But the worst thing was what came out of the kitchen. One of our group ordered a bacon cheese burger that came out as a burger patty on a bun. That's all. No cheese. No bacon. Their crowning failure though was the taco salad that came out in a burned tortilla shell with a chopped up burger patty, not taco meat but a plain hamburger patty that they had chopped up (no seasoning). Not planning to return.

The pizza was hot and tasty and the beer was cold and bubbly. I had a Flagstaff beer Brew42 Irish Red, and Liz enjoyed an lighter 805 draft from California. Not too shabby for a Friday night off the beaten path on the road to Phoenix. They had a variety of pizza flavors, buffalo chicken, BBQ chicken, margherita, cheese ...we went for their Three Piglets which came with salama, sausage, and bacon. Not heavy despite all the sliced pork...full of flavor. The kids enjoyed the pizza and Noemi was amazed with the amount of cheese in her Mac n cheese. Kim O was a very nice and attentive server. She made sure we wanted for nothing. We didn't sit in the bar area, but there were sports being played on the big screens. It was later at night but it seemed like a popular gathering place and older families were hanging out and walking out with smiles as we walked in. We were glad to have stopped on this pass through enroute to Phoenix.

On entering we found a thoroughly modern fast food restaurant. We were seated immediately and offered menus and drinks. Quick inspection revealed a quiet, clean place with waitresses ready to be of service. The menu was 3 pages long and had lots of favorites on it. It was nice to see a fair number of senior items listed. Companion ordered the bacon burger done medium. It was cooked perfectly and appeared to be homemade and about a third of a pound. It was graced with nicely cooked bacon strips, american cheese, lettuce, pickles, tomato, onion and BBQ sauce. It came with a nice side of creamy cole slaw. For myself, I ordered the green chile burger done rare. Unlike many other places they will cook the burger the way you like it and mine was cooked to perfection. Again, a nice big patty with jack cheese melting over it along with lettuce and tomato and a large green chile draped over it. This was one of the very best burgers I have ever been served. It was dripping down my hands and arms, but that is why there are sinks in bathrooms. An outstanding burger served with perfectly cooked onion rings and an extra side of cole slaw that I ordered. There were huge sweet rolls that were just put out on the counter, but I didn't have the room to eat one, and companion couldn't even finish the burger that was ordered. If I am ever back in that area again you can be sure I will stop there and order the same burger again. Service was fast and sanitation was excellent and spotlessly clean. My only regret is that we don't have any place even close to this in the Phoenix area. An outstanding lunch. 5 stars

We were in full shade. The owner handled this as well as our order and bringing out the food. He was friendly and engaging. The place is cute inside and was clean. The only disappointment was that the half pound of brisket I got was chopped rather than sliced. I am sure that is on me for not realizing it would come that way. Regardless, the meat was lean and tender and has a nice smokey taste. I prefer not to use sauce and this meat didn't need any. The burnt ends (both beef and pork belly) were good but I would stick to the brisket. My husband got a baked potato and it was loaded up nicely. The fries were very good and served piping hot. The order size was generous. If you find yourself in or near Globe, this place is worth a stop.

Watching HUGE BBQ PLATTER CHALLENGE | BeardMeatsFood, I thought it might be exaggerated for the camera, but nope. They serve up serious plates. My 6yo and I ordered 3 rolls(california, rainbow and caterpillar) and an appetizer(coconut tempura shrimp). We received 2 rolls before our appetizer, which to me was weird. They all came with wasabi and ginger, and I asked our waitress Loren if I could have some ginger without wasabi as I am mildly allergic. She said no because they use the same hand to serve both so the wasabi is in the ginger. I thought 'that sucks, cross contamination'. When the final roll(caterpillar) came out it had 3 sauces on it; unagi sauce, spicy Mayo and Siracha. I asked her when she came by again if it was supposed to have the spicy ones, she said 'oh yes, the caterpillar comes with all 3'. I had ordered it for my 6yo to eat, the menu has none of the spicy sauces listed in the description, just the unagi sauce. So, buyer beware, not all sauces are listed on the menu and if you have an allergy you might want to eat elsewhere because if there is one cross contamination, there are bound to be others.

Note this is a VERY small place, and it is absolutely NOT a fancy place, but has cool genuine local vibe. They only have 3 tables. You order at the counter and then they bring the food to you or hand to you for take out. Also - they make your meal to order, so be prepared to wait while they cook the chicken. The potato wedges are also very good, and I don't know if they make their own ketchup for the fries, but it is excellent too. The staff are the owners here and are very friendly. Rate 5 stars b/c of the food, but the physical restaurant I'd give 2 stars due to so few tables, outside restrooms, etc. Highly recommend if you especially love fried chicken.
