Most locations of El Pollo Loco are very good. A few sadly are not. The Chino location on Shaffer at Euclid is a good one. The one on Chino Hills Parkway in Chino Hills is excruciatingly slow. The one in Apple Valley is a good one with very nice employees. read more

I like El Pollo Loco. I have come to count on their BRC burrito. It is a great meal for a quite and tasty bite. Service at most locations is quick when going through their drive through. I like that they change up their menu often but keep items that were popular. Most of the locations I have been in are kept very nice and clean. We drove by on the way home from Vegas and went to NOT 1, NOT 2 but THREE establishments that would not permit us to use the restrooms. And we were in NEED driving from Las Vegas to Los Angeles (the I-5 stuggle is real, y'all). My friend went to the counter to politely ask if we could use the restroom after being denied at three other fast food restaurants and the cashiers were so friendly and said, "of course!". Earlier tonight I saw 2 homeless women carrying heavy belongings & I felt compassion towards them . I don't normally go up to anyone i don't know. I suggested they go to the Victorvalley rescue mission up the street because they will feed them & help them , I also said they now have a new Womens home . So the lady was thankful & I gave her a little cash that I got as a tip. I proceeded to church & after church I was hungry ! I went to this polo loco & used my $6.00 coupon , when I received the food it was an enormous amount of food ! Then I realized that they over charged me. They gladly reimbursed me 100% back & then they blessed me with the original $6.00 meal for free. God is good & helps the poor & the not so rich in this world read more

Ordered today a great amount of food. Made it very clear that we would need salsa and guac. We even waited in the parking lot for the mix chicken to be done. When the cashier came out to give us the food, I asked again if the condiments were in there she said yes. I would have checked but she tied the bags up good. So I trusted her and proceeded home. We always go to this location, as we feel it is slightly better than the one on Palmdale Road. Last night we drove into the parking lot and here is a homeless person and all of his "belongings" laying just to the left of the entrance. My wife is in a wheelchair and this homeless person was right in our way of entering. I have compassion for the homeless, but they have a place. I feel the business should ensure that I can at least enter without being bugged by these people that I feel are homeless because they want to be, jobs are plentiful right now. The chicken itself was a little dry and the small portion was too disappointing. My favorite thing about el pollo loco is the salsa bar, get as much as you want, can never go wrong with that.
