Mary is a real person she's there everyday greeting and serving up legit the best food I've had in a long time!! So far I've had the carne asada burrito which the meat was just straight up perfect! Everything taste fresh! The salsa is fire! Then I had a breakfast burrito with rice eggs potatoes and the sauce they use for the chilli relleno and man! I'm never going anywhere else!! I love good Mexican food! I ordered three tacos so that I could try out their taco menu. I determine a good restaurant on the tacos they sell. If the tacos are good I'll try other things. Each taco was about four -five dollars. I got a chicken, a beef and a pork. The chicken taco is very tasty. The meat is very tender. I ordered it with the green salsa, they give you an ample amount of salsa. It was delicious. I enjoyed it. I really did not enjoy the other two tacos. They were greasy the cook had dipped the tortillas in grease to heat them up. were damp with it. and the beef taco had a strong gamy flavor that was distracting. The meat was chewy not tender. I only took about three bites of it., The pork meat taco was too dry and there was really no flavor other than spicy. The tortilla was pretty oily. I would order chicken anything from them again, that chicken taco was very good.! In the future, I would avoid the beef and pork. The coke was ice cold. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a buffet set up with many different trays of food behind glass at the kitchen front. Some trays looked delicious others looked over heated under the lights. They were a hard pass. Everything was $15 to $19 a plate with rice and beans. Burritos are $15 to 17. The restaurant is pretty simple tables with folding chairs in a big room. This restaurant is delicious!!! The food is authentic!! It's like eating at your grandma's house. The menudo is so good! It's clean and does not smell. The pata is tender. Perfect for a Sunday morning. All of the corn tortillas are made to order and are amazing. The aguas are fresh and quench your thirst. The service is great! I saw that this place had opened up recently and they moved locations from their Ontario location. Located in a newly remodeled plaza, near Aldi. They have a large menu with various soups, I got their menudo ($17) to try which had plenty of tender tripe with hot corn tortillas in a tortilla warmer. The tables had bottles of Valentina and housemade salsa de chile de árbol y aceite. They had various agua frescas such as fresca and melon with some rarer flavors such as guanabana and pepino con yerba-buena. The staff is nice and the place is clean with plenty of seating. They do host parties with an area for a band as well. read more

My family loves this place. We used to go there on the weekends at their old location. Their menudo are very tasty. Kids love their rice and beans with chicken and steak. Their pozole is also really good. Dona Mary and her crew are really attentive and caring. It's definitely a family business. Prices are very good and the restaurant is very clean. Let's start with how expensive it was for breakfast. It looks like buffet style without the unlimited food especially for the price I paid. I ordered chilaquiles which were so soggy!! How can you go wrong with chilaquiles?? It was such a waste. The only thing that was edible was the ranchera meat.. I wish I was watching them serve them, but unfortunately my toddler is a busy body. The other meal was pozole.. now I've never had so such much bone in it before. Like where is the meat? it was like dodging sharpe objects in my pozole and to top it off it wasn't even hot!!!! It was cold!! I had to heat it up at home. I hate to leave a bad review, but I hope this can improve. I was so excited to try the menudo as it looked very good in the picture. I was very disappointed to try the menudo, one of the worst menudos I've tasted. I honestly don't want to leave a bad review but if you're going to purchase a menudo for almost 20 dollars, it should be at least good. I definitely would not recommend. read more

I randomly came across this joint after work and I'm I glad took a flyer on this place. This place has the best Mexican soups and stews. The first time I went there it was a Saturday. They had menudo, pozole, birria ( goat and beef) it was a like bonanza! The Mexican ladies that whip up the food are super nice, she actually let me sample the goat and the beef birria and since I was indecisive. I ended up going with the goat birria, it wasn't gamey at al. if you order it to eat there you they ladle it out in a bowl for you and then they bring out all the fixings like chopped onion cilantro limes. They also have their own house made salsas and hand made tortillas in a tortilla warmer. It was sooo good. I actually went back 2 more times that weekend. I ended up getting the beef birria ( excellent and it doesn't have the bones like the goat). The menudo is super good it's all tripas though there isn't any hominy if you're into that. If they ladies really like you they give you free samples! I got a free tostada and their house made chili crisp. That chili crisp is bomb! It's like a Mexican style Lao Gan Ma! This place does run a bit on the expensive side for a small mom and pop joint. Menudo is $14 , birria is $18 (goat and beef). Pozole is $14 and so is albondigas thats$14 Anyway if you're in Ontario it's a no Brainer this place is bomb! read more

This place happened to be right off my dentist office so I decided to try it out. They serve the foodfast. Expensive sub par mexican food and service is even worse except for the older lady whom may have been the owner. Our Sunday morning tradition is having Mexican breakfast in a local cafe. We have tried so many different places. Last week we happened upon this little restaurant, and found it bright, cheerful and clean inside, with smiling and helpful employees. My menudo was the best I've found locally. It doesn't include hominy, which I would have liked, but the broth was full-flavored and the tripe was tender. My husband had huevos with green chile, which he liked. One of my favorite things about this place is the fresh handmade tortillas, which makes everything extra tasty. On my visit, I really enjoyed the birria de res, patas de puerco, huevos rancheros, rice, tortillas and agua de maracuya. There are plenty of options to choose from the menu for food and drinks, so I'll try something different on my next visit.
