This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had. First of all, me and my mother order coffee with milk that took us almost 40 minutes to get. And if it wasn't for us getting the attention of another server I don't think it will ever happen. After we got our coffee our first server completely ignored us and we had to get another server entirely. (Coffee was cold even though we got it fresh) Second of all, we were ahead of many people and those people left way before us and even the newer customers had their foods out first. Not one person came to us the whole time again, and again we had to get the attention of another server. We tried giving them the benefit of doubt that maybe they were to busy but that wasn't even the case because people around us were getting served so quick. Third and final point, the food came out quick surprisingly but it was soon as I took out my phone and started writing a review on them is when they finally started to come ask us how are we doing and is there anything we need. In total while we were eating I want to say they stopped by a minimum of 9 times. Where was the urgency then and by the way It was meant with a lot of stares throughout, I kept catching when I looked up. Maybe we we looked mean or something?? I have no idea, we greeted and meant then with smiles and asking how they are! I guess I'll never know. I won't be back here again. Hopefully someone else's experience goes different!

This place has amazing home made tasting food. I have been here about a handful of times full of times, just because it is that great. The juevos perico with fresh orange juice or coffee are my favorites.

Bandeja paisa was the best I've had in recent memory

Dare I say, the Best Colombian Food in town? yes. Here's why. I've been to so many Colombia spots in my years living in FL, and to top it all off I have the pleasure of dating a beautiful Colombian lady for the past few years. So I know good Colombian food. I've never given a 5-star review and "best" to any Colombian place on Yelp so far, but this place takes the cake. Talk about the definition of a 5-star experience. First food is extraordinary and delicious, homemade, well prepared, clearly the kitchen is full of ppl who know what they're doing and do it at a high level. The sancocho de gallina (chicken stew) blew my mind, it literally cannot have had more flavor packed into it. No artificial flavoring or shortcuts. This sancocho was made with love x10 The bandeja paisa was the best I've had for as long as I can remember. Every item on the plate was fighting to be the star. The skirt steak, excellent and succulent. The sausage was Smokey and has a perfect kick, the chicharrón was tender and juicy, the beans also gave so me so much nostalgia because it was such a home style flavor. Almost wanted to check the kitchen to make sure my mom wasn't back there! The egg, cooked perfectly. The juices were fresh, the salsa (or aji is how they call it here) was jaw-dropping (and I'm Mexican). I mean I can go on and on. This place is the place for Colombian food! Service was also above average. Our server (nice young lady with pink framed glasses) was friendly and informative and very attentive. I cannot wait to come back, and if any of my friends fly in from out of state I know where to take them.

The worst service! I called so many times I had to drive and wait for the food. I asked them if their phone was out of order they said that if they are busy they will prioritize the tables then answer the phones. It was very disappointing to hear that. I honestly don't like to come but is the only close by Spanish restaurant that has soup my parents like. It is what it is but the service is horrible. I don't like to give bad reviews but is just not the first time I had issues with this place. Hopefully their service gets better and the attitude of the workers changes. Also asked for something that is not what I asked for at all. I explained how I wanted it and still got it wrong.

First I need to apologize because I accidentally put my review in the wrong place and gave them a bad review. I am SO sorry and your restaurant is one of my top new favorites. We found it by accident. From the second we stepped in we were treated so well with accommodations on seating to explaining the menu. It is so good we went back in the same week! The food is phenomenal and priced fairly both times I got the bendega paisa (spell?) Once with steak and another time with ground beef. Both times were AMAZING and even better there were leftovers. My boyfriend was equally thrilled. If you're at all debating this place just go. It's amazing and you will totally love it!!

We came for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, their lunch specials are only offered during the week. There was a bit of a language problem. Our server spoke no English. Our Spanish was much better. Even so, she still didn't get the order correctly or didn't tell the kitchen correctly. We both just got their steak sandwiches -- pan con bistec. My husband asked for his without lechuga (lettuce) and queso (cheese); I had mine without onions (cebolla). The tomatoes weren't ripe and they left off the onions on my husband's sandwich, as well. We explained this to another server and she brought a plate of onions for him to add. We substituted maduros (sweet fried plantains) instead of French fries. They were served cold (!) surprisingly. So it wasn't the best lunch. I suppose if we'd ordered one of their larger plate meals, it would have been better. They come with two and three sides, but we really didn't want such a large lunch. We've been to their two other - we think related -- restaurants and loved it. Here not so much. But I'm glad we came, now we know.

This place was pretty good- music was nice although a bit on the loud side. Many tables were wobbly, we chose the most solid table at the corner of the restaurant We have never experienced being served by so people in one restaurant (5people?) I guess it was good team work! Being that there were only 3 tables were occupied, our food took a little longer than one would expect The food - we both were satisfied with the food, not blown away, satisfied. Seemed like the food lacked .....a little love but we were happy to eat Colombian food as we don't have a restaurant close by home.

The time we arrived, there was a large party going on, so we pondered if the service would be slow, we decided to stay, food was good service was a bit slow as anticipated. Will try again when it's not so crowded. Food was runny and service with a smile

Mondongo with passion fruit juice made in milk it was superb.

They have menus -- unlike some other person said in a previous review. They have lots of menus in Spanish and one laminated one in English. Make sure you ask about their specials. They have a special soup of the day and a special "complete" lunch/meal of the day. My husband started with a beef empanada. It was packed with meat. I thought it was a little dry, but he added hot sauce and said it was fine with the salsa. He also got a side of sweet plantains. I ordered the chuleta lunch special and asked for an extra plate to share some of it with my husband. It came with fluffy white rice, sweet plantains, and a little salad. I expected more of a fried standard pork chop, but the pork was more the flavor and texture of ham. It was very good, however. We both really liked our experience here. Prices are quite reasonable. The service was good and friendly. It helps to have a bit of Spanglish, but don't worry. You'll feel comfortable no matter what.

We had been to this location before when it was a different Latin restaurant. It's in the shopping center near the World Famous eggroll restaurant. There's plenty of free parking in the lot out front. I ordered the chicken with mushroom sauce. It came with white rice, salad, and a side of fries. The sauce was delicious on the grilled chicken breast meat. I wound up taking half of my meal home for dinner. My husband loves passion fruit. So when I told him this restaurant had several dishes with this fruit sauce, he was excited. He got the chicken with passion fruit (maracuya). His plate also had sweet plantains as well as rice and salad. For dessert, he got their passion fruit mousse, of course. And I tried their creamy rice pudding. I really liked it with its cinnamon sprinkled top. We were both very happy campers. I'm sure we will be back to try more of their Colombian menu.
