Four of us came for dinner on a Saturday night. There was plenty of free parking in front. Reservations aren't accepted; we were able to get a comfortable booth indoors. The menu was a large book with some photographs & the usual Mexican choices, vegetarian and also American options. We enjoyed warm tortilla chips and salsa's with different heat while perusing the menu. The mariachi guitar player stopped at our table, he was very loud. Our waitress came quickly to our table & our meals were delivered very quickly. We all started with frozen margaritas that came in a huge fishbowl of a glass. I ordered the enchilada plate with mole, rice and beans. My husband ordered a taco salad that came without a shell. Friends enjoyed their Torero's special salad and burritos.

We had dinner with friends. There is plenty of parking and note that they do not take reservations. We had warm chips with salsa and our drinks. I enjoyed their frozen mango margarita. Nice sized glass as well. My taco salad came without taco shell. This was a first. Whenever I have ordered a taco salad previously anywhere, the shell was included. We ate here a few years ago and the food was more tasty. Hence the 3 rating.

After my initial review, I've decided to give this place another chance because my wife loves it so much. Glad I did because this place actually does have great food and service. Their rice and beans are one of my favorites here, but most of their menu items are actually good and also plentiful. Ambience is your typical Tex-Mex theme with lots of wood furniture. My go-to dish is their Tacos Al Carbon, you can choose between steak, pork, shrimp or chicken and can even mix and match. The steak typically needs salt but my favorite is the shrimp, super plump and you can taste the sear. Would certainly recommend this place!

We love this place!!! It such a hidden Gem! The servers are always pleasant. I LOVE Karla! The Platos Grandos are excellent! So much food but easily shareable! This is go to spot for us. We LOVE the skinny margaritas! (Although they are super pricey @$17.00 but worth it!) The salsa and chips they bring to the table to start us amazing! Such a prefect way to start a meal! I really love the carne asado tacos!

This might just be the most authentic and high-quality Mexican Soul Food you'll find in the Boynton Beach/Lake Worth area. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly well-trained, creating a warm and welcoming dining experience. The booths are a personal favorite -- not only are they comfortable, but the tall backs also provide a nice sense of privacy, which adds to the cozy atmosphere. As soon as you're seated, you're served fresh chips and salsa along with your drinks. The salsa stands out for its freshness and flavor, with just the right touch of heat to wake up your taste buds. The food overall is excellent. While the nachos with shredded chicken could use a little refinement, the quesadillas, choriqueso, and tacos are consistently delicious -- well-prepared, packed with flavor, and accompanied by perfectly cooked rice and beans that always hit the mark. Portion sizes are generous, and the pricing is very reasonable for the amount of food you receive. Expect to leave with leftovers -- a bonus for anyone who enjoys a second helping later. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quick, friendly service and satisfying, flavorful comfort food. It's a gem in the area!!

Very nice! I read a few reviews on this place and gave it a try. It's ins shopping mall on Lake Worth Road just east of the Turnpike. Really nice Mexican decor. Cool booths. The servings are ridiculous. Large! I always judge a Mexican restaurant by the horchata juice. Lol. It was all right. I tried the chicken enchiladas. It's served with two enchiladas. Rice, refried beans and Sour cream. My husband had the chicken fajita. The chicken was a little crispy but the flavor was great. We'll definitely be back. I'm looking forward to bringing my girls here.

Torero's is a family staple! My sisters and I dine here frequently when I'm in town. This time, we ordered takeout. We had a pretty complicated order that was large and included a lot of modifications. The order was correct and the food tasted great. I always order the chicken rice bowl and it's always consistent. The portion sizes are also really big. Overall, I have nothing but great things to say about Torero's!

    Seafood Enchiladas, excellent!

Like I said in my last review, even I was disappointed the last time we were there, this time it was perfect! My wife ordered the seafood enchiladas and I ordered a Mexican surf and turf, both plates were excellent. Carla was our server and she was great like the last time she served us! The ambiance was nice and relaxing. Keep up the great work, Torero's!

I love Mexican food and torero's has some of the best. It is a small restaurant in a mall in Lake Worth. Parking is easy. The waitress was very friendly and we had quick service. Their margaritas actually had alcohol in them; they were delicious. If I were you I would try it.

The food was absolutely incredible. Between the 5 of us, we got 2 burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, and tacos. Everything was extremely tasty. The sauces were all super flavorful, the meats were juicy, and the rice and beans were great additions to the meals. Also the chips are freshly made and come with tasty salsas. This is a great spot for authentic Mexican food. The portions are also huge. The place is very spacious and well decorated too. Next time, I would dine in!

The interior decor may have changed but my opinion of this place hasn't. The decor is tex-mex cute and colorful. The service was friendly but absolutely clueless. The food was reasonably priced for portion size but the quality was really low. We enjoyed the complimentary basket of fried flour tortilla chips and the salsa was basic but okay. The Carne Asada Nacho platter was disappointing in the ingredients. It was supposed to have guacamole on it but it was more of an avocado cream and very liquidy. The asada meat was seasoned well but it was chewy in a bad way. The chicken burrito was heavy but full of too much rice and it was lacking seasoning. The Tamale Platter was nice and freshly made. The rice and beans on the side was not housemade but from a can. I think the new owners are trying to cut too many corners and will not get repeat customers. There was just nothing special about anything at this place and even their only hot sauce that can be added for some heat to the meal is a watered down green tomatillo mild sauce or a red pepper mild sauce which both are served in a cold squirt bottle unless you pay almost $2 for a small roasted jalapeño. I will pass on a return visit and look for new authentic Mexican fare.

We then moved on to the tacos - the Brisket Burnt Ends, the Chicharron Ceviche, and the Cali Fish (my favorite). The Cali Fish was nicely fried and just a bit of heat and slightly sweet slaw.
