It's a little hard to find tucked back in a little strip center. The inside is interesting decor with different theme walls. What was nice is that the staff was very friendly. It was close to closing time so we ordered fast and got our chips and salsa quickly. Loved the homemade chips and that they were still warm. Salsa was ok. I liked my fajitas but I wasn't as blown away with the taste as my co-worker. I had a few pieces of meat that had grizzle when I bit into them. It wasn't as seasoned as I was hoping too. The beans and rice were ok but didn't appear scratch made.

Beans and rice on the side are optional / modest extra charge - they are usually very good and worth adding if you're hungry enough. My favorite sauce is the Chipotle. It's got heat as it's also creamy...I would call it medium (I like spicy food.) If you're getting them to go, you might want the sauce and toppings on the side. They usually ask about that, but occasionally they might forget. Service is usually friendly and efficient even when they are busy. Your food is made to order, so it's fast but not instantaneous. Allow 5-10 minutes for pickup most of the time. The dining room is medium-sized. I would say it's a place to eat and go, not stay and linger.

However, as the event concluded, multiple attendees, including family members and in-laws, overheard servers making derogatory comments about our party. Among the remarks were that we were "ungrateful," "cheap," and "broke," along with other inappropriate comments that no customer should ever have to hear. I brought the matter to the attention of ownership, hoping for a meaningful resolution. While I was told the employees had been reprimanded, the proposed remedy was a $25 gift card. After nearly 18 years of patronage, the response felt dismissive and only added insult to injury. What disappoints me most is not simply the behavior of the staff, but the lack of accountability and concern shown afterward. This was a place I once considered a reliable and welcoming destination for family gatherings and celebrations. Sadly, that trust has been lost. As a result, I will no longer be returning or recommending this establishment to friends, family, or colleagues. Respect for customers should be a fundamental part of any hospitality business, and in this case, that standard was not met.

It's the closest bakery to where I live.. the overall flavor is good!!! Just once it was gross because the sweet bread tasted like windex yes exactly what you clean the windows with!! I called & complained.. talked to the owner!! She was very nice & offered to replace my order... (never went) I got busy!! I've stopped going since then.. i go to DD instead!! Also the flies on the bread I told a lady I wanted a sweet bread and told her about the fly on top of the bread and she was gonna give me one the fly stood on and i old her and she didn't trash it only moved it over to the back.. quality of bread is awesome & the owner tho everything else ruined it. read more

I've been to el prado bakery many times and Jonathan, a worker there is a great employee he gives the customers great satisfaction. Mr. Niel doesn't know what he is talking about! And it shows immaturity on his part throwing stuff at the employees. Knowing the el prado bakery employees they wouldn't say no racist slur. If you would look at mr. Neil's profile you would see that he gives bad reviews to many of the places he been to! Not everything can go your way Neil learn that about life people can only do so much to satisfy you.
