We stopped into this spot initially because a friend had told us that they have bacalaitos and I'd seen a prior review mentioning it also. My boyfriend loves them and has been craving them. Unfortunately, if they did have them, they don't anymore, but since we were already there and they had plenty of other options we decided to try them out. There is a large variety of food options you can view behind the counter, then order and let the employee know what you want. The only thing I didn't like was there was no written menu to my knowledge or signs or anything indicating what all the dishes were. I ended up choosing a beef stew dish and my boyfriend chose shredded beef and we both got arroz con gandules as a side. Portions are huge! We took our order to go and dug in. The food was all very tasty. I loved the potatoes and carrots just as much as the beef in mine and there was a very generous amount of tender beef. The rice was delicious. My boyfriend enjoyed his food as well. Prices were reasonable especially considering the large amount of food which provided multiple meals. Overall, this is a good, casual spot to get some yummy food!

Sazoncito latin food has gone through a great renovation . Enough space to have a good time while enjoying great food, drinks and ambiance! Shout out to the owners who make sure their guest are having a great time. Highly recommended #toasttoyou

    Shrimp mofongo

Ordered thru Uber Eats. Got the shrimp mofongo and tres leches but they forgot the tres leches which I was bummed about. The mofongo came with a side salad which was really sad and plain. The lettuce was soggy and the dressing was super watered down. I think it was supposed to be a vinaigrette but it had zero tang or flavor. The shrimp mofongo was ok. It did come with extra sauce as I requested but it was a little more tangy than I was expecting. The mofongo itself was fine and had a good flavor and the texture was right. As far as the sauce and the salad, I could totally fix with seasonings in my kitchen so it's all good. But, I think I would try another place if I wanted shrimp mofongo again.

I'm not going to lie- this spot was very good! Great prices! Great portions on most of their dishes. My wife's portion was huge, but the girl that served me was cheap on my portion. They have some menu items that you can that you can have freshly done. But we picked from the spread they had over the counter. I had fried chicken chunks but it was cold so I just had them heat it up. My wife had their lasagna and pernil with arroz con gandules. Everything was really good!! I will be back. Aesthetics are not great but who cares when the food is really good. It's definitely a spot to get your grub on and not spend alot of money.

Honestly this place is just okay, if you live in the area and want Spanish food then sure. My first experience at this restaurant was poor. The music was so loud for such a small restaurant, you couldn't hear the server or the rest of your party. The server and bartender is the same person, she was trying her best but honestly no one can do two positions and be attentive to paying customers. Food was mediocre, nothing was amazing. I had churrasco had requested medium rare and the churrasco was made well done. I didn't send the meal back since I was already waiting an hour for my food and so was the rest of my party. Slowly everyone received their food expect for one person in the party who received their food after everyone already had eaten. My party didn't understand the slow service the restaurant wasn't packed and there was only a few people at the bar. Overall this was my first and last time going to this restaurant.

People's attitude can really affect how you perceive a biz. If those who are "welcoming" customers only want to move on to better things, like their phone, and seem annoyed by having customers, maybe they need to reconsider their priorities. Which brings us to: biz need a manager on site to make sure customers are being treated right by employees. If you are a biz owner, now you know why you need to be there. This place is a hole on the wall, a type of place that I enjoy visiting because what is better than good and cheap and very often unique? This place has good flavors, but things seem to be going downhill, or they are downsizing. There were lots of empty space, empty boxes, and empty trays of food. How can you visit a Caribbean restaurant and not find sweet plantains or yuca (cassava)? On my visit, I got some yellow rice, pork chops, and mac, and to be honest, the food was good, but the pork chops were specially good and fat, and that was a bang for my buck. For the goodness of those pork chops, I give this place 4 stars and forget all the crappy 2 star stuff.

Old rotten meat. Costilla "al horno". Come with nasty bbq sauce to mask old meat. Salad with NO dressing.
    Crystal C.

They serve old ribs! They tasted like rotted meat. Which usually costilla al horno has no BBQ sauce, but the meat was so smelly, they tried over cooking and masking it with BBQ sauce. Also , this was a to go plate so I ordered the large lunch special that come with a salad, they filled all this lettuce and fresh tomato but didn't put ANY dressing, not even on the side so I ended up throwing EVERYTHING away. Worst $13 ever waste.

The place is also consistently busy, one person leaves and two more walk in. You can expect to wait 10-15 minutes for your food but the upside is everything is made in the moment so it will be fresh. Pro tips: There is a small parking lot in the back of the building otherwise you'll need to find street parking. Also you want to set the moment right with Passionfruit juice or a Coco Rico!

