I have been to this establishment previously but decided to visit again as it was excellent the first time. This is a very authentic Mexican restaurant as you would find south of the border. The pictures illustrate this. It is a colorful and fun place perfect for lunches or informal dinners. The waitress was attentive and immediately brought us complimentary tortilla chips and homemade salsa. Both were delicious and the tortilla chips were unsalted and the cilantro in the homemade salsa gave it zing! We ordered two combination plates - Chile Relleno and an Enchilada with Beef and a Green Chili Plate with corn tortilla. I tried my friend's plate as well and everything was excellent - fresh, hot, and yummy! I highly recommend this establishment.

The food was goooood here! I really liked the guacamole too! I'm more of a " flour "chip girl and I was so delighted when they had it on their menu! Had the chili relleno combo plate, plenty of flavorful food! Hubby had the green Chile, it was so satisfying! This restaurant stays busy, but is pretty quiet... The server we had was very kind! We enjoyed our entrees and definitely will be back to try new dishes and for a margarita, of course!!

This was my first time at El Ranchito. The restaurant is located in downtown Globe . It is small, but definitely worth the visit. I love all of the colorful Decour. The staff was very friendly and made you feel like you were in their home. The food was very fresh. I loved it because it was not heavy or greasy. I had the Christmas burro which was a full of flavor from the green and red chilis. I have family in the Globe/Miami area. Now that I have found this little Jewel, I will make it a must stop on every trip even if I just pick up a to go order.

My husband, his sister and I had dinner here once when visiting Globe. I had beef fajitas with flour tortillas, guacamole, rice and beans. My husband had a shredded beef combo with rice and beans. He said the beef was too salty and the salsa too hot. Only one kind of salsa was available. It would have been nice to have some mild salsa. I really liked the beans and fresh tortilla. My beef had some tough pieces but was generally good. I liked the red and green pepper slices. The rice was good. The decor was colorful and pretty. Our booth was comfortable.

When Jen & I head towards Globe Arizona we stop for lunch or dinner at El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant, this place is small but the food is delicious and we usually try to have something different every visit, the service is great people are friendly and the inside is very colorful with mirrors painted everywhere. So hopefully when in the area stop by and give them a try I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Adios.

Love this place. Make sure you check about whether something has meat in it before you order. It's not always clearly labeled.

Whole beans here are lard free and vegetarian. The flour tortillas contain lard. It's counter service fast food feel but the inside was nicely decorated. They have this plate as a vegan option as is and the person I spoke too was knowledgeable about ingredients . They had 3 different house-made salsas on the salsa bar. They gave me a sample of the Jamaica drink which was WAY too sweet for me. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. Located right by Burger King, I was looking for some hearty Mexican food!…read more I ordered the #5 and it arrived to my table with care! Did you see the extra little chips around my beans? That was nice. It's the little things that make customers feel appreciated! They have two salsas, red habanero and green tomatillo type, which was my favorite. The guacamole was actually guac - not full of sour cream like other restaurants use to increase the product. The girl working in the restaurant had such a JOYFUL presence and was in a great mood, a little giggly, with the cutest laugh. She even helped a little boy and his mom with a toy/quarter machine. The little boy skipped his way out, he was so happy! This crew must enjoy what they're doing! Guys cooking in the back were fast! She recognized customers as they came in and was kind to everyone, wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving! The food was EXACTLY what I was looking for... hot, fresh, seasoned nicely and very filling. The Burro meat was deliciously juicy, rice - savory, beans - authentic! Enchilada sauce was full of flavor, but not spicy. Loved it! This place played nice calming music, not too loud and the tile work in the entire place was beautiful! There's plenty of table space including high tops. Bathroom smelled like it had just been cleaned, everything was so tidy! I'll be back again to try the carne Asada!

Finding gems like these on Yelp is what keeps me loyal to Yelp! Ive been on Yelp since 2006 (close…read moreto 20 years and well before Google maps or reviews ever existed) and without it, I would have missed out on a lot of cool and neat places like this! Thanks Yelp for helping me find 20 years of good eats, drink and fun! La Luz Del Dia means "the light of the day" in Spanish and boy is this place bright and cheery and the perfect start to a glorious and beautiful Sunday morning. You know this place is gonna be good because as I drove down the deserted road nary a car through downtown Globe and arrive at this place, you see a bunch of cars parked huddled near this place. I knew it wws gonna be good. I walk into this unassuming place and almost every table is taken at close to 9am on Sunday. There were a few seats at the counter facing the open kitchen so I made a beeline to sit down. Wait staff and customers in here are so nice and friendly! The cute girls working here are fast and efficient, and super sweet and all with a smile. I was pretty hungry as I hadn't eaten since Friday breakfast and was ready to gobble up a good breakfast. I had a chorizo burro (same as a burrito, still trying to figure out the difference) and a cup of coffee. Coffee was ok, and did the job. But, the burro was great! Southwest breakfast burritos are some of the best, and when you're in the Southwest, definitely don't pass this up to have. This burro was also huge and despite the fact I was famished, I could only eat a half of my burro. You can get red or green salsa, but since I am a spice pansy, I opted for the red, which was still more spicy than I can handle. By 9:20am, I was finished eating and ready to go. You go up to the cashier and pay there. There's a desert and drinks case by the register and lots of goodies there to choose from too. There was baklava, organized cake and brownies on offer. I also spied a chamoy pickle for sale too, here in the Southwest when the summers get so hot, having a pickle is sometimes in order to replace the salt we lose sweating so much! Overall, I loved this place! Loved the atmosphere as its kind of an old school diner, and everyone in here was a delight and the food was delicious! I'll be back again when coming thru Globe again! And you should definitely check this place out when passing thru Globe!

Tiny location, the counter top is the choice seat. Food was really good with ample portions. The green chilis and pork in the Huevos Ranchero were excellent. Will come back again.

Andrea has has the hangover burger and the midstate burger with cottage cheese and shared in the chips and nachos. She also stole huge bites of my burgers and several of my onion rings! Everything has been awesome! So awesome, int fact, we stopped on the way uo north to Alpine from Gilbert, and decided to stop in again the following day in the way home! Our choices were Copper Bistro and Nurd Burger Cafe and for no particular reason we decided on Coper Bistro. We were surprised and richly rewarded by their cheese burger, fries and onion rings. I may have made mention in other reviews that a burger patty must protrude beyond the bun in order to attract my attention. This patty protruded well beyond the brioche bun and, better yet, it was hand crafted, not pulled out of a box of 300 other patties that were shaped exactly the same. And the beef was flavorful. We both enjoyed the fries and onion rings. Our meal was so filling we didn't eat dinner that night. Oh, the staff are super friendly, attentive and downright welcoming. If you find yourself in Globe, you could do a lot worse that supping at Copper Bistro.
