Their chicken tortillas soup is really good. Lots of fresh vegetables. You can make a meal out of this appetizer. Service is good too.

Had lunch. The specials only come with rice OR beans not both as was the case last time we were in. No guacamole or Pico de Gallo either. Small portions of beans, and the chimichanga. Looked like from a food service company. Prices were about 20% higher than Cebollas across Coldwater and you get less food at Casa Grande too. Server never came back to ask how things were. You have to pay your server, we couldn't find him. Tried to pay at front and the guy standing there said you have to pay server. Told him he just walked away. Didn't seem to care. We will NEVER be back to Casa Grande. At Cebollas, you get rice AND beans, guacamole, pico de gallo and bigger portions with better service and LOWER prices. Visited this restaurant on a Friday evening. The food was okay, but the service was disappointing. It came time to pay our tab, which hadn't been delivered and we had not seen our server, others for quite some time. I did see two at the bar scrolling their phones. Whew ... What a week or so will do to change your perspective. I stopped in for a late lunch. My server was a mature age gentleman, he wasn't friendly but professional. He took my drink order, which is always coke or Pepsi then requested to know if I wanted diet, no, I want either Coke or Pepsi as previously stated. I ordered the lunch Special #10. Which is a beef enchilada, a beef chalupa, and a chicken quesadilla. What I was served only had one of the items listed on the Special #10. I don't send food back, so I ate the enchilada and left the rest. My server never checked on me, so there were no refills and I had to request another server ask him for the check. Surprised at these low reviews! We really enjoyed it. I had the spinach and chicken dish with mashed potatoes, which was yummy. Had a few glasses of white wine with generous pours. He is so bubbly and friendly, knows everything there is to know about the menu, and makes sure you always have everything you need. He has never been unattentive or lazy and always very quick. We drove up to Ft Wayne from Louisville for the weekend to visit family. We usually have Mexican for dinner and we ate here once before, so we decided "Hey, we liked this before, let's do it again!" So we did. It was nice to be seated immediately, especially on a Friday evening around 7pm. Our server (Jesus, according to the receipt. He didn't introduce himself) came over to get our drink orders and we asked for chips and salsa. Away goes Jesus to get our drinks and chips and salsa while we peruse the menu. About 10 minutes later he came back to take our orders. My wife had fish tacos, I opted for the Enchiladas Super Mix (Five enchilada, one each cheese, chicken, beef, bean and shredded beef). Sometimes you're just in the mood for a plate full of enchiladas. Our entrees arrived about 12 minutes later. The restaurant was busy but not swamped at that time, so it's a pretty good delivery time. My wife's food was hot. Mine, on the other hand....not so hot. In fact, barely warm. To be more specific, the cheese enchilada was cold. C.O.L.D. The chicken was a bit warmer, and the other three came in at moderately warm. (read that - Not Hot). While I hate to be "that guy" in a restaurant, I had to be "that guy" and asked Jesus to have it re-made. The temperature of the food made it very unappetizing and unhealthy. Less than ten minutes later Jesus brought my food back out. I immediately knew it hadn't been re-made because the exact same piece of the cheese enchilada that I managed to eat was still missing. Remember, I asked for the food to be re-made. This was obviously not the case. The plate was warmer, but the food was only marginally warmer. I knew exactly what they did. The plate was taken back, they scraped what tomato, lettuce, sour cream, and cheese they could off and put it under a warmer for a few minutes. Then they put new toppings on it. However, the lettuce that was left had gotten warm. Warm lettuce is gross. It is 100% gross and tastes terrible. I had gotten the exact same plate of food back. I'm pretty sure there are health laws about re-serving the same food. I was hungry after a 5+ hour drive so I ate it, but it was, in no way, appetizing or satisfying. Jesus came by to ask if everything was better. My response was "marginally, but still not good" and he walked away. There were no follow up questions, no manager came by to see if things were better. None of that. A few minutes later he brought the check. We paid unceremoniously and left. Our first visit to Casa Grande a few months ago was great. This visit makes me sincerely doubt if we'll go back. While the restaurant was clean and well staffed and people were hustling, my food was completely unsatisfying, mildly disgusting, and wholly disappointing. read more

