Yes, it's in a gas station, however, it's very clean and I highly recommend the arepas. They are making these to order as there was only 1 other person in line waiting for their food but it did take almost 15 min. But it's absolutely worth the wait. The shredded beef with white shredded cheese was so flavorful and salty from the cheese (but not too salty). It was a tad greasy and you would have difficulty eating it in the car as it could get a little messy despite then wrapping it well. I also ordered the Carne Asada with the grilled cheese. You could probably eat this one in the car, but may lose a few pieces of the beef. The grilled thick slice of cheese was excellent and the beef was charred perfectly. The cilantro sauce and garlic sauce were perfect accompaniment to ad extra flavor. I was surprised how well the grilled arepa held up. Others I've had can get crumbly. I drove about 40 minutes home to eat these and they made it. They both even reheated nicely in a skillet covered for my son to share several hours later. I look forward to having these again. In my opinion, the arepa was okay. We did a pickup and it was really easy to order online. I got the fried pork (Arepa de cochino frito) & the pork itself was flavorful and crunchy. The disappointing part of the arepa is how little cheese I got. It made the arepa really dry and felt like I was eating just dough and meat. Personally, I don't think I would get it again. But the Beef Empanada was really good. It was crispy and flavorful. Definitely was my favorite out of the two. I went to Arepa Station while I was running some errands near the airport area, I really was craving an arepa, looked into the Yelp app to find places nearby, saw a few int he app and decide to go to Arepa station, and I'm happy I did because the arepa I got was so good. It's inside a gas station, has plenty of seats to eat in, went midday after lunch, and there wasn't much of a line at all, I wait like 10 minutes for then to serve the food. I ordered a Reina Pepiada, which is an arepa stuffed with a chicken avocado mayo salad and white shredded cheese, and I ordered a Colombian apple soda, which reminds of home, it was delicious the whole meal, and very filling. There were not that many people at the time, saw some customers inside, and a few got in and ordered while I was there, I could see was a popular place, people ordered and went their way. I liked it, they seem to have, besides arepas, lunch specials, soups, empanadas, appetizers, and desserts, so I see myself going back there and trying more of what they have to offer. read more

Heading to the airport for a flight home, we had to fill up the gas tank on the rental car- with not much time to spare, we decide to get a bite to eat here at this GREAT Venezuela Restaurant... don't be fooled, IT IS inside the gas stations store. We tried several different things. I can't even pronounce them or remember what they were called but everything was very tasty. My choice though would be: is the shredded chicken (hands down the best ) inside what look like to be a gordita sliced in half. So the breading on it, taste a lot like a corn Gordita . the chicken flavor was excellent and very moist. I also got a side of plantains and they were delicious. Just a side note, if you get the lunch special, it comes with a salad. Be prepared because the salad is made with some type of a mustard dressing. So if you're not to keen to the taste of mustard this might not be the salad for you. It also has Parmesan cheese. And we're back in Florida and having to go to the airport. I came here again to get the pepito especial with beef the next day/ after my first visit. Got the fish empanada and tequenos againnnnn on my second visit-- this time I had people to share it with. I was a bit disappointed in my lack of vegetables in the arepa previously, but you can always ask them to substitute or add vegetables! If you get any of the arepa burgers or burgers, you can add fries for only just $1 more. I decided to get the pepito especial because it says it comes with lettuce, tomatoes, and the sauce in this was heavenly. I think they might have added the green sauce(maybe) in it, but it was already creamy and savory inside, all I had to add was the salsa just for a little spice. Everything in this sandwich was perfect. They did not skimp out on anything. I tasted the beef, the bacon, the ham, the sauce. Delicious! This sandwich is pretty big. It's at least 8 inches (or matbe 10). I couldn't finish it by myself in one sitting, but it came in a nice to-go box that I just took with me and finished later. You can even buy flip flops while waiting for your order to be cooked. Honestly, the food is good though. We liked their chicken pepito and the pollo asado arepa con queso amarillo. The pollo mechado arepa was good because of the pollo flavor. The arepas could have been a little more cooked/toasted but the filling made up for