Love coming here to grab lunch or dinner. It's a neighborhood favorite! I tried the pick 2 and got steak chalupa which is hidden under the lettuce and cheese and chicken burrito. The meats were well seasoned and made to perfection! There was no wait which was good. They have both virgin and alcoholic frozen drinks which is perfect for this hot weather and Greta for both adults and kids. My food came with rice, beans, and guacamole! It's a big meal! Everything was tasty. You do not need a reservation to dine. They do get pretty full after work hours so plan accordingly. They also have outside sitting wi h fans for anyone willing to sit outside. Let me start this review by saying I have been to this El Pueblito a million times & obviously I LOVE their food! (Though Bella Vista does make everything slightly yummier ‍). Anyway, the other night for a special treat, my husband and I stopped in about an hour before closing and picked up a large queso and two asada (soft) tacos to go. We had a bit of a drive ahead of us so we couldn't break into the tacos until we got home. When we got home, we opened the container to find two crunchy ground beef tacos, literally nowhere near being the same item on the menu. It was at that point that I realized I could not eat that night, my postpartum cravings are what they are, and there are no substitutions! Hah, anyway, at this point it was about 10 minutes after closing time and having worked in that industry, I knew there would still be somebody there. I also knew that if I waited until the next day to call that my morning would be very busy and that I wouldn't be able to call until the afternoon or maybe even evening, and I did not want to look like, the jerk that calls a whole day later and says "Hey, so I ate all my food yesterday, and I didn't call you after but my order was wrong and I need my food replaced." I know those types of people, and typically they're either lying or just seeking a bonus meal. Knowing that, I chose to call after closing time, and after it rang for several minutes, I got an answer, and so I started telling what happened, but the other line was remaining totally silent. I for a second thought that it might be an answering machine and so as I'm talking through what's going on, I stop and I say, "Wait is this automated? I'm sorry, are you actually there?" AND I SWEAR TO GOD, Y'ALL, this guy has the balls to say "It's automated!" *beepbeepbeep* AND HUNG UP the interaction was pure comedic gold, but not intentionally on El Pueblito's part. Long story short, I did call back and after having a brief conversation with the "automated messenger" he hung up on me again. I called back for a third time, and they accused my phone of cutting out, which I nicely owned so I could get through the conversation although it has been very clear with every point of the conversation that they were hanging up on me! I did explain what happened and, that I only wanted somebody to write it down or leave a note for tomorrow, so I don't sound like a jerk, and I had no expectations of anybody cooking anything, I just wanted to stay ahead of it so I could be sure that my food would get replaced. Yeah, he informed me he could do nothing and that I should just call back when the manager is there the next day anyway, and hung up on me again. Like. It's TWO tacos. And all I wanted was a post it note left out for the crew the next day. But to be hung up on so many times just to get to that point?! It's obvious that if your money is spent there, it doesn't matter what they deliver to you and have no interest in delivering as such. Nor any desire to keep loyal customers, and the absolute worst customer service you can get! I am definitely dumbfounded by this awful service from one of my favorite restaurants, but my family and I have gotten the best laughs about the "It is automated" So of all the tacos & queso I consume on the reg, none will be from this place, I'll drive miles farther to avoid those clowns. read more

I don't order a lot, so I can't speak to the burritos and such, but I can tell you the ceviche in on-point! I'm so used to being served watery pre-made-in-bulk poorly balanced sushi that's way too many onions from Las Fajitas, so it's pleasurable to enjoy a fresh ceviche with a good ratio of shrimp to creamy avocado. I love Mexican food, so I was excited to try out this place. Overall it was good. Customer service was good overall, attentive, and quick. There is plenty of seating inside. There is a large parking lot out front, but we did have to park kind of far away because it was crowded and we came for an early dinner too haha. The decor is also kind of random. For the food, it was alright. The chips and salsa were really good, I definitely indulged here! My order for my entree was wrong the first time, but I think it was mainly a miscommunication of what I originally ordered. I had a couple bites of everyone's food and it was all alright. I ordered wrong the 1st time and I apologized that I ordered the wrong Quesadilla. When I received my veggie quesadilla it was soggy on one side. They did not drain the veggies, I wasn't able to eat it at all. I just flew in, I ordered to go, had to come back to get the right ordered, AGAIN in which was my fault. After all of that I'm still going to bed hungryI couldn't not bring myself to eat a soggy quesadilla. On another note, the place looks clean, the staff was very professional and greeted with a smile.