We went in on Cinco de Mayo, food was great & service was good considering how busy they were. However our bill was $75, I left a $15 cash tip & seems like the waitress added on another $15 tip on the credit card. My husband signed all 0's on the tip & and I know he wouldn't have tipped her on the card if we were tipping cash. Called the restaurant& they told me nobody was available to help and that I could come in on Thursday when their Manager was back. As a server & manager myself this kind of behavior is why people don't tip anything at all anymore or leave pennies let alone is it illegal for them to write in our own tips or adjust the tip not to match what was written. Casa Grande continues to be a good choice for Mexican food. The last couple times we have visited on a Sunday lunch...we've had to wait to be seated even though the restaurant is about 50% full. I give credit to the management for managing the customer flow versus their manpower. While wait was inconvenient...the dinning experience was fine. Our waiter was Fernando R who was very professional and friendly. He was very responsive with drink and chip refills. We done! My wife had the shrimp salad. She loved how the shrimp were prepared - moist, nicely cooked and seasoned well. My daughter had the San Cabo burrito. The burrito was large, filled with shrimp and have a creamy sauce. On this occasion I thought the chips were over cooked as they very thick, a little tough and slightly more greasy. I had the enchiladas Bandera. The green chicken was interesting. I loved the color. The chicken was moist but a little difficult to cut. The green sauce had a green pepper/jalapeño flavor...but not strong. I loved the cheese enchiladas - very creamy and the cheese oozed out. The red beef was moist and finely ground. Just a mild red sauce taste that nicely accented the ground beef taste. The facility is large with a nice patio. This looks inviting for outdoor dinning and large groups. One thing I dislike about this facility is the curb on the northwest entrance. You literally drive over a curb. My car bottoms out on this curb top every time no matter what I try. read more

Service is a gamble. Cocktails are poorly made with cheap tequila. The bar doesn't have a bartender most of the time. Went here over the weekend for the first time ever and I simply wanted water to drink. Our waiter was very adamant about not getting water because it's gross in his opinion. So I had to pay for a Coke. Our food was very bleh. I had steak in my burrito and it was dry and gamey. The sign said they were short staffed but they had 5-6 employees just standing at the entrance talking to each other. You can definitely find better Mexican food, and service elsewhere. read more

We visited on a Friday evening - it wasn't very busy and the service was subpar. It took multiple requests for additional salsa, chips, drinks, napkins, white dip (which previously just arrived with the salsa and now I guess needs to be requested). Stick to beer as the three mixed drinks ordered were very weak/watered down. Even the extra Patron shots in the margaritas were barely detected which leads me to believe they water down the bottles of alcohol- NOT worth the extra $5 per shot, $26 for 2 margaritas a with an extra shot of patron that tasted like watered down lemonade. The food wasn't great either. There are much better Mexican restaurants in Fort Wayne, don't waste your time or money here. read more

I have eaten here many times during my stay in Fort Worth. I was surprised to realized that I have never left a review. Every meal has been generous ,filling and very good. I usually get the chicken chimichanga. There is something about fried tortillas and shedded chicken I love. This restaurants does not fail. It surpasses the expectations with flavorful moist chicken beans or rice. The salsa is superb. Blended flavors and sometimes very spicy. The chips are fresh fried and crunchy. Yum. I love the patio this place has to offer. But at times I've gone the staff out there have been pretty crappy and mad that they have to be there complaining to me about short staffed etc. one time the bartender was helping. He actually was a great server just a bad attitude I've only noticed this during lunch time. Chips and salsa are great and I love mixing ranch in with their salsa. Gives it good flavor. The chips come out hot and we devour them. The big burrito and chimichangas are to salivate over. Both are filled with huge hunks of shredded chicken that need your fork to cut into them. The burrito is topped with plenty of red sauce and Sour cream and tomatoes. Served with rice or beans my company hooded the rice and it's very tasty. The burrito is enormous for a lunch portion and she took half home. The chimichanga is fried crisp but it's open ended. It was flaky and filled with fresh chicken and tomatoes etc. it came with a little salad that was also very good and fresh. We've also had the shrimp fajitas before. They came out hot and pan sizzling to the table. The side veggies and tortillas were wonderfully sautéed and warm when brought out. We actually shared them cause they err big. It was yummy. I recommend coming here it's a typical chain restaurant but it's fresh and tasty. read more

