We ordered dinner from here pretty late on a weekday, so the restaurant was about to close when we went to pick up the food. We called in for takeout and the lady told us about 15 minutes, so that was quick. When we got there, the food wasn't quite ready yet, but it didn't take too long. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself seemed like a casual dining place, but since we didn't eat there, I couldn't tell how it was to dine in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were a little tired from our festivities and out of towners, so we just wanted to eat at the hotel. Food: *Cubano sandwich 4/5 the flavors were there, but the pork was a little dry. I did like that they put a lot of different sauces and ham in there too. *pulled pork plate 3/5 The pork was really dry for the dish. I got it with yellow rice and plantains, which I enjoyed. I think maybe we got it at the end of the day, so the quality wasn't all there *chicken and pizza empanadas 4/5 They were huge and the best item I had out of the others. The kiddo loved the pizza one and the chicken one had potatoes and other veggies inside, which was good.

    The Cubano, absolutely delicious!

Absolutely superb Cubano sandwich, the best I've ever had. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Pleasant vibes and close to the airport if it's a travel day - a great lunch stop![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I had the mofongo (Mar y Tierra) with tostones (fried green plantains) and platano madura (sweet plantains), which was delicious and washed it down with a passion fruit slushy drink.

    New buffet style

Prices are great and the food is authentic. The only issue is they don't have any of their sauces for the empanadas. My favorite :(

My wife and ai love this place and the staff. The taste and consistency of the food is amazing. Their lunch special is to die for and when ever in that area, it's a must for us.

Nestled near a gas station, El Rinconcito emerges as a hidden culinary gem awaiting discovery. During my visit to Florida, my craving for authentic Cuban cuisine led me serendipitously to this humble establishment as I put gas in my rental car. I was Intrigued by the crowded restaurant so I decided to venture inside and place a takeout order. I ordered for the roasted pork belly with Cuban rice and plantains, alongside an avocado salad and flan for dessert, I was pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of the dish as I devoured my food in my hotel. The pork was tender and juicy and the pork skin was crispy. The different flavor on the Cuban rice alongside the sweet and perfectly fried plantain satisfied my craving. Don't forget to grab flan to finish your meal because it will sure complete the meal with this creamy, perfectly sweet delight. Despite the language barrier, the staff exuded warmth and hospitality, swiftly attending to my order. In conclusion, stumbling upon El Rinconcito proved to be a fortuitous stroke of luck. With prompt service, delicious authentic food, and affordable pricing I rate this restaurant a perfect 5/5 rating, this hidden gem undoubtedly exceeded my expectations. Try this place out.

Yummy food. The restaurant is located as part of a gas station right by the airport. Restaurant has full waiter/waitress service, so you can sit down and eat. They also have a full bar and beer buckets. Looks like lots of friend groups meet up here for lunch/dinner to enjoy Medallitas beer buckets. Very yummy Puerto Rican food overall. The rice was a little bland but it was perfect mixed with the beans. The churrasco was a bit thin but flavor made up for it. I personally would not go out of my way for this spot but if in the area, worth checking out.

Pulled pork with yellow rice and red beans is amazing. Best Flan I have had!!!

Sooo good. Pulled pork with yellow rice and red beans!! Also the flan is incredible!!!!

    Whole snapper empanadas and me.

This place rocks and was very delicious. Whole red snapper took the prize and so did the empanadas. Service was great only wish my Spanish was a good as the food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance.... You have to enjoy family cooking to appreciate what I was provided. Muy buena.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Hidden treasure near the Airport at a gas Station. But don't let that steer you away. It's a good family restaurant Great Spanish style food Great drinks and great service. Authentic Latino Caribbean food and drinks. Great prices. The vibe is great with Latino appropriate music. This is the right place to practice your Spanish. And if you don't know about Latino cusine and what to order the menus have pictures. This is worth a visit. Two thumbs up

The ambiance and the warmth of the staff took me back to the Caribbean--it definitely felt like home. Their menu features a Latin-Asian fusion, and I loved every second of it. We started with the Krab Salad. It was incredibly fresh, topped with avocado, and the perfect way to open my appetite for a sushi night. Next were the Pork Fried Gyoza, served with a sticky, glossy sauce that has just the right amount of kick. They were so good, you won't be able to put your chopsticks down. The Escobar Roll combines shrimp tempura and churrasco--the best of both worlds. It's topped with sweet plantains, chimichurri sauce, eel sauce, and spicy mayo. I had my doubts about all those flavors working together, but I have no idea how they perfected that combination--they absolutely did. The Mar y Tierra Roll was recommended by our waiter, and I highly recommend ordering it in tempura. It gives the roll a completely different texture, and it's absolutely amazing. The Pollo Loco Roll is topped with sweet plantains and teriyaki sauce. It's simple, yet packed with flavor. We finished it all off with a crème brûlée. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be enjoying one at a sushi restaurant, but it was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. If you're looking for creative sushi, unique Latin-inspired flavors, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like family, The Escobar Kitchen is definitely worth the visit.

Being part of the parking structure doesn't mean that they validate your parking. If you can find street parking, definitely do that instead. I had the churassco med-well. It came with two sides, I had the tostones and salad. It was alright, but I definitely had better. I ordered it to eat it there and they put all the sauces in to-go containers, which was weird. The sauces were in such tiny containers, you definitely would need more. My friend got the mushroom arepa and a side of the sweet plantains that she really enjoyed. Service was good. The girl taking our order was super nice and polite. It was more like one step up from fast/food and self-served. You order at the counter and they give you a number for your table and they bring out the food to the table and you clean up after yourself.
