My husband and I stopped by El Prado Bakery this afternoon before heading to the movie. What a pleasant surprise!! The pastries are super tasty!! I will definitely be coming back to try the salads. The store is super cute! The staff is very friendly and will answer any questions one might have

We stopped into El Prado Bakery in hopes of a donut for the kiddos and tamales for us. When we first pulled in the amount of traffic in and out of El Prado was a tall tell sign this was the place to be! We ordered half a dozen donuts and half a dozen cheese and jalapeño tamales. Nothing disappointed! My kids rated the donuts "a ten out of ten" and the tamales were wonderful. The wait was no more than two minutes after ordering. They have such a wide variety of baked goods, burritos, tamales, quesadillas, etc. making it will worth the visit!

My first visit was breathtaking and welcoming. I love the decor right when you go through the front door. I loved the variety of pan dulce that they offer. Good prices and delicious! Friendly and helpful staff. Freshly packaged tortillas de harina made daily. I love that it had a very spacious eating lobby. They serve hot food daily and the bolillo's were amazing. Front of business parking available. Would definitely be a returning customer.

    This place is the best!!

Menudo is amazing and so are the tamales. We love it there. Just make sure to plan ahead as you will usually have a long wait

Pastries were really good. The breakfast burritos were lacking flavor. I got the potato, egg, chorizo, and it tasted pretty bland.

Delicious and fresh! Staff was cheerful and went out of their way to help us choose from their menu. Need to go back and try lunch there.

The only thing worth getting is the OJ. The food is always lack luster. I've gotten the breakfast burrito 3 times, always dissapointing.

On August 13, my wife and I visited this place for an early lunch. You order at the counter and your order is delivered to your table. My wife ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. I order the Border Burger: Vegan patty with vegan chorizo, vegan cheese avocado and mixed veggies with a side of fries. My wife liked that it was a piece of chicken and not the processed cubbed meat and overcooked. However, she said that it lacked of seasoning. My vegan burger was from Impossible Burgers. It was disappointing. I had expected a home made patty. The fries were a mixed of cold and hot potatoes. I was too hungry to get up to complain at the counter that was busy. I noticed that they serve Picacho Roasters coffee from Las Cruces that I love. We had already have had coffee at home so we settled for plain water. On the side of the counter they have a water dispenser for you to take. The water in the container wasn't cold so I asked for a cup with ice. I read about the delicious donuts so I had one, it was amazing. It is lovely hip place north of downtown with street parking available.

There were plenty of outlets around, so no awkward hovering near a wall like a tech-dependent houseplant. I ordered a coconut latte with oat milk, and it was genuinely good. The booth was also dangerously comfortable with the cushioned bench situation. Very easy to convince yourself you're being productive when really you've just found a socially acceptable place to sit for three hours. Customer service was kind, low-key, and pleasantly quiet. The space stayed pretty peaceful most of the time, so if you need silence to study, this is a solid find. I personally need a little more background chaos to keep my brain entertained, but that is very much a me problem. I'd still come back for the latte, the outlets, and the suspiciously comfortable booth.

My friend enjoyed the biscoff latte but my vanilla latte left something to be desired.