My fiance and I are new to the area and came here in October for dinner. The food, drink, and waitress' service were amazing. Pricing was fair and portions were generous. So why 2 stars? We were seated in the bar area in a booth very near the bar just not directly at the bar. At the bar, there was a couple and then the bartender who were speaking VERY loud. The bartender, in particular, was making very loud and boisterous comments that were incredibly racially insensitive. The entire bar area could hear it and we weren't the only people there. His comments/conversation went on the duration of our meal and we heard every word. It made us so uncomfortable that we didn't stay for a second round of drinks when we normally would have. We will go back because the food and the rest of the service was great. We normally sit at the bar, but I promise you we won't here because I honestly don't want to risk having to interact with a person like that particular bartender. read more

Place is understaffed. Took us 30 mins to get margaritas. Took another 10+ mins to get someone to come take our food order. They didn't even make my fathers order so he had to wait 10-15 minutes AFTER the rest of us had all gotten our food. That was just the service. The worst part, why I am leaving this review for the public, is the fact that they served me RANCID tortillas for my quesadillas. After eating here for the first time last night, I left impartial to my dining experience. Nothing bad and nothing great. Chips and salsa were average, service was fine, dinner fine. Nothing mind blowing. My Texas Margarita was STRONG! *not complaining I chose the Pollo Pastor. It was flavorful, although fresh pineapple as opposed to canned would have been nice. I actually was quite pleased with the beans and rice. They were more flavorful than most local mexican restaurants. I will add that my kids meals were very generous and enjoyed by them. This is just another americanized version of Mexican food. Would I return? Yes, maybe if invited there with friends. Do I crave going back? No. Would I recommend this place? I am a little surprised in all the high reviews. I gave three stars because the service really is great. They are quick and always making sure you have what you need. However the food is not quite authentic. Los cabo's is almost directly across the street and is way better( obviously they can only seat 20-30 people at at time but he good is amazing.) I had the enchiladas trio barely any meat inside and lacked flavor also ordered dessert(flan) and quite sure it's either a frozen product or it's not freshly made. My wife and I decided to grab lunch here today and were not disappointed at all. We added queso to go along with the chips and salsa, and ended up near full on just that. Salsa was excellent and queso was very good too. They offer Coke products to drink, we both decided we would have a Coke and those were so awesome we both had 2. They have the syrup cranked up, and filter out the chlorine in the water. She ordered Pollo Asada and I decided on the Chori Pollo both were very good. We of course had to take home our left overs and had a great dinner at home too. The only negative I could find is that the menu is huge, like intimidatingly huge. I can't really count that against them because the food and service are great. The staff here is excellent, very friendly and attentive. Going to let friends and family in on this great place to eat. Placed an online order with Casa Grande at Woodland Plaza and was informed it would be ready by 5:49 pm. My daughter got there at that time and was met by a line of over 20 people who have been waiting since 5 pm for their orders which are just now being given to them. No communication from anyone in the restaurant about the delay, unable to contact them OR their other location by phone. Needless to say I am not happy and will NEVER order from this sorry excuse of a restaurant again...horrible service...and the charge to my account is pending...I better not get charged since my daughter had to leave without our food. read more

