Burrito San Jose added sour cream and cilantro.

I was worried about going here tonight because we have had some bad experiences here in the past. Tonight was a completely different experience! I got the burrito San Jose with a side of sour cream and a side of cilantro. It was amazing!! It was seasoned absolutely perfect! Our server, Gabby, was so friendly and attentive. The food came out fast and correct. It was just so good!! Husband enjoyed his as well.

This meal isn't bad for lunch. It's on the lunch menu. Food came out hot. Their chips were good with their salsa. I like the meal better with chicken than beef. I would recommend the meal with their chicken if you're going for the flavor. Comes with rice. The service may need some improvements. Otherwise, it is a good spot to eat on a budget. Look for price changes too.

My favorite Mexican place in Fort Wayne. I love the mixed meat fajitas. I also adore the white sauce that you can get with the chips. It isn't the queso. It is a unique sauce I have never had at another restaurant. I mix it with the salsa but love it alone too. They are always kind when they serve us.

Placed a carry out order. I was not able to safely pick up my order. The waiting room, hostess table and cash register were wall to wall people. It ruined my evening. It was scary to be walked in like a concert venue during the pandemic. For the health risk, the food wasn't good enough. The whole point of carry out was to avoid crowds and people. Ugh.

Insanely good! Got this beautiful burrito to go today! Came with a huge bag of chips, salsa and their season sour cream! Wow

We had a late dinner here. I was not impressed. I ordered the chirizo quesadillas. It looked like soft tacos with not so much flavor in the meat. The waitress didn't give us sliverware, so we waved her down while our food sat there getting cold. We were never offered refills on our drinks. The chips and salsa were not good. The queso dip was nasty. I tried it once and frankly will not give it another chance. Yuck! Needless to say I am usually a fan of Mexican food, but was disappointed with the service, and taste of the food. Would not recommend!

    FULL order of nachos.

As a guest for over 4 years now, I felt compelled to say something about my last order. I'm actually going to comment on the portion sizes. I ordered a large cheese dip, a full order of beef and bean nachos, and chicken and steak fajitas to go. The amount of queso I got is about two ramekins full. I paid eight dollars for that... The bean and cheese nachos when served at the restaurant would be enough for both of my children to share and the size is pathetic for the take home. There's like 20 chips in there. Same with the fajitas... $14 for that!! Very disappointed in how they've cut down the portions. We made the best of it, I used the chips that came with the queso to divide up the nachos and add some volume to the meal. Not the best for what we paid. I'm not sure what's going on at this restaurant, but it seems to be getting worse every time we go.

First time visit. We were met with prompt courteous service on a clearly busy Saturday evening. Angel was our server and he did an amazing job of answering questions about the menu, taking down some special requests and making suggestions. He also did a fantastic job of making sure our drinks were always topped off and of letting us know how much longer the food would be. He truly anticipated our needs which only comes with paying attention to your tables. What a great server. Plenty of other servers so I don't think any table waited for anything. The food was terrific. Very hard to find good Tacos al Pastore but, their's were terrific!! My wife had the Alambre Especial. Had never seen that on any other menus. She tried it and loved it...a new fave. One of our friends had the Pineapple Paradise. First, amazing presentation! Shrimp, scallops, mushrooms, peppers, pineapples, and other grilled items all in a hollowed our pineapple. They loved it. Good portion sizes at very reasonable prices. Good atmosphere with several TVs in the background. Clean table area. Clean restrooms. We'll be back again (and asking for Angel).

I took a quick look at the Yelp reviews and decided to order carry out for lunch. I ordered a chimichanga with tofu, and a side of queso blanco. The rice was flavorful but the beans were very salty. There are many vegetarian options here, more than most Mexican restaurants. The patio is large and beautiful. There were many people taking advantage of this warm and sunny early spring afternoon dining on the patio. The patio features approximately 20 tables, including several larger tables. Our waitress was friendly and prompt with checking on us before and after we ordered, and we were quickly settled in while waiting for our meals. I haven't had a lot of experience with Mexican cuisine, but I love birria and wanted to try that here; as for my boyfriend, he got a chimichanga. This is easily one of the top Mexican joints in all of Fort Wayne. It's a huge restaurant that was surprisingly dead for lunch, granted it was a Monday. It's a nicely decorated place, the service was friendly and really fast (food was out in less than 10 minutes), and the food was simply awesome. Their chips and salsa are outstanding... I could literally drink the salsa. You get a ton of food for the lunch portion (way too much to eat in one setting), so I can only imagine the size of their dinner portions. $30 for lunch (2 people) is a steal in today's restaurant price-gouging times. Wow, very nice and also delicious. Their menu is amazing. Wide array of Mexican seafood dishes. They also have some non seafood options if needed. But when you see a seafood heavy menu at a restaurant, you *really* should get it. I focused on their new menu of shrimp dishes. They included head-on shrimp, in the shells. I wasn't sure I wanted to work for my meal and get messy. But damn, that Camarones al Cilantro (shrimp with cilantro) looked fantastic. I hemmed and hawed and decided I would order it along with some guacamole to get some vegetable material in me. When it came it was piping hot. Couldn't eat it, so focused on the guac for a bit. As the shrimp cooled I went to town on what may have been the messiest meal of my life. (Do NOT order unpeeled shrimp if you are on a first date or a job interview) Let me tell you - these shrimp were unbelievable. They were swimming in sauce and as I peeled them, i then dipped and chowed. The cilantro/chili/garlic? sauce was off the charts good. The onions and cucumber buried within it were also a nice discovery as I made my way through this mountain of a full pound of shrimp. It took a while and the sauce dripped down to my elbows at times. It was a caveman eating experience and it was probably the best Mexican dish I have ever eaten. It was probably a good thing I was eating alone. I don't see any other way to eat this unless you're a psychopath crunching through shrimp shells. But leaving those shells on keeps the shrimp moist as they cook and more importantly it keeps the shrimp flavor from cooking off into the sauce. Shrimp with the shell on do taste better - they are not just being lazy here. This meal was great and I would love to go back if I'm driving through again. Thank you for this!

I ordered two asada tacos and two cabeza tacos, and let me tell you... they were so good. They came out piping hot with grilled onions on the side, which was the perfect finishing touch. Both tacos were packed with meat. The asada was incredibly tender with those slightly crispy edges from the grill that added so much flavor. The cabeza was just as impressive. It was unbelievably soft and almost melted in your mouth. Add a little salsa, a bite of the grilled onions, and everything came together perfectly. The onions added just enough sweetness to balance the savory meat, making every bite even better. This is exactly the kind of taco spot I love finding. Definitely I'll be coming back.
