The food was wonderful and the margaritas were even better. Everything was great. The service the waitress she was very kind and professional. My only complaint is when it was time to leave. I got about halfway from the table to the door and realized I forgot my leftovers so I turned around to go get them and they've already thrown them away. Placed a carry out order. I was not able to safely pick up my order. The waiting room, hostess table and cash register were wall to wall people. It ruined my evening. As a guest for over 4 years now, I felt compelled to say something about my last order. I'm actually going to comment on the portion sizes. I ordered a large cheese dip, a full order of beef and bean nachos, and chicken and steak fajitas to go. The amount of queso I got is about two ramekins full. I paid eight dollars for that... The bean and cheese nachos when served at the restaurant would be enough for both of my children to share and the size is pathetic for the take home. There's like 20 chips in there. Same with the fajitas... $14 for that!! Very disappointed in how they've cut down the portions. We made the best of it, I used the chips that came with the queso to divide up the nachos and add some volume to the meal. Not the best for what we paid. I went here for my birthday, craving Mexican food! Our waiter only checked on us once, and I am very understanding when it comes to servers because I know how hard that this industry can be. With this in mind, however, it wasn't busy. Our server seemed angry the whole time and when we were done and asked for the bill, they NEVER brought it. There wasn't very many customers around us so I'm not sure what the issue was. We waited for close to 40 minutes before we just walked out. First time visit. We were met with prompt courteous service on a clearly busy Saturday evening. Angel was our server and he did an amazing job of answering questions about the menu, taking down some special requests and making suggestions. He also did a fantastic job of making sure our drinks were always topped off and of letting us know how much longer the food would be. She tried it and loved it...a new fave. One of our friends had the Pineapple Paradise. First, amazing presentation! Pretty good Mexican place. We stopped by on a tour bus on our way through the state. Lots of variety in the shopping area where they are located. Place was busy as it was lunch time and we came with a large group. Massive margaritas are offered and we had the 32oz. Very good. Flautas and chimichangas were ordered and were very good. The fake crab meat in mine was a bit off putting but that's probably because I'm used to the real deal down in Louisiana. They were fairly speedy and got our stuff out pretty quick. My family and I went to this restaurant on March 6, 2022. Was overcharged $25. Spoke to 2 managers who both confirmed I would receive my refund on my credit card. Obviously, I did not. It is not easy for me to get out. I placed an order with Casa and as soon as I hit enter, I realized I did not get the delivery. I called call them not a about 20 seconds later and asked the to NOT run the order, I got a response of "it is to late the order was placed, just after getting I don't understand. I said just cancel the order and I will replaced it, which I did this time with delivery. Well I charged for both meals. I call the store to explain what happened and the person that answered dad "I don't understand", call back in 2 hours when manager is in. I called back 3 times and NEVER found a manager or person that could fix my problem. I gave up after 2 weeks of this 'I don't understand so I am out $45.00. We love the food but there is no one that understands English and my Spanish is not that good to help. We went earlier tonight, I ordered the Chipotle Chicken burrito, I asked for NO sour cream... when it came out there was sour cream on it, I asked for it to be remade, and again, they mistakenly put sour cream on it, I asked once again, thinking the third time would be the charm... Ok, well here is the thing, it is americanized Mexican food. Much to my surprise it was actually good. Service here was great, sat in the bar, quick with the standard chips and salsa. Salsa was well seasoned which is good, most in town need more salt. For me an americanized Mexican restaurant can only get a top score of 3 stars because there are at least 4 real authentic places in town that I know of. We love their food, placed for delivery several times (disabled, hard to get around). They use ChowNow for delivery. In all we have ordered about 12 times and every time things were spot on, until now. Somehow, the order (we order the something EVERYTIME) got messed up, so I call them to get corrected. I get the canned answered, we sent what you ordered (but they did not) and I have to call ChowNow to get corrected. For Casa Grande to correct the order, I have to 'bring it back' and they will fix. Sorry, I cannot do that. There is NO customer consideration, no effort to correct and resend, nothing but: we sent what your ordered. Well, I am sorry to say, that was our last order. The food is great but there is NO customer service or loyalty to correct the delivery. I wish there was an option to give half star measurements. This place is clearly deserving of 3.5 stars. I enjoyed my evening in the bar with friends. The host station is visible right upon entrance. I was greeted with a warm smile and offered immediate seating. I respectfully declines, as I was meeting my party in the bar. The bar area is long, not necessarily wide. I make mention of that because the large fresh-made guacamole cart has to be turned slightly askew to fit, allowing still a walkway. Our waitress was efficient and very friendly. Not overbearing, just genuinely nice and helpful. The areas I viewed were clean, tidy, and orderly. The atmosphere was a little dark, but not in an awkward manner. We ordered chips and salsa, margaritas, queso, and chicken wings. All of those items were excellent. My only grip was they had no buffalo sauce, per se, only a homemade version that was not my favorite. The wings were crisp and had a good flavor. The salsa and queso were my faves. Though we live right around the corner, we had never tried Casa Grande until a friend of mine recently posted a picture of the guacamole they made at his table. I have to say the absolute best part of this experience was our waitress. She was The Perfect Waitress. My husband has fried his tongue and loves HOT food and asked if they had a hotter salsa for the chips they serve when you're seated. She said yes and took our orders and disappeared. At first we were wondering where on earth she went - until she came back with a bowl of this bright green mixture. She said they just MADE it for us! He tried it and it was warm from cooking - then HOT for his demanding taste buds! He raved over this custom habanero salsa the entire meal! My enchiladas were great and he had no complaints with his meal - and our waitress kept our drinks filled. There was no awkward lingering and she anticipated all of our needs and was a great communicator. I ordered the churros for dessert (only $3.50!) and they were DELICIOUS. We received four fresh churros, drizzled in caramel, with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, sprinkles, and a cherry! They REALLY hit the spot (and, I have a feeling, will be a new craving)!