I was pretty bummed when I found out that Casa Grande replaced Qui's (it was my favorite Vietnamese restaurant). However, after trying this place out, I am satisfied! My boyfriend and I decided to check this place out for lunch. It is nicely decorated outside and inside as well. It looks pretty clean on the inside, too. They also have a nice looking bar area. Their drink specials is a pretty good deal - Mondays - 0.99 Domestic beers, Tuesdays 1.95 margaritas. We were greeted with such friendly staffs. We did not have to wait long for our table. After we sat down, the waiter immediately brought out chips and salsa. There was another dip that was white..looks like ranch mixed with something..it was so tasty and addicting! The menu had a HUGE selections of Mexican foods - tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, burritos, and many more. The price is not so bad - typical $10ish for a plate. I decided to get the Azteca steak served with beans, rice, and tortillas. My boyfriend had the lunch steak fajitas. The portion is pretty big so you might have to take it togo. My steak was tasty - it wasn't too hard or too chewy. I really enjoyed my food. This is the definitely the place to try out if you're searching/craving for Mexican foods. I would say its comparable to Cebollas food. Casa grande is just better because of their awesome and friendly staffs! read more

Wow. So we used to come here all the time back when it was Qui's and before that when it was The Mandarin. We were sad when Qui's closed. We are no longer sad. My wife and I stopped here for lunch to try it out. The first thing we noticed was they had an outdoor area. Unfortunately it was too cold and windy, so we had to dine inside, but that was okay. Inside, the decor has changed dramatically. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I have to say it was stunning. It looked upscale, much different from what we were used to at other places. It was also very clean. The young guy hosting greeted us immediately and from the start made us feel welcome. He was very pleasant, professional, and funny. The only bad part to him was that he is a Patriot's fan, but we won't hold that against the restaurant. He seated us, and we were immediately given chips, salsa, and this ranch stuff that was fabulous. The chips were delicious. They didnt taste like they were from a bag or anything. The salsa required a little salt (our preference) but was flavorful nonetheless. The dip was something I had never tried. One of the staff described it as ranch, mayo, jalapeno, and some other ingredients. I couldn't hear them all over the crunch of the chips as I stuffed my face. The menu was very nice. Many choices and good descriptions. Our waiter introduced himself and took our orders. He was very professional and friendly. We started with the queso fundito...and proceeded to devour it. It was tasty, hot, and came in a big portion. I ordered the Chorizo-Pollo. Grilled chicken breast with chorizo on top, with rice and beans on the side. Wow, is all I can say. It was succulent, tasty, yummy...and again a huge portion. My wife ordered the Burrito San Jose. It was massive! She could only get about a quarter of it done. We both ended up taking significant portions home. The staff was amazing. Everyone from the host, to our server, to the bussers were very courteous and friendly. There are many Mexican restaurants in Fort Wayne, especially on the north side. Casa Grande might just become our favorite! Can't wait to go back. read more

It had been a few years since I had been to this restaurant and always appreciated the fact that they had a gluten-free menu. I thought it would be a nice treat to take my husband there for lunch on his work break. When we put our names in she told us it would be about 10 minutes. They only had one waitress in the entire restaurant working. The hostess was in and out of the kitchen most of our wait time. We ended up waiting a complete 30 minutes and still we're not seated. We couldn't wait around any longer because my husband needed to get back to work so we just went up the road to salsa grill and got our food immediately. Not the best out there that's for darn sure. Menu is a bit weak and nothing on it like a 3 taco dinner? 3 enchilada ? combination dinner? or a pick 2 pick 3 like other places nope and nope. They have dinners with a variety of stuff on them, but me don't like all that offered on each dinner. Example I only like what I like. I don't want forced to eat other things, I wanna order what I wanna order, but to do it the way you want you'll be spending way to much. To many games on the menu and not enough of what me wants like other places. Food isn't the greatest the taco had some weird cheese piled on it and not very much meat. I want a pick 2 or pick 3 plate like most places do it. This place don't do it. Me want to eat what I want not what they want me to eat. Not very good anyway. Go to Cebolla's Mexican Grill cause me likes them. Oh all kinds of choices and good authentic Mexican food. I get pick 3 there. They don't have it here.
