    The food truck!
    Shannon L.

Food: 10/10 I visited El Rey Del Taco at the Lake Worth location a couple of years ago and enjoyed their food. I decided to go back this past weekend but realized they moved to Greenacres which wasn't too far away. When I got to the Greenacres location, I decided to order from the food truck. They do have an inside area as well. I wanted to get something different and that I've never tried before so I ordered a beef tongue taco, a beef head taco, and a steak quesadilla . Surprisingly, I enjoyed the beef head taco the most! The beef head was very moist and very soft and I would definitely get it again. All the food was delicious and definitely made fresh. I've always been a fan of their tacos and I can't wait to get them again. I would definitely recommends this place!

This is our go to spot right before we go Bowling. Have a drink and a few tacos. They are always very quick with service and food comes out pretty fast. It's hardly ever really busy in there so you don't feel like you're fighting the crowd. The drinks , especially the margaritas are well made. I love their hot sauces. I always get the Steak Tacos but Hubby had the chicken and chorizo's before and liked it very much. The restaurant is always clean and so are the bathrooms. People are friendly and food is good. You'll find a lot of regulars in there.

I prayed and prayed and finally I found my go-to taco spot. This place blows every other taco place in a 30 mile radius clean out of the water. Wow! I was born in Mexico and give this place my full endorsement. And it goes beyond tacos because today I also had a top-quality caldo de res (beef soup). Then to top it off they have an amazing full bar full of Mexican classics executed as authentically as I've seen this side of the Gulf of Mexico. excellent! The micheladas are A+++ The 5-star is because the prices are reasonable and the service is exceptional. Luisa made sure I was taken care of through the night. At the bar the gentleman was great and attentive. And today sitting in the dining area the combo of lovely servers were very friendly, quick, and attentive. The caldo de res tastes homemade and with fresh made tortillas, tender beef, and all the condiments a proper Mexican caldo should have, it made my day. Then I had a few steak and carnitas tacos and I will go ahead and say they were the best tacos I've had in FL this year. They each deserved an award! Bravo to the kitchen, those guys and gals know what they're doing. I'm hooked Price is fair, food is outstanding and fresh, service is lovely. I am so lucky I found this place. Bonus is they have good Latin music! They also have agua fresca!!! Cant wait to come back.

Service was 10/10. The food was AMAZING. I didn't take a picture of the table guac but it was delicious!! Definitely will be returning.

I haven't met a taco here I didn't like. This has become my new taco Tuesday spot. Queso is on point and so are the natural juices.

I ate here on a Friday night and the ambiance was nice as they had live music. We were quickly seated and our server came right away. The food came out extremely quick - maybe 5 minutes after ordering. The food and drinks were okay. I got a michelada with Topo Chicho instead of beer. It tasted flat and watered down. The cantaloupe agua fresca was delicious, though (not pictured). The food was decent but nothing special.

I'm always on the hunt for great tacos and was so happy this place opened close-ish to my house. The staff is super nice from the moment you walk in to taking your order. Carne asada tacos are my favorite and the homemade green sauce is lifeeee! A long day at work can quickly be remedied by visit to Rey del Taco.

Nice and spacious location on Lake Worth Rd; they interior is roomy, not fancy, but well kept. They are often busy, not crazy busy, but there are several patrons any day, especially in the 5-8 pm slot. Good happy hours and specials depending on the day (Tuesday, for instance, is $ 2/tacos). We like to sit at the bar and enjoy a few cold ones (for different beers than the classic Corona, try the Victoria or the Pacifico) with some tacos. We also tried the quesadilla and a few other dishes: while the dishes are the classic American-Mexican offerings, they are well done and cared for. Among the tacos, I like the carne asada (grilled meat) and also the barbacoa (BBQ), while I had better "al pastor" elsewhere (but we are often in Miami). By no means is the Al Pastor bad, mind you, but the meat is a bit chewy, more than I care for. They will bring you chips and a nice salsa, thick, a bit spicy, not very reasonable, as soon as you sit down. The service is good, always; not over the top, they give you some space, but attentive. All in all, good people, they care about what they do, you can tell, and the food is well priced and pretty good compared to many other similar PBC locations.

The restaurant is spacious, nicely decorated and has always Mexican music in the background. The prices are reasonable and the portions are pretty big, but we normally like to come here for their Happy Hours, when you can get discounted drinks and food depending on the day. If you enjoy different cuisines, you should try their "exotic" tacos with pork stomach, or cecina, or beef tripe (or tongue, or head) or cactus; and while you're waiting you can enjoy an imported beer with the tortillas that they bring you along with a homemade sauce. The service can be slow sometimes, but the staff is always very attentive. If you go there for dinner, you may also chat with the owner, who likes meeting his customers. One last thing: please do not forget to ring the bell by the door when you exit the restaurant! By doing so, you are telling them that you enjoyed your meal.

Tacos are my favorite food and although I'm not Mexican, I will say I have a picky palette when it comes to them. I started going to El Rey Del Taco when they only had a food truck on lake worth but have since followed the business after they opened up their business in a restaurant. This definitely allowed me to enjoy the food even more because the restaurant is an experience. They play good music, at times have a mariachi and on Thursdays you can karaoke. The bar is beautiful and I love the art work on the dishes. From the plates, to the cups, it's very unique. I've never had to wait to be seated and I tend to come on different days and different times. I would also recommend the chicken gordita, super tasty! If you want a good alcoholic Mexican drink order yourself a Cantarito. You won't be disappointed. The ambience of this restaurant makes you want to come with family and friends. Aside from the attentive service, the delicious food and the karaoke nights, they also offer ample amount of parking. I always recommend this restaurant when someone wants to go somewhere for authentic Mexican food.

If you're looking for good authentic Mexican restaurant . El Rey is the place . And the food is amazing . They have a live singer on thursday nights . I was told of this place by a coworker and my husband and I enjoyed it . And the inside of the restaurant feels like you're in Mexico .

We ordered a few cocktails, the El Segundo Classico, a classic margarita, and the Oaxaca Peach Old Fashioned made of blanco tequila and a bit of mezcal, very refreshing to start off with. Our servers recommended a few different menu items. The Pimento Cheese Elote Dip small plate was delicious. We then moved on to the tacos - the Brisket Burnt Ends, the Chicharron Ceviche, and the Cali Fish (my favorite). The Cali Fish was nicely fried and just a bit of heat and slightly sweet slaw. Also tried the Birria Tacos and the Burrito, both great. We loved sitting outside in front of the restaurant. There are few artist studios across the parking lot. I thought El Segundo was a solid 4.5/5.

El Segundo has ample indoor and outdoor seating. Though slammed, I sat at the bar and met Connor. His beer "is so cold, your teeth will hurt." That statement is a sign on Isla Majure. The menu is awesome. Prices are great. It was tough to finish my blackened chicken burrito! Deliciosa!!! But what makes this place vibe is the young staff. They rock! And they got each other's 6. I witnessed this as Sam was pouring one of their famous margaritas. As she was close to empty with her container, Connor does a stealthy maneuver and slips in another container for her. Sam did not miss a beat because of Connor. Everyone and I mean everyone connects. It is worth your time. Enjoy the local art too.
