They also have outdoor seating which was really nice for today. The salsa bar made a great addition to our chips and tacos. They have about five different kinds of salsa ranging from mild to super hot. They are located at 4016 Battleground Avenue near the intersection of Battleground and Horse Pen Creek Road.

It's a more beachy themed casual burrito joint in the vein of a Moe's or Chipotle. I'd say after my experience that it kind of slots in the middle, not as pricey as a Chipotle, maybe a bit more so than Moe's, but better flavors. When I went yesterday the staff was friendly and attentive, even engaging with customers that already had their food a bit. Order was taken, prepared, and paid for quickly and the restaurant was very clean. Hard to ask for more from the staff. I ordered an Aloha burrito with pork as my protein, and had it prepped pretty much exactly as it is described on the menu, but also added some corn and fresh jalapenos for a kick. Came with chips which were good and fresh, and sauntered up to the salsa bar. The winner on the salsa bar was the chipotle salsa for sure. The salsa verde was very bland, and the medium pineapple salsa verde thing... actually had turned. You could see bubbles in the salsa, and upon tasting, it was fermenting! As pineapple tends to do if you let the acids work. Anyhow, the burrito was aligned with my expectation. Pretty tasty, but nothing that would have me raving about it. Some of the ingredients couldn't be tasted at all, others like the pineapple slaw stood out as flavorful. The pork itself, was both moist and dry. You know, that texture when shredded pork sits in it's juices for too long, like a crock pot. I would definitely choose a different protein next time, maybe the fish. Overall, an ordinary, but solid experience. I don't see myself making a special trip, but wouldn't turn it down if someone wanted to go there.

Update for our 2026 annual visit:…read more We ate in this year and the service and ambiance matched the quality of the food we had last year. I have been looking forward to the World Ninja Championships so that I can eat here again and the team did not disappoint. I had the special, chilaquiles supreme and YES! Flank steak butterflied and so tender that I cut through it easily with a butter knife. They make the chips fresh for each order of chilaquiles and you can taste it. Generous amounts of every flavor that went into the meal and I left stuffed! Hands down, my favorite place and I have a feeling we are making a second trip here this year for sure! First impression as you walk in, or look at images of the menu: AUTHENTIC! First impressions when you bite into your food: They nailed the first impression! I had the lingua, tripa, pez, and Pastor tacos. My family had the California burrito, chicken and beef tacos, and the Enchiladas Mexicanos with mole and salsa verde. We also added a side of guac and chips. Guac: thin mixed avocado and perfectly sized chunks mixed in with the tomato and seasonings. An absolute must! The 4 tacos I ate were succulent to say the least. The tripa was thin and crispy, but you could taste the rendered fat in them. It had the texture of perfectly cooked bacon. Al pastor is one of my favorites and this one did not disappoint. Then there was the pez taco that was just the right amount of crispy without being an iota overcooked. At last I ate the lingua taco. It melted in my mouth and I immediately wanted another. I don't even like mole sauce, but I couldn't stop eating the mole enchilada. Aces, hands down. The California burrito was phenomenal and had the perfect amount of each ingredient and a delectable amount of heat and sweet cream sauce. The chicken was obviously hand shredded and had equal amounts of larger chunks of meat and thin pulled pieces to soak up all the flavor in endless nooks and crannies. If you have not been here please do your palate a flavor and stop in. The value far exceeded the price of our meals and we plan on coming here every year when the World Ninia finals rome to town

I left feeling singled out because of my appearance, and the lack of accountability was disappointing. I don't need special treatment, just for my food to be made correctly when I'm spending my money. I hope this establishment does better.

Brittani and I split the nachos, which showed up piled high like they had something to prove. Every bite delivered--fresh, loaded, and just messy enough to remind you you're doing something right with your life. The whole process is beautifully simple: order at the counter, sit down, and your food arrives so fast you start wondering if they were already making it just in case you walked in. No nonsense, no waiting around pretending to check your phone--just tacos doing their job. Shoutout to the staff for being genuinely friendly and for the extra chips assist. That's the kind of foresight usually reserved for chess players and grandmothers. And the price? Honestly refreshing. In today's world, walking out feeling full and not financially attacked is its own kind of luxury. First visit was a strong one. Taco Mama clearly understands the assignment--and extra credit.

The restaurant was not super packed so my order didn't take too long. When I got to my office, the bag that I assumed was chips was just queso. So I was not given chips. Initially, I thought chips must've been sold separately but I confirmed on my ticket that chips should've been on the side so I gave them a quick call. I spoke to Alan who was able to pull up my order and apologized and his resolve for my inconvenience was pretty amazing. Since my break room had an alternative for chips, I was still able to eat. The chorizo was so good and it had a little heat to it which paired nicely with the queso, guacamole and cilantro lime rice that I got. Lastly, the portion size is enough for 2 meals possibly 3 if I don't share.
