Some of the best Mexican food in the Northern California and Central California area. We ordered a carne asada burrito and crispy chicken tacos. The carne asada burrito was very good for this part of the state. No fillers! Meat, guacamole and pico! Yum! The crispy chicken tacos were outstanding. Crispy, lots of chicken and big time flavor. Chips are free as is serve yourself salsa. Big dining room and they have a drive through as well. The only gripe is the person taking our order did not understand English very well. I don't speak Spanish well. That is what we call a communication problem. Since we are in America I think we should understand English in that position at the counter. Stopped in to get a burrito for my husband. Love the complimentary salsa bar and heated chips. Jesus helped me at the counter, then directed me to the salsa. I loved that I could try four different salsas without having to ask. I ordered to go and my burrito was ready in a short amount of time. Customer service was excellent, every employee I came into contact with was smiling and friendly. Their fountain machine serves Coke products, they also have other drinks behind the counter. They have a large menu and breakfast served all day. They have combo plates abd daily specials. They take phone orders and also do catering. I look forward to going back and sitting down for a meal. On the way back home from SoCal and came upon this place after charging our car. We got the super nachos with grilled chicken (pollo asada) and 2 quesabirrias w/ consome and kids meal quesadilla w/ rice and beans (such a big portion. My 7 year old daughter indulged lol. Overall, our birria tacos didn't have much fat in it. I only took a small piece out but other than that it was good. Not soggy and a nice crunch. Everything was good. We are picky too w/ Mexican food but this was good Mexican food. Customer service was also great! We didn't get the name of the man who too our ordering 5/24 but he was great! Oh and they also have a salsa bar. Great variety! And plenty of agua frescas to choose from. My husband got Guayaba and it was great, not too sweet like other places. Driving through Patterson,CA for gas and look for a quick bite to eat. Not a big fan of fast food, but didn't want to take the time for a full service restaurant either. Saw El Rancheros next to the gas station so went in there. Very clean, and organized. Ordered a chicken and Carnitas large taco. They were both delicious. We stumbled upon this place making a pit stop during a road trip. I was craving a breakfast burrito and El Rancheros did not disappoint! The breakfast burritos were HEFTY. Service was also quick and the burritos came out super hot and fresh. The Super Breakfast Burrito was flavorful but not too salty. The tortilla was not too thick which I prefer. My husband got the steak breakfast burrito and didn't like it as much as mine (lol) but still enjoyed it. We also got complimentary chips and salsa with our order! We paid a little over $30 for both burritos which wasn't bad given the size, and with our appetite we could eat our burritos for breakfast and lunch on our road trip. Will definitely making this a regular stop on our road trips in the future! read more

Solid! Nice find while driving down the I-5. I've driven down the 5 for years and never knew about this place. It's a great stop! Not too busy, clean, and the food was tasty. I got 2 crispy tacos and it wasn't too oily. Perfect crisp on the shell. Rice and beans were yum! They had a really big menu. If I wasn't trying to lose weight, I would have gotten one of their desserts... lol. Definitely will try to stop here again if I can time it right. Personally ordered the Carne Asada burrito and was quite disappointed, especially for the price. It lacked favor and did not have much meat compared to the amount of rice. I would also avoid the breakfast burrito as I tried it from a friend and we didn't eat more than a few bites. However, the Beria tacos were pretty decent and IF you have to come here would advise you to get those over many other menu items. read more