We found it totally by accident, just a random stop next to a venue before a show and suddenly I was transported straight back to my NYC days when late‑night chimis were basically a lifestyle. They do have chimis here, but the real star of my personal universe is the Tripleta. Chicken, pernil, ham, lettuce, tomato, potato stix, and that glorious kreme sauce all stacked together like they're auditioning for the sandwich hall of fame. It's so good I don't even pretend to have self‑control anymore, I order one to eat and two to take home because future‑me deserves happiness too. Then come the maduros, sweet and caramelized just right, the kind that instantly hit you with Caribbean nostalgia like a warm breeze and a memory at the same time. And the empanadas? Massive, golden, and addictive. The shrimp scampi one is almost always sold out, which honestly just proves everyone else has good taste too. The vibe is pure Dominican quick‑bite energy: walk in, get hit with the smell of sizzling goodness, and catch the soundtrack of mainstream dembow or reggaeton bouncing off the walls. It's the perfect pre‑game, mid‑night, or post‑party stop, especially since they stay open until 4 AM from Thursday to Saturday. That alone makes them a community service. And because the business started in NYC, the staff will happily chat with you about the city, the food, the culture, whatever you're nostalgic for. It feels like home, but with better parking. If you want real Dominican flavor, late‑night energy, and sandwiches that will ruin you for all other sandwiches, Los Tres Golpes is the move.

Their service is great and fast, but more importantly their food is mouth watering good. It always leaves me with a craving to come back and a full stomach ready to tackle the rest of my workday. My favorites have consisted of a Cuban sandwich which is full of pork and sauce and toasted nicely. It also does not fall apart when eating which is a plus when you are trying to stay looking presentable. Their pork is amazingly juicy and just falls apart in your mouth and has been worth every stain I have accidentally caused on my dress shirts. The white rice is fluffy and simple and good but their yellow rice is much better with many items. Their chicharron de cerdo is crispy and breaks easy and it's never been hard or chewy. Their ropa vieja is also delicious and I can't help but devour the entire plate. The rice and beans paired real good with this! My favorite sides have been the avocado salad and their macaroni salad! Both very light and balanced well with light citrus flavors in the avocado salad. I'll keep coming back here because the food honestly reminds me of so many great dishes my family use to make at home and after eating at so many places around Orlando I had yet to find a better place to get Spanish food like this!

I was visiting Orlando and I have a lot of friends and family here. My niece took us here for lunch with high praises of the place. I was excited since I haven't eaten good Dominican outside of the few dishes I've learned how to make over the years. We arrived and immediately began to order. There were a lot of us so I will only review what I ate. I ordered a small sancocho to start. It was ok, but was seriously devoid of seasoning. From the start you could tell they were playing it safe with the flavors. Trying to appease as many tongues as they could. I hadn't had sancocho in a very long time, so I was seriously disappointed. For my main course I ordered the monfongo with pernil. Where the sancocho lacked flavor the monfongo and pernil over reached. It was crazy salty. Like way too salty. I could only get through a few spoonfuls before I called it quits. I then turned to some of my wife's rice and beans and was right back to flavorless. About the only thing that tasted even was the chicharon de pollo. But even that was lack luster. It's always hard to find a good Dominican food restaurant. I will keep searching but till then I guess I will just continue to hone my skills at cooking it at home. The atmosphere itself was good. Sort of a mid-stage afternoon spot. Nice, clean, nothing too trendy or new. Just an average spot. If you have never had Dominican food this may be the spot for you. Something safe so you aren't over whelmed by flavors. If you grew up on it like me, I feel you will be disappointed.

The shrimp tacos were a great deal for 8 dollars. 3 tacos with meaty and plump shrimp and fresh veggies in a light sauce. There was a small amount of spicy sauce to kick it up a notch. It took a while to order dessert, but the cheesecake (8 dollars) was fine and they were very to give me an extra slice. While the food is good, the service can be pretty slow and sometimes careless. I thought the people next to me at the other table were patrons, but they looked to be advertisers for the food and promotions. The other staff can get busy, so it is best to pack some patience. When I paid the bill, always a good idea to ask for an itemized bill, so you know what's getting charged. When I paid the bill, I think they first mentioned that it didn't include tip, and I didn't have proper change to give them cash. But after looking closer at the total cost, I am pretty sure it included 20 percent already. Staff needs to be honest about this. Honestly, you all know why I came and this is the reason why I always come on a Tuesday... The mechanical bull! It always comes on Tuesdays around 8:30, and normally ready to ride 15 minutes later. I did not see any other guests ride, and the only other riders was the advertisers. So I took a couple rides on it, and it was just a fun and enjoyable ride. Since the ride operator knows me, he normally goes at a pace where I can just enjoy a thrill without risking of falling off. Good practice before riding the real ones. Honestly, this cowboy is selfish. If it wasn't for the bull rides, the restaurant would just be another nightclub place.. While the food is good and the security staff are nice, the service can be slow and maybe dishonest. I still enjoy this place and love going on Tuesdays mostly because of the free bull rides. As long as they still have em on Tuesday, I will keep on coming to practice, and hopefully will be ready to ride the real bulls again soon! Overall: B- for the restaurant. A+ for the bull rides.
