The Pastor Street Tacos were some of the best we have ever had! Service was very good too. Restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated.

We come here often so to be treated the way that we were today, we will not be going back. We walked in as a party of 8, and unsure of if a couple more people were going to come. We informed the staff of this. We ended up being a group of 11, and we were met with the most distasteful treatment. The man in the blue shirt, I'm assuming is the owner, was the rudest of them all. He argued with us about moving a table, and walked away without finishing the conversation. We were the only people in the restaurant when we arrived and by the time we left, there were maybe 6-7 tables. The blue shirt man and all the workers congregated at the computers talking about us and staring at our table. They limited us on chips and were extremely rude when we said we'd pay the $3.99 for extra chips. One of the people in our party asked for silverware and the waitress threw it on the table in her direction and just kept walking. She was pleasant before the extra people arrived, and her whole demeanor changed once they got there. And we were treated this way because we needed one more table??? Very poor customer service. We have always loved going here because the food is great and the service is quick. Unfortunately we will no longer go here. read more

I had the Enchiladas Suiza which was delicious. Fresh cilantro and onions were a nice touch. Rachel was our cheery server who did a great job of keeping our drinks filled and checking back periodically to see if we needed anything else. It sounded like they were partying in the kitchen. This is the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at, and that is saying a lot as I have eaten at so many. If you take one thing away from this review it should be that the food pretty much sucks. The service is very slow. It took forever to get our food. Two people in our party of 5 ordered what was supposed to be one of their specialties which was grande something or other. It was kind of a big sampler platter that came out on 2 plates. The hard taco and tostada shells were so soggy they were stuck to the plate and couldn't be eaten easily (and cold). The ground beef was bland and a little "animal barn-like" tasting. The chili relleno was soggy and nasty. The sides (rice, refried beans, guacamole, pico de gallo) were flavorless and the beans were runny. I had the special that day which was the chimichangas. They were also soggy even though they were supposed to be fried. They only had ground beef in them with a drop of cheese sauce under one of them (there were 2) so they were really dry, soggy and bland. I tried topping them with the sides, but since the sides were also bland, it didn't help much. They were also the smallest chimichangas I have ever seen. Another friend got the birria tacos. They looked beautiful, but they were too dry to even choke down. Should have been tender and juicy, but they were all dried out like they had been overcooked. My husband's flour tortillas that were wrapped in foil and should have been warm and soft, were cold and hard as though they had been microwaved too long and then sat there for a while. The only positive I can say is that the chips were warm (although too thick) and the salsa was not bad. Definitely don't recommend. I would go to just about any other Mexican restaurants in the area before I would go here again. read more

Called to make sure they would be open for us to come and they said yes they would be open until 7 or 8. They asked how many and I asked if they were sure it would be ok that we would be there in 10 minutes. The gentleman said absolutely. We arrive to the girl locking the door and smiling at me. I told her that I called to verify they would be open and she laughed at me and said they were closing early. Super disappointed in a place that we frequent often. read more

The food here is incredibly bland and unseasoned, as if they didn't even use salt. The menu is also inaccurate, items will come with things they didn't list on them, or they will describe things as "on the side" but instead put them inside of the item you order, like the burritos. read more

This spot has been open for a month or so. We stopped by for lunch when a neighbor told us it was really good. Sure enough, they were excellent! The place is really clean and very well decorated. The service was above average and the food was good. The chips were crisp and the sauce was mild...which my wife prefers. I asked for more spicy and they brought a red sauce with the heat I enjoy. My wife's beef enchilada was good but her beans were bland. I added some hot sauce and crema to my beans and that made them delicious. I ordered three street tacos: lengua, carnitas, and barbacoa and all were good! We will return! read more

The worst experience at a Mexican restaurant. Both the waitress and the owner were extremely rude. The margaritas were terrible and the food just as bad. The owner treats customers in a despotic and disrespectful way. On top of that, the waitress doesn't speak English and should not be serving if she can't communicate. Very friendly staff. The food...well it's a mix of somewhat authentic dishes and then many things that midwestern folks like to see. My husband likes the spicy Shrimp Diablo and I often go for enchiladas or huevos rancheros. The prices are very good and the salsa could use more heat but is still tasty. I keep going back because it's always very fresh and very fast!! Big menu to choose from! It can be a bit loud during busy times as it's a big open place. bring cash! Here now. Been here 45 min. Seen my waiter 2 times. Five people in our party. Only one basket of chips and one thing of salsa. Just had another waiter come with someone else's food. This is some of the worst service I've ever gotten anywhere. This place has done nothing but when downhill since they've opened. At first it was great. No issues and everyone was raving about this place. It was great. I do t know what happened but the last few times I've been here service has been lousy. Tonight we're getting the. "We are full" excuse as to why things are so slow. The people next to us have had their waiter out here like 6-7 times already. I think it's bad help. Just sayin. Definitely a hidden gem. Randomly came here on a trip from california & was impressed. The burrito was very good. I did no chicken, all veggie & it was amazing. Drinks were also good. & you can't beat the prices really. It was big enough that i shared half with my friend who also enjoyed it. Definitely worth a try. read more

This place is not original Mexican food and it's pretty bad. The problem is that most people don't really know what good Mexican food is and they just are satisfied with whatever slop comes on the plate. The food is pretty bland and it's not really flavored the way true Mexican food is but I guess for Fort Wayne or for the Midwest it's all you know compared to what you can get out in Phoenix or Los Angeles. This place is no better than Taco Bell. The staff and owners are nice, but that doesn't make up for the poor quality of the food. I know this place has lots of good reviews but I think that just comes from not really knowing really good quality, Mexican food. read more

I have been to all the top rated Mexican restaurants around the Fort Wayne area and this one certainly is a contender for top rated......I had a combo Chile Relleno Burrito with rice and beans ......my wife had barbacoa chimichangas.......both meals huge portions and off the hook good.......it's worth the drive to get this great meal! If you love, authentic Mexican food, this is the greatest place to go to. This is our go to restaurant because of the food and the service. We have tried numerous items on the menu and have never been disappointed. My recommendation is if you're going on the weekend to get there a little early, because the place will fill up quickly.
