Flora was so sweet and remembered my mothers order. My mother is lactose free due to her allergies and sometimes that can be hard with restaurants but flora was very accommodating and was so patient. There soda machine was out of carbonation and she was very honest and let us know. The rest of the team worked really well to accommodate all our needs even if they messed up the order, when we took it back everyone was understanding and made it right. Beyond annoying. Had NO CHICKEN at all. Nada. No chicken available at a chicken restaurant. Could only order food that had pre cut chicken options. Also, made it very difficult to substitute beans for Mac and cheese (even with a surcharge). And then my order wasn't even correct when I finally got it. Super frustrating to not be able to order chicken at a chicken place. Plan better. Add more chicken to your flame broiler when you find yourself running low. Bad business. Only giving a 4 instead of a 5 because it took over 20 minutes in the drive-through. Took around 10 minutes sitting at the order station and after order was taken, another 10 minutes to get food at the window. There was a Now Hiring sign so probably short staffed. I normally LOVE El Pollo Loco. Not just that, but I have a few things that I order every time because I can't get enough of them. One of those things was the seasonal double queso quesadilla; to die for. However, I was sorely disappointed when I ordered it from here--in the quesadilla were pockets with whole jalapeño slices, they were missing the avacados altogether (I mean, come on! I should have gotten a refund for that alone!), each ingredient was all bunched in one place instead of spread out throughout the whole quesadilla. And the worst of all...was that I was missing half the cheese!! I was shocked that I was eating a dry double queso quesadilla. Then, we asked the employee in the drive through for medium Pico de gallo and she gave us mild salsa. I was astounded at how poorly they made my quesadilla. MISSING half the ingredients, putting huge pieces of jalepeños, not spreading anything out, etc. I will keep going to El Pollo Loco as long as I can find one within 20 miles of where I am, but I highly recommend against coming to this one. You will be diappointed, and you will get food half the quality of what it is supposed to be. read more

We visited El Pollo Loco and they were out of grilled chicken which made our 9 year old cry; I understand mistakes happen but this is a chicken establishment, I think they should be better prepared. Worst experience at an El Pollo Loco ever. It's definitely a favorite for us, but this franchise is the worst. Our chicken was beyond burnt as was everyone else's chicken in the restaurant. as we looked around we could see the black on the chicken. We did ask for new chicken, however what we got was even more burnt than the original. The only good thing was the girl was trying to be helpful. The cook was MIA and so was the manager. This store needs some TLC and quick before it's too late. The salsa bar was not stocked and the salsa we did get didn't taste like the other locations we have been too. On a side note....the restaurant was dirty, floors were wet and nasty and where they put the food together was a disaster. Do yourself a favor and don't eat here. read more

I ordered an avocado chicken salad. The avocado was completely rotten and they gave me the salad dry with no dressing and no utensils. When I asked for them, they insisted they put them in the bag, which they did not. I ended up driving back to the front door (from the drive thru) and asked inside to speak to the manager. The girl that came up just took the salad from me, and insisted that is how ALL of their avocados look and then threw cash on the counter and walked away. She shorted me $2 and wouldn't even come back to the counter to discuss it with me. We were in town and used the app to order food online. Order went through and I my card was charged. I show up to the store and they had closed early that night for maintenance or some other reason. I am a little annoyed the order was allowed to go through even though the store was closed, but the real issue is I have now called 4 times asking to get my money refunded. I have now spoken to 4 different people and no one can refund my money. It is 2 weeks later and I am still waiting for a call from a general manager that will probably never come. read more

I have been to this El Pollo 3x since moving to this area. The first 2x ... at 5:00 PM ... they had NO CHICKEN'S READY ... and the WAIT was 30-40 minutes. TODAY I arrived at 1:20 PM for a late lunch (after talking to THE MANAGER yesterday about prior visits). Drive-thru was blocked. Front doors locked w/sign "No lobby service". Signs outside said "APP service only." I WALKED to the "drive up" window... and asked ... "Are you saying I can only get chicken by ordering on your app?" The lady said "There are only 2 of us here, we are NOT open" and she slammed the window on me. "Three strikes and you're out." No more (attempted) business from us. Too many other eateries nearby ... and with COSTCO $4.99 roasted chickens only ONE MILE AWAY. (PS: We LOVE El Pollo Loco and got EXCELLENT service from those up north.) :( read more

We understand it is hard to get help but this place is pathetic. I was in my car waiting in the drive up lane. A kid comes and puts cones in front of my car and leaves. I ate quite often at the El Pollo Loco in Tempe, Arizona. The food was always fresh and tasty. I was excited to find one in St George, Utah. It was the exact opposite of the one in Arizona. The chicken was so overcooked and dry that it was like eating leather. I can see why they don't allow walk-ins, people would be wanting a refund. The chicken must have been cooked the day before. It was so overcooked that the shrunken pieces looked and tasted like plastic. I bought the whole chicken and threw away most of it. Never again. I am going back to Viva Chicken. read more

We were the only people eating in the lobby and we could only find ONE booth that wasn't covered in food that I was able to clean with a napkin and water. Then they went behind the counter and one of them had a drink with them and continued to drink it behind the counter. I didn't see a single person with gloves on. Gross. The tables were gross and no one attempted to clean them while we were there I should have walked out then but I wanted "to try" the place. The food was MEH very bland. This EPL is pretty new. The food is decent here as most EPL's are and the service is also good. If you're into teas, they have a pretty mean Black Tea in there tea dispenser. They have four different kinds but the Black Tea was the best of the four. And yes, I tried all four of them. read more

The employees looked very sloppy and did not present themselves well. My chicken quesadilla almost fell apart when I pulled it out of the package. Finally, the bathrooms were disgusting.
