Attending to costumer faster. I waited 20 min after I was seated to be asked for my order. Not because there was lack of employees. There were just passing by and not acknowledging out table. Until ai finally signed someone. Our sancocho de cola was really good, but the meat was served separately with rice and patacones 20 min after I had already ate the soup. It was cold and the presentation wasn't the best. It looked like the had heating up in the microwave and then added the sauce on top warm. Meat was ice cold inside . Me and my husband couldn't eaten, not we wanted to be replaced. It was just not appealing. I am not saying that it isn't a nice place to eat. Everyone was very nice and put together. This Colombian spot has been in the neighborhood for as long as I can remember, and it's consistently good. I'm not usually into Colombian food, but the Bandeja Paisa here is always solid. The food comes out hot and full of flavor. Service is excellent--every staff member knows what they're doing and makes the place look great. A quick and delicious meal that never misses! My brother always offers this portion pick up after a hectic time, it's big enough to feed two hungry adults. You can call ahead for pick up or enjoy the colorful vibes. Service is quick and pleasant, the ladies there are always on the go at the counter and with the clients. Today I tried their avena drink which was a fun reminder to churned milkshake made from oatmeal, its lightly sweetened. First time here. My uncle truly knows the spots for a great lunch around Southern Florida so I trusted him this place was going to be it, and it sure did not disappoint. They have a great variety of choices for lunch specials, we specifically had the "Cantina". Everything we had during this visit was tasty and delightful. It was as if I was back in the motherland The service is very prompt and courteous, making you feel right at home. The restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean making for a great atmosphere. We had a great lunch here. Thanks to our fellow Yelpers for their reviews or we never would have found this restaurant. It's set back off the road in a shopping center with other Spanish/Latin businesses. The large menu had many appealing items, but the baby churrasco caught my eye immediately. Btw, it helps to speak at least a bit of Spanish here. We both ordered the steak but with different sides. I got red beans and French fries; sweet plantains came with it. And he got white rice and beans. The plate also included a small piece of ripe avocado. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered. And there were two large pieces in each order -- enough leftover each for another meal. They brought chimichurri and hot sauces to add as we wished. Service was good. Prices were quite reasonable for the quality/quantity. We will definitely be back to try more of their offerings -- if I can just get past their churrasco steak! read more

Lemons for our empanadas arrived once we were five with them; cream and capers were brought once we were done with the ajiaco. Sweet plantains were never brought with our dishes... Our server didn't deliver a good service at all; after asking several times for what we were missing and getting "yes, I will be right back with it" and NEVER brought to the table, we were done!!! First time here, disappointed with food and service . How can't you not have avocados (in Florida!!!) Bad service, never came to see how everything is going, and my husband ordered something and they never came with it or said none available. I give them 2 stars for the yuca fries... but unfortunately we will not come back. I think owner / manager should be present to see how everything is going. My family are previous restaurant owners and know what it takes to run a successful business, customer service and availability is number 1! This is hands down my FAVORITE and go-to spot in the West Palm Beach area. Home style cooking, great prices and portions. I hate to admit I can easily come here 2-3 times a week. (I need to calm down). But their daily specials and regular menu items are great! The beef empanadas are my usual appetizer with a fruit milk shake. And then I go right for the main course. Great little skirt steak and lovely (complementary) guac and chips. We had one of the cheese bread incarnations and that was also a treat. Same for the passionfruit juice. In contrast, the whole fried red snapper was a bit underwhelming. Seems like a bit of a meeting place for the local Columbian community which is a vote of confidence in the authenticity of the kitchen and makes for interesting people watching. Busy place. So, we went back outside. After one hour wait we get the food. We check the food and no beans with the rice. No emepenadas either. Fuming, I keep my cool and ask where are empanadas ?
