    Bandeja paisa

Saw this place while driving around the area and decided to try it out later in the week with some friends after work. We were blown away, the staff was friendly and restaurant was clean and decorated beautifully. I ordered the Bandeja paisa and I still can't pick what my favorite part was, everything was so good. One of my friends I went with is Colombian and she agreed that this was really good, authentic Colombian food. I noticed they do different soups depending on the day of the week so I will definitely be coming back to try out those!! Overall really good food with great portions if you're in the area I highly recommend.

First experience here was a great one. The staff was friendly, establishment clean, and food came fast. Both meals had were very fairly portioned and tasted excellent. The restaurant also has many TVs and a projector so will be a nice place to watch sports!

The atmosphere was very festive and inviting. The menu was filled with Colombian specialty dishes. Once the food arrived, not only was it cooked perfectly (carne asada medium rare), but it was packed with flavor! Great portion sizes! Friendly service! Fernanda was attentive and very personable! Highly recommend!

Price is extremely high for comfort food. Food is ok but doesn't go hand in hand with the price. Not for me, I'm sorry

Food is awesome. Service was good. Places like this need to stay open in Waterford. Definitely coming again. Nicely decorated too and clean.

I did remember seeing a Colombian flag before, but I think the place was closed for a while. My first impression when we walked in was that the place could use better decoration and some decluttering. My second impression was that what was offered on the menu wasn't exactly what they offered (I'll get back as to the why in a bit). I wasn't sure what to order, so I went with something off the daily specials. I ordered the chicken with peppers, salad, and papitas (the little potatoes), but without the rice. The special also came with a chicken soup. My wife got the beef with peppers, rice, salad, and papitas. We also ordered four beef empanadas, jugo de mora (blackberry), and jugo de piña (pineapple). Let's start with the chicken soup, which was very good; some cilantro on top, veggies, a few pieces of yuca, and chicken (of course). My grilled chicken was pretty good and the potatoes were good as well. I try to limit my carb intake during the week, so I didn't get the rice. The grilled steak was very soft, juicy, and tender. She did say that the rice (white) was very good. She also found the pineapple juice a little too sweet for her taste, but in their defense, she dilutes everything in water as it is. Now to my favorite part of the meal... the beef empanadas. I honestly have no idea if they're made on site or mass produced. I'm leaning towards mass produced because they were all exactly the same size and shape. At this point, that's neither here nor there. They were amazing! I specifically took a small bite first so as to not taste any of the meat, just empanada. It's hard for me to explain how flavorful the dough was by itself, but believe me, if you go here and don't try the empanadas, you're missing out. So, now back to the whole menu vs what's actually being offered. This restaurant recently changed owners and they are transitioning to a new name. I think it's going to be called Alla Nos Vemos. The owner (I'm assuming) popped his head out of the kitchen while we were paying and talked to us very briefly. He seemed like a really nice guy. He thanked us for coming in, invited us back, and left us with a "Dios los bendiga," which to me goes a long way! Kind of a little whole in the wall, but I was very pleasantly surprised with the food.

I ordered three things through ubereats. 1) Fried chicken thighs--they sent two fried drum sticks…read more 2) mofongo with fried pork--the pork chop had so seasoning and no flavor. It was also overcooked, so it was dry and hard to chew. No sauce. 3) chicharrones-- these were well seasoned and flavorful, but the skin was rubbery, not crispy.

It's basically a 12 inch sandwich that comes with grilled chicken grilled steak, lettuce, tomato onions, and a cilantro style sauce with a little bit of mayo ketchup, which was toasted and served with an order of french fries was unbelievable and it was only $13.99 My wife went and ordered a meal called a 911 basically what it is is fried chunks of pork with grilled chicken and Mofongo with also a couple of pieces of toasted garlic bread, which she could only eat half the other half she had to bring back home that was only $19.99 this man's restaurant was highlighted by Guy Fieri show "Triple D" about five years ago and I see why.. excellent food and service goes along long way. They have bench seats and independent chairs. They do not have outdoor tables. About the service... long wait all around. I ordered a Coke Zero, they brought a can with a straw- I would say very reminiscent of what you would get in a kiosk in Puerto Rico, but other tables got a cup and ice. Maybe it's upon request? My husband ordered Perrier, or soda water, but they don't have any. It could be that they only serve canned drinks, not from a machine. So he got water, refills come very rarely. So far trickling slow. Every time I decide to do a "realtime review", something happens that it makes the service very slow. They play Latin music in the background. Food's here. Hubby ordered the pinchos with tostones one thing he noticed right away is that the pinchos aren't grilled. I ordered a pork pincho with mofongo and I have to agree, these are deep fried (carne frita). The tostones were good, he said. My pincho is very fatty and the flavor is ok, not seasoned as I would expect. The mofongo is on point, with crispy bits of pork rinds. The bill reflects a 4% increase if you use a credit card, regardless of your party size. I might come back and try some other items, though. Better luck next time.
