I saw that this place had opened up recently and they moved locations from their Ontario location. Located in a newly remodeled plaza, near Aldi. They have a large menu with various soups, I got their menudo ($17) to try which had plenty of tender tripe with hot corn tortillas in a tortilla warmer. The tables had bottles of Valentina and housemade salsa de chile de árbol y aceite. They had various agua frescas such as fresca and melon with some rarer flavors such as guanabana and pepino con yerba-buena. The staff is nice and the place is clean with plenty of seating. They do host parties with an area for a band as well.

This place continues to be amazing! The owners are so sweet and the food is delicious. Homemade style Mexican food. Adding some photos because I forgot in my original post.

Let's start with how expensive it was for breakfast. It looks like buffet style without the unlimited food especially for the price I paid. I ordered chilaquiles which were so soggy!! How can you go wrong with chilaquiles?? It was such a waste. The only thing that was edible was the ranchera meat.. I wish I was watching them serve them, but unfortunately my toddler is a busy body. The other meal was pozole.. now I've never had so such much bone in it before. Like where is the meat? it was like dodging sharpe objects in my pozole and to top it off it wasn't even hot!!!! It was cold!! I had to heat it up at home. I hate to leave a bad review, but I hope this can improve. Overall the people there were ok, but come on now.. would they eat cold food or soggy chilaquiles? Let's do better!

Great service and quality food! You can taste the originality of each meal. Ordered Menudo to go, it came with its sides and home made tortillas. Quesabirrias are huge with plenty of filling and it also comes with its sides (cilantro, onion, lime, hot sauce). There's a variety for all to enjoy meals and drinks!- this place won't disappoint. I'll be back for more :)

I would go to the old location off of Euclid. You want quality menudo, great service and good home made style Mexican food.....this is the spot. Doña Mary gave me her personal number and kept me updated when the new location would open. Definitely worth following them!

I was so excited to try the menudo as it looked very good in the picture. I was very disappointed to try the menudo, one of the worst menudos I've tasted. I honestly don't want to leave a bad review but if you're going to purchase a menudo for almost 20 dollars, it should be at least good. I definitely would not recommend.

I randomly came across this joint after work and I'm I glad took a flyer on this place. This place has the best Mexican soups and stews. The first time I went there it was a Saturday. They had menudo, pozole, birria ( goat and beef) it was a like bonanza! The Mexican ladies that whip up the food are super nice, she actually let me sample the goat and the beef birria and since I was indecisive. I ended up going with the goat birria, it wasn't gamey at al. if you order it to eat there you they ladle it out in a bowl for you and then they bring out all the fixings like chopped onion cilantro limes. They also have their own house made salsas and hand made tortillas in a tortilla warmer. It was sooo good. I actually went back 2 more times that weekend. I ended up getting the beef birria ( excellent and it doesn't have the bones like the goat). The menudo is super good it's all tripas though there isn't any hominy if you're into that. If they ladies really like you they give you free samples! I got a free tostada and their house made chili crisp. That chili crisp is bomb! It's like a Mexican style Lao Gan Ma! This place does run a bit on the expensive side for a small mom and pop joint. Menudo is $14 , birria is $18 (goat and beef). Pozole is $14 and so is albondigas thats$14 Anyway if you're in Ontario it's a no Brainer this place is bomb!

    Lots of meat

I'm actually a menudo snob and i tried this place out for the first time and it was actually really good. Meat was so tender and the broth was just right ! It's a bit expensive but it was worth it

Local Mexican food - nice variety of selection to pick from! All the meats are on display to get as a burrito, taco or plate with beans and rice. Customer service is excellent. 10/10 recommend this place.

I was hoping they would have a Taco Tuesday special or something but they don't... I ordered 2 carne asada and 1 al pastor tacos to go. They were prettty solid and delicious! Carne asada was really nice, the al pastor was definitely more flavorful, but it had more of the burnt ends, so it was either even more flavorful from the charred parts, or it was a bit hard and too crispy to have. Overall, still pretty nice though. I liked how they had the side bar, which it doesn't look entirely the cleanest, but pretty decent. Total for 3 tacos came out to be $9, so it's about $3 each. Kinda high for tacos imo, but they're pretty good.

