The burgers were so good and the meat was very juicy. It was a little greasy, so I actually squeezed some of it out with napkins, and it was surprising how much came out of that little burger! Still, the flavor was great. The jalapeno burger sauce was so good that I already want to go back just to get that one again. The beer battered fries were excellent. They are incredibly crispy and seasoned perfectly without being too salty. The setup is quick and easy. You just walk up, order at the counter, and take a number. They bring the food out to your table fast, which I really appreciated. The vibe is also great and very laid back. I love the rustic look with the wooden booths and the canoe hanging from the ceiling. It is a very comfortable place to sit down and enjoy a quick meal. read more

This is our first time at this location but have been to several other locations many times. We were able to meet the owner, Aaron, who's awesome and so personable. He even tried to find me a Chubby's Deluxe shirt in my size! But alas, the didn't have one. The food, as always is the case at Chubby's, was awesome! Always 5 star. From the bottom of my heart, this fast food is a million times better than McDonalds, In-N-Out, Del Taco or whatever. The owners of the company could make a lot of money if they put a store right in front of every McDonalds. I love blue cheese. Their blue cheese burger is what I always get. Chubby's surprisingly makes great blue cheese. I copied the Chart House Blue Cheese recipe online and that tastes really good. I spend a good amount of money there so I guess it all works out but twice I asked to buy a drink while picking up my food and them being soooo nice, they just gave me the cup (twice). This place is so unassuming from the outside that I was blown away when we walked in. The decor and ambiance is so fun! I was really hoping that the food would be good so that we'd be back but unfortunately that was lacking. I was glad they gluten-free buns and even had a list with all their other items that were gluten-free but when we tried to but into it, it was so rubbery and so much so that both our burgers and all the toppings tried to fly out the other side. I also wasn't a fan of all the poppy seeds on it. The burger patty itself was way overdone and not juicy at all. Quite bland. It's a pity because the place is such a fun hangout to eat in. read more

I stopped by for lunch on the recommendation of a local merchant just up the road. I ordered the Utah cheeseburger with my all-time favorite hush puppies. A lot of places claim that they make good hamburgers. But the real key to making a great hamburger is the right combination of meat to lettuce to onions, tomato and bun. Cubby's is a master in combining all these key ingredients to deliver an absolutely amazing hamburger. The flavor of the juices of the ground beef combined with the crunch of the fresh lettuce and tomato were perfect. As I mentioned earlier, I love hush puppies would've never thought to have them in the southwest desert of Utah. They were absolutely fantastic. The service is great. The inside is open and inviting with lots of room and easy parking. This is definitely a bookmark in my Yelp collections. Definitely coming back the next time I'm in town. read more

My family loved the free soda self serve refills (get the pineapple crème soda!) and the pump your own sauce available in a day and age where an extra side of sauce usually is a half oz for $1. For my fellow "Zonies," we all thought that the Chubby's sauce reminded us a lot of Zipps Golden sauce, which we would buy by the gallon. We already have plans to return for lunch tomorrow after tournament games...it's going to be tough to decide to simply replicate our order from today, or try other menu items. It had a potato bun that was thin, but not too thin. It was great because there wasn't a ton of bun and it didn't overwhelm the burger. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fry sauce was delicious. The scone, which didn't seem like a scone that I've ever seen before, but it was delicious. This was a great choice for us to stop for lunch while we were stopping overnight in St. George, Utah. It's a locals favorite. Very reasonable prices and they have a great selection of hamburgers and seem to be known for their beer battered fries! The food is good but I do have 2 pet peeves 1: not including silverware with a salad in a to go/delivery order. Not sure how the expected me to eat a salad without a fork. 2: not tossing a salad. Especially when one of the ordering options for dressing was "on the side", indicating that the standard is to toss the salad. You wouldn't expect someone to toss their pasta sauce on their pasta in a styrofoam box. How are customers supposed to have evenly coated salad if they're trying to stir it in a to go box? I realize many people like it on the side but the standard for salads should always be that it's ready to eat, evenly coated with the correct amount of dressing. Not dressing on the side - that's a customization. Between those two things, I'm now stuck eating a (good) salad via hand dipping each lettuce in dressing because I have no fork and the salad isn't kitchen tossed. read more

We ordered the Reuben with beer battered fries, side of Mac n cheese, cheesesteak sandwich with regular fries. Cheesesteak was left a little too long on the griddle and was burned/dry. Reuben was excellent though. We preferred the regular fries over the beer battered fries. Mac n cheese was just ok. Didn't try any desserts tonight. All in all, we will come back.
