My mom is always raving about the pupusas from this place, so when I was in town I knew I had to give it a try. We stopped in on a Saturday night and ordered the tostones, the yucca and chicharron platter, and an assortment of pupusas. Starting with the appetizers --I've had better tostones. They were too crunchy and too greasy, probably due to how they were pressed. The platter, however, was delicious! Yummy yucca with a nice crispy exterior and fluffy soft inside. The chicharrones were mostly meat pieces and very little of the crackling and fat, which I was pleased with but my sister was not. All in all, it depends how you like your chicharrones, but either way the portion of the platter is sizeable! We had plenty left to take home after the pupusas. Speaking of pupusas, they were amazing! So amazing, they did not last long enough for pictures! The ratio of tortilla to filling was perfect, and the cheese was mouthwatering ooey and gooey. The toppings and salsas allowed for us to mix and match each bite, which I enjoyed. I'm also used to small pupusas, but these were huge! Just one was enough for me --I'll have to come better prepared next time! Some other highlights were the beverages and service. The tamarind juice was sooooo good! Perfect amount of sweetness and tartness. The horchata was also very good. Our server was so friendly and patient with us as we ordered, which is always an ordeal at places like these because we want one of everything! I look forward to coming back and trying more off the menu!

Very good pupusas and chicken dishes. Good value, and serving sizes. I should have had them mark the containers, but we figured it out.

Service was good. Chips and salsa looked and tasted like store bought. My beans tasted sour, I don't know why.

We split the Salvadoreño and a couple pupusas which was WAY too much food for two, but it was so good we couldn't stop eating.

I should've ordered two dang delish. Then the Quesadilla de Queso / Cheese Quesadilla which comes with fries I did not know. Delivered by my fabulous Dasher. So polite and such a nice smile! Plus their car, I thought the Beatles yellow submarine mighta gotten lost lol. It was so cool. Thank you for smiles my Dadher, really great you my Dasher. Um I think these past few months of cray have rotted my brain some and I don't dare dishonor this fabulous place by mutelating the name of the restaurant and now my brain just quit. So before I get myself into trouble I'm gonna quit. Took a lotta lotta pics especially of the Tamal de Elote Con Crema / Sweet Corn Tamale with Cream as it was so freakin good. I'm impressed here and now to finish my Ensalada de Cebolla y Tomate / Red Onion and Tomato Salad. Yup. However may I please extend my gratitude and my appreciation to the lovely people who helped prepare my meal and I wish my brain was working. Thank you so much for a delicious comida. Muchas muchas gracias! Buenos noches y'all. Sleep with peace and please remember, practice practice kindness upon yourself each and every day. It helps me show it to others easier is the why is all. Peace and thank you.

I don't usually write bad reviews, but this restaurant was the worst that I have ever been to. I…read moretold the (rude) hostess what I wanted, and we ended up getting HALF of what we ordered and some of another order. I have eaten carne asada before and never received it. We also received a shrimp dish. When I called to complain, the rude hostess said they don't do shrimp dishes and that what I was saying must not be true. I hung up once I got accused of lying. Stay away from this place! I also hate the smell of cigarettes that greets you as you walk in. The area is also very sketchy. Carry pepper spray at all times!
