here do reflect our reality at this restaurant. I am no Karen and I cheer for the hard workers everywhere. However, at this restaurant we constantly get our orders wrong. Today we ordered through uber eats because we did not want to go out in the rain. The soda was flat, flavorless, the chips and salsa were missing and the side orders were wrong. I previously wrote that I ordered $40+ worth of food from the 47th Street Palmdale Location and when I got 30 miles away I discovered that the employees did not include utensils. When you order a family meal through the drive through you would think that they would include utensils or at minimum ask if you need any in order to prompt you that no utensils are included. The result was that I was unable to eat half of the food. Then I write to the email provided by the apologetic person who suggested that I do so. The result was a canned response to the effect of ... "Dear Marc Baca, Thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding your experience at the El Pollo Loco restaurant. Please accept our apology for your overall experience at this restaurant location.  Our goal is to provide our customers with healthy, freshly prepared food and make every customer experience count! I just wrote an email to the corporation letting them know that I won't be going to this location anymore. The service has been marginal over the years, more often than not there are errors if you go through the drive thru, and there is a tendency for them to run out of chicken. The final straw is that over the last several months the chicken has no flavor anymore. It is bland and tasteless, and the next day inedible. So the food is yummy, and very well cooked. The salsa bar needs to be refilled constantly, but you have to remind them that. The bathrooms, well you have two: women and mixed. Yeah, women and mixed. Mixed bathroom has one toilet, one urinal and one sink. The toilet is cleaner than the urinal. The urinal is always flooded. The sink is very filthy. This evening we decided to order through Postmates app. We ordered the 8 piece family meal (legs and thighs) which includes the Salad, Churros, and our choice of 2 large sides. We chose the Cilantro Dressing for our salad. When our food was delivered, we sat down to a few surprises. We did not receive any Salad Dressing for our Salad, we also found that our Churros were missing, and the real pathetic surprise was the size of the Pigeons ...I mean (so called Chicken). These small Thighs and drumsticks were in my humble opinion barely enough for a toddler, much less a hungry adult!. I was so unhappy with the price we paid of $47.73 which included the drivers tip. Today when I went through the drive through, the person working the register didn't make eye contact with me even once and that's just rude. I don't know if these type of incidents are typical in the antelope valley but my drink was not entirely full and I am not sure whether an employee from Pollo loco served my drink this way and gave it to the driver. There was no tape on the drink to protect it and I honestly don't know the driver. On the delivery app, I saw the driver leave pollo loco but then it drove back here at pollo loco. So I don't know what to think. Are the employees here stingy? Is that a cultural thing here in antelope valley? Did a Pollo loco employee serve my drink this way?
