Something about that combination of grilled meat, peppers, onions, cheese, and that big flour tortilla just WORKS. It's hot, cheesy, filling, packed with flavor, and one of those meals where I tell myself I'm only going to eat half and then suddenly there's considerably less left than I planned. Frida's actually has a pretty extensive menu, but I am a firm believer that once you find YOUR thing at a restaurant, you don't keep experimenting just for the sake of being adventurous. LOL. I found mine. So why only 4 stars? Because Frida's is usually packed, and when it gets busy, the service definitely declines. Things can slow down, attentiveness can drop off, and you can feel the difference. And the music? Whew. Sometimes it is EXTREMELY loud. I'm talking to the point where you have to practically scream across the table just to have a conversation with the people in your own party. If you're coming for a lively atmosphere, that may be your thing. If you actually want to talk over dinner, just know what you're walking into.