it. That's not what you come here for and btw this state is one big beautiful melting pot of people and cultures and that's a good thing. Service is incredible everyone is friendly. I get a funny roadside vibe from this place like when I was a little kid on road trips with my parents. My dad would stop anywhere for a meal because you just never know what your going to experience. Arepa Burger does not let you down. I've been there several times and it's been amazing each time. I was hesitant to go because I have never had good food at a gas station but fortunately we decided to go and try it. So this is really inside a gas station, you order at the counter and wait for your food and there are tables to eat and it has very reasonable prices. We tried different type of arepas and they were really good the dough and its consistency was very good as well as the fillings, we also tried a Pepito (which I never had before) and it was very good too. This was our first visit and of course we had to order the Arepa Burger $7.99 and we also ordered a side of Tequeno's $4.99. We like arepas like what you get at some of the festivals, craft and art shows. In this form as a burger, it's interesting but not our favorite. These come with a decent sized burger patty, a fried egg, bacon, ham, potato sticks, cheese, lettuce, tomato and a mayo/ketchup mixture and this is surrounded not by a bun but by grilled arepa corn cakes. The Mayo-ketchup mixture was a bit heavy for my taste and overwhelmed the rest of the flavors. I can't really say that the rest of it was fully flavored because I just couldn't tell. This was interesting to try but it's over now and I don't need to try again. It was sizable too as I did not and could not finish mine. The Tequenos were served in a tray of 5 short ones. They were very tasty and worth getting again and again. They have several sauces to choose from and we liked the corn sauce which is a light creamy white sauce that was nice with the Tequenos, although they were fine by themselves. This fast food restaurant is in a gas station and has at least 11 booths to sit in. You order at the counter and they call you to pick it up at the counter when your food is ready. I rated this 3 stars just because the burger wasn't my favorite. This may be an amazing experience for someone else. read more

For a hole in the wall spot attached to a gas station I have to say this place is pretty good. Although, I wish that I would have ordered something different, my food was great. After reading other reviews and hearing someone in the place make a recommendation, I would say to try one of the arepas. I tried the regular burger which in my head I thought would be a burger on arepas totally my fault for screwing that up. It's a burger on burger buns. Cooked well, but the cheese that is on it is not melted. It's shredded cheese which is a little different. (4/5) My wife tried the arepa queso which she said was good, but she wishes the cheese was melted. (3/5) We also ordered the Tequenos which were DEVINE!!!! These were the absolute star of the show! Second visit here in the last 6 days. Obsessed much? I think so!!! My first visit was last Sunday and I ordered the Reina Pepiada. Comes with chicken and cheese with some garlicky white sauce in an arepa. It was my first time trying Venezuelan food and I was pleasantly surprised at how yummy it was, especially with the restaurant being inside an unassuming gas station. To be very honest, I've been dying to try arepas for the past 6 months and this place came up on my search feed as being one of the best here in Orlando. You'd be surprised that not so great looking places has some of the best food. Never judge a book by it's cover. Since my first visit I haven't been able to think about anything else but arepas. So I decided to come back today and try something else on the menu. This time, I ordered the arepa burger with ground beef. It came with bacon, ham, lettuce, cheese, garlic sauce, and potato sticks with a side of fries to go and took it home. I could've eaten my food there but it was starting to get a bit loud-- as there was a customer yelling at the cashier in Spanish for taking too long with her order. The food here is great but my only pet peeve would have to be the customer service. The cashier does not speak English- she only speaks Spanish and kept answering the phone instead of helping the customers in line. She could have let someone else answer the phone as she was not only person working there. The customer that yelled at her was actually complaining about this. When it was my turn to order, I had to tell her that I only speak English so she ended up getting someone else to help me, which by the way, was much nicer and had better customer service. Although I've only been here twice, I'm giving them four stars for the food. They would get 5 if customer service improves and everyone could at least be bilingual. read more
