Not a recommended destination for authentic cuisine; the salsa was subpar, appearing to be jarred and lacking flavor. I added salt, but it didn't enhance the taste. The michelada was also far from authentic; I added items from the table, but it still didn't improve. The enchiladas were not authentic Michoacanas-style enchiladas. read more

Then after going back to pickup what they forgot I came back home to eat and found a fried pincher bug in my tacos. Honestly, I don't understand the reviews on here. I'm inclined to believe that the only time these people wrote a review is when they want to complain. This place makes my all time favorite burrito and I'm so grateful they are located in the town I live in. You HAVE to order a Burrito Ahogado (or mojado) with shrimp. It is amazing. This is a very unpleasant place. Not only did the waitress made go back and sit to wait to pay because (she was serving drinks which I understood) she not only delivered the drinks to the only occupied table but she also took the time to take their order which was a party of like 10 people, she made me wait like 20 min to pay on top of that she charged us more than what was displayed on the menu for our drinks, when we questioned her she said those prices were wrong and they were different because different things were added to the drinks, when we asked her before ordering what was in the drinks she never mentioned any additions. Then she got upset and threw us back our card and said not pay anything that all we wanted was to drink for free( this was what hurt the most). So I left 20 dlrs which was more than what we owed and will never be coming back here like no else should. This is very sad because we never go out to have a drink and this completely ruined our experience. People shouldn't be in the restaurant business if they don't know how to manage it. I normally don't like to give a negative remark. However, this place was the exception, the lady that greeted us was nice, but the food was nasty, I ordered the chile colorado, the refried beans were sour they seemed slimmy, and gooey. The rice had no flavor. The meat was even more nasty than the beans, there were small chunks that looked almost green and tasted spoiled but there were a few good. It's as though they mixed the nasty with good (just my opinion) Health code should definitely look into this place, I couldn't eat this, the cook looked at us as if he knew, the lady didn't offer discount nor did she care, I told her I just want to leave we got charged full price, which I didn't care, I just wanted to leave. I saw someone commented to try out Las Brisas de Michoacán, well I went- and never again. We ordered an "aguachile" - they might as well say they don't have it. It was fully raw. It didn't even have a chance to marinate and cook in the lime. It was gummy and warm to top it off - we had a bite and spit it out. It was bad, when we told the waitress not only was she rude and disrespectful - she said "too bad I'm still going to charge it-I should've told you it was raw, but next time educate yourself on ordering." Mind you - I've been to numerous restaurants, I know aguachile is typically somewhat raw but not out the bag raw. She was very upset but she continued to argue over and over I had to tell her we were not interested in arguing over eating that uncooked shrimp & getting sick and still she wouldn't stop. I might be wrong but the lime juice tasted like bottled lime juice. It was horrid for the cost of $20. Worst restaurant experience ever, I brought a family member from San Jose to try this place out and I can't say what was worst - waitresses attitude or the food. Worst customer service ever. We ordered horchatas and they tasted horrible. It seemed like they gave us all the stuff at the bottom of the jug. After we returned our drinks and ordered new drinks they waiter told us she was still going to charge us for the horchatas. I asked to speak to the manager and they told us he wasn't available. When our food arrived the rice and beans were ice cold. I again asked for a manager. They refused to give us the restaurants number or the managers number. First and last time here. The tortas with chicken was kinda bland and the cook didn't plate avocados as instructed so that's a lost of a point for me. The chicken tacos were decent because the sauce had a good taste. I do admit the chicken is moist and not dry at all. In terms of flavour it reminds me of the tyson chicken that comes from the bag at walmart, wether it's the same or not im unsure but it sure tastes like it. The rice and beans were really good however and they do serve beer. One of the better places in patterson honestly, if you feel like trying the seafood I have had shrimp cocktails from there and they taste fresh. read more

First time I was there was 3 years ago, and I really like to support local business, however seems like local business can care less if they have customers or not! What seemed to be the only cook that night had absolutely no sense of urgency, he constantly came up to the window to chat. Hence we waited a looooog time for our food. We have lived in Patterson for 23 years now. There are several Mexican restaurants in town and this is definitely our favorite. We had their cerviche for an appetizer last night and it was absolutely delicious. They make it fresh each morning. My husband has had the fish soup and he loved it. Not a bad place to eat. The restaurant was clean, spacious (nothing crazy but enough to hold maybe 30 people at one time). Chips and salsa (salsa has a little spice, which is what I like). The food was pretty good, enjoyed my meal, and the prices weren't bad (maybe a little more than I expected for two people, but my food was hot, correct, and a good size). There rice was not authentic Mexican rice. I love mexican food and could not finish my dish. The enchilada sauce tasted like tomato sauce. Just awful and pricey.
