The salsa itself was disappointing too: thick, plain, and more like tomato sauce than the fresh, zesty dip I was hoping for. Service also had a hiccup--I was charged for extra pico and sour cream that never arrived. Not the end of the world, but frustrating nonetheless. All in all, while my meal was tasty and my son enjoyed his birthday, I can't say I had the complete Mexican dining experience I look forward to. I'll give Salsa's another shot next year, but for now, it's not at the top of my list.
