First time here and the food was good. The chicken was a little dry in my opinion, but it was a big piece. Flavor was good with everything we ordered...including the fries and mac n cheese. Service was nice. I do appreciate they don't ask for a tip when you order. However I thought it was a bit strange to charge 65 cents for ketchup. The first one was free and then they charge. My son and I enjoy stopping here on our St. George trips for a quiet lunch. Service is great, and restaurant is never too busy. He decided to try their hottest sauce on his sandwich, and it definitely lived up to the hype cause he couldn't take more than one bite. First time trying this place. First impression is "What a clean Sterile place" It's all white with nothing on the walls. Ok, maybe this helps to keep concentration on making Chicken. Here with my wife. I had the 2 piece with Fry's. She had the 1 piece. Picked my spice level. I tried the Hot. Pretty fast service. Chicken was crispy, Hot and really good. Obviously the spice level was at the top of the scale. They had to more levels, which would leave you burned out with no taste buds. I really enjoyed the Fries as well. Nothing earth shattering here, just good fresh chicken. When back in St George it will be on our list of places to eat. read more

This place is my absolute favorite restaurant in St. George. The chicken is delicious, the fries are crisp and the service is kind and amazing. I especially love how delicious the flavor of the spice is. I usually get my food with the "Hot" spice level, (Tried the extra hot level and almost died. No fault to them, I'm just a light weight.) and the flavor is absolutely amazing. We ordered take-out from Jay Birds. The service at the drive-through were super nice and helpful!! I only got a couple of pics since we devoured our food! My husband ordered the Mac-daddy sandwich and LOVED it and said the heat was fantastic along side the creaminess of the Mac-n-cheese! I ordered the two tenders and fries and was not only surprised by the size of the tenders (nice and big) but the crispy flavorful outside was a great match to the juicy inside! The second time it was really great and the girl listened to my order and got it perfect this time last Wednesday I went through the drive-through at about six ordered the chicken sandwich with fries, unseasoned mild chicken and I added a coleslaw and when I got home, the coleslaw was brown. The fries were seasoned and I couldn't even eat them and I called the restaurant to see what to do and no response I've called them three times this week and nobody has responded.. not good service read more

This Nashville Chicken is an assault on your senses. Spices are so tongue numbing you have no idea of taste. That's what the bird has been marinated/seasoned in....sauces are separate and really irrelevant. They are all on the side. The chicken sits on a slice of white bread that drains the grease and fat...the bread becomes hot from saturation, as does the French fries that are tossed in their firebrand seasoning too (can you visualize how appetizing this is?) Your mouth is under assault and your stomach is in retreat. The side of pickles were refreshing and welcomed. Service was speedy because the establishment was empty. Ambiance? It sits in the Mall's parking lot on a slab of concrete, maybe flowers outside on Mall grounds as spring emerges. Traffic noise cannot be avoided. It's fast food and inside is a carbon copy of every fast food joint in town. Same tables, same chairs. Water and ice tea machines. It's sterile. Nothing special. The chicken is suppose to be queen. Highly recommend getting their chicken "The Jays way" - it's a tangy spicy sauce (similar to a buffalo sauce). The wait in line requires patience but the food comes out lightning fast! Consider skipping the line and taking the drive thru. There is some seating inside but it is limited. They also have additional sitting in their outdoor courtyard with umbrella coverage. Let's start with the lemonade - it's so good! It was a bit sweet and not too tart. I'll have to give the Arnold Palmer a try next time. We ordered the two tenders and spicy fries with the dark meat and spicy fries and a side of mac n' cheese. Let me be frank and to the point - everything is delicious even down to the pickle garnish. The chicken stays crunchy even with the hot sauce on it! I didn't go to crazy just a "comfortable hot".
