[[HIGHLIGHT]]Even when they didn't have the live mariachi band, it has always been an enjoyable environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came here about 3 years ago for my son's birthday, and he insisted on coming back here again for this year's birthday. The waiter was nice and attentive, he didn't have any issues waiting when we needed more time to decide on our order, and he was quick to correct an issue when our food arrived. We never ran out of our drinks, which is a feat in itself with how fast the kids drain theirs! The best part for me was when I showed the waiter a picture of a drink I ordered 3 years ago and the bartender was able to replicate it and tell me what it was so I could order it again. It wasn't on their menu anymore, so it was impressive that he was able to identify it from a picture. Bring back the White wine Sangria, it's delicious! Oh, I also have to mention that when they brought the ice cream out to sing happy birthday, they made sure to include an ice cream for my 5 year old so that she didn't feel left out. The item was actually supposed to be chicken suizas, but we received chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Ironically, my mom liked this first order more than the second one. The shrimp in the shrimp fajitas was seasoned very well and I liked that it was visibly seared/grilled. My mom enjoyed her chicken enchiladas. 2nd order: Shrimp fajitas, but I received fajitas with chicken, shrimp and steak. I made an attempt to eat the steak but it was dry. We ordered chicken suizas and received the actual chicken suizas, which did not have shredded chicken but blocks of chicken. My mom hated this dish and said it made her sick unfortunately. The manager was gracious in correcting the mistakes and gave us some delicious churros, so that helped. The flour tortillas seemed handmade, they were very fluffy. The salsa and chips were good. We had a movie day with our children and their spouses last Saturday and decided to go to PV's afterwards. I hadn't been in awhile, but had a pretty decent experience. We ordered quite a few items, and I cannot remember them all, but I had one of the three entrée (taco, enchilada and mini burrito). My husband had three enchiladas with beans and rice. We also ordered guacamole and Queso Oaxaca. It was over $200 worth of food and drinks, but everybody liked what they had. The only reason why it's not a five is because when we got there, there was a young girl who introduced herself as our server, she left and never returned. We hosted a retirement party for 30 people, and while the service was excellent, the overall experience was disappointing. Our server, Lean (or Leah?), was friendly, accommodating, and provided great customer service. She carefully noted all modifications, which I appreciated. I ordered steamed halibut with the sauce on the side, no rice, and a substitution of vegetables. However, my dish arrived grilled with rice instead of veggies. She apologized and promptly had it remade, which was fine, mistakes happen. But then I realized the fish wasn't even halibut.... it was swai! This is completely unacceptable. The menu clearly listed halibut, a much higher-quality fish, and instead, I was served a cheaper alternative. The difference was obvious from the shape and texture of the fillet. Unfortunately, this isn't the first disappointing experience I've had at PV's. Ever since they changed their name from Pancho Villa, the quality has noticeably declined. The restaurant has lost its credibility, and what was once a great dining spot now serves mediocre food at overpriced rates. Truly disappointing. read more

I have been there many times and was never disappointed until June 28, 2025 when we went to dinner there. The first thing I noticed was that the parking lot was almost empty. Obviously the menu has changed. The dishes sound great on paper but when you get them, they will more than likely be cold. The cheese which is normally melted will not be, the tacos will be chewy, hard and cold; and you will be very disappointed. The service was mediocre as well. What a disappointment! I will not be going there anymore and it hurts to say so because I used to like this place a lot. If anyone from the management of this restaurant is reading this review, you should really do something about the atrocity to Mexican food that this place has become. It looks good on the inside and on the outside, but what makes a restaurant is good food. They no longer have good food. read more

Now the food I'm sorry but never going again they had a buffet style the food options were very limited the enchiladas even though the worker had just brought them out the cheese inside wasn't melted sauce didn't have enough flavor, tacos were really good, beans and rice were not made fresh they were old and the nuggets and fries were old and cold. The only options for kids were nuggets fries and fruit. To top it off let's talk about how expensive the buffet was $45 for adults , $8.99 per kid and $17 for bigger kids. Sorry but never again.