Parking is limited, so we were happy to snag one of the last spots. This is an order-at-the-counter spot with a salsa bar, hot beans, indoor and outdoor seating, and even Mexican Coke. Indoor seating is also pretty limited, so my friend and I were glad to grab one of the small tables. I ordered the lengua and asada tacos and both were flavorful, tender, and loaded with meat. I was honestly too hungry and eager to take a picture beforehand, but I can assure you the portions are plentiful. The tacos were a little greasy, but still really satisfying. Solid taco spot if you're in Pomona.

Joanna from the second we walked in, made us feel like family. The server was attentive without being overbearing and had great recommendations for the menu. Unfortunately, we did have to wait around 30-40 minutes for the buffet to be ready.. we were served mimosas right away, which was nice. Now.. when it came down to the food, one person in my party did find a vey long hair in her chile relllenos. We made it know to our waitress.. which was a sweet person throughout everything!! Then we were told that the chilaquiles and taco station was now open.. so we headed down to it. There was no one to great us at the station. We stood around for around 10 minutes and no one showed up. So at that moment I grabbed a bowel of menudo. Lucky me!! I also grabbed a long hair in my menudo.. my sister in law thought it was a piece of onion but it was not! It was a very long strand of hair. At that point we all tried our best to make the best of it and enjoy the mariachi and mimosas. Then when I returned to the taco/chilaquile station the lady was very rude!! She bluntly asked what we wanted instead of telling us our options.. and I said I'll have 2 chorizo tacos please.. she said where's your plate?? I wasn't aware that I had to give her a plate to serve me. It was an overall horrible experience. Especially because we were literally the only party in the entire place besides the mariachi. The mariachi and our server were the only pleasant people that morning. I will never be returning.

The outside of the establishment may not be entirely appealing, but what awaits within is sure to warm your heart. Eating their food feels like an ode from the heart. It is reminiscent of pulling off to the side of the road to a Mariscos food truck in Tijuana. The food is comforting and reminds you of how Hispanic culture brings people together through food and music. All the staff here is very kind and have a lively spirit. As you are enjoying your food it is warming to hear them laughing, enjoying each other's company, and Bad Bunny music of course. I had the Tostada Mixta pictured below and believe it or not I had already dug in and eaten a whole tostada by the time I remembered to snap a pic. The portions are very generous and for the price, can't be beat! The Tacos de Camaron are flavor packed with every bite. These are freshly cooked to order and you can tell by the temperature, be careful. I can't describe them to anything else I have had in the past as they are so unique in the best way. Not pictured is the aguachiles. As spicy as they are, I couldn't find myself putting them down. The flavor keeps you hooked wanting more and more. I am excited to try out a Coctel next and am positive I will have nothing but praise. Definitely worth a try if you are ever out in the area or just passing by. But some shady charges or maybe we'll call it miscommunication just rubbed me the wrong way. I always order the mole chicken enchiladas and my wife (being vegetarian) asks for the same dish but if the enchiladas can be vegetable or cheese. Apparently this means a 8$ up charge? We've done this many times in the past and always been charged the same price for both. I asked the server at the end "the veggie version is 8$ more expensive than chicken?" And he just shrugged and said yes. Just found it interesting that a meat dish would be 8$ less than a purely cheese/veggie dish. Especially since done this in the past with no issue. I also asked for "hot sauce" for my dish. They brought out a spicier house salsa as the hot sauce...totally understandable and the salsa here is usually free. Apparently it's a 4$ "chipotle sauce" that the waiter did not inform me would be charged. I would've easily just said I want tapatio or no "hot sauce". I used maybe a teaspoon for 4$. I told the waiter this when we questioned the bill and he just shrugged. These may seem like small inconveniences but when they seem like they intentionally don't tell you the details and then when called out about it just kinda shrug it off, it was a disappointing end to an otherwise tasty dinner. We love it here and will certainly be back but it just sucks that I have to be extra cautious & skeptical when ordering from now on.
