    How much she stole

Usually food and service is good, however today was unacceptable. After purchasing two separate items that should've totaled 21.65 plus tax An older lady charged me $29. I looked at the receipt and she did not label what she charged me for just (1 custom item). I asked her about it and she said it was an accident and tried to give me $1.65 back. I told them just to keep it after realizing I wasn't going to get my money back without the owner present. Very disappointed with this experience because I enjoy their food I left today with the stealing at least $7 sadly.

I've yet to be disappointed. Please don't disappoint ever! These are definitely wear your thanksgiving day pants days for me or maybe a loose fitting dress. Things I've had: Sopa De Res Calamari so good, just wish they were slightly smaller ring's. Yuca Con Chicharron Pupusa de Chicharron con QuesoMy faves!!! Realistically the only ones I ever order lol The mini quesadilla (Dessert/bread) Salvadorean, it was served nice and warm, also Not the Mexican ones made w/ tortillas. Needless to say can't wait to try everything else.

As good as it gets for pupusas short of flying to El Salvador, or spots in Los Angeles. Their menu is comprehensive: sopas, platos principales, sweet corn tamales, quesadillas (coffee bread) at the counter, and arroz con leche on special occasions. Current location near train plus their first location on Main (I believe it is same ownership) gives them 25-30+ years in existence -- a Central American institution in Port Chester, NY.

I have been looking for a good pupusa place for a while. The Pupusas here are a must. We ordered bean with cheese and chicharon with cheese. The tamale was also delicious! The people were super friendly and the service was quick, we were in and out within 30 minutes. The items were greatly priced. We definitely will be coming back!

The best authentic Salvadorian restaurant in Port Chester! For the price and quality of the food you can't get any better!! I would recommend getting the pupusas, chicharron and skirt steak! The owners David and Edwin are the nicest people too! Definitely recommend!

The amount was Way Overblown (The Amount Billed Came Nowhere Close to what was ordered)! When I addressed it, the waitress seemed more annoyed than just being forthcoming! She tried to justify the amount at which point I informed her that I a would Refuse to pay the bill unless I spoke to the General Manager! At that point, she accepted the amount I was willing to pay which was simply the amount posted on the menu! At which point, I informed her that if they want to keep their customers, they had better either Update their Menu with the Appropriate Prices or Inform customers that the Price on the menu has not yet been upgraded and just verbally inform customers of the correct price.

The wait seemed to be pretty long so we kept our space there and went for a walk when we came across La Papusa Loca and decided to grab a table. The decor is nice and I liked the wall art. We sat by the window in front so we could people watch as we enjoyed our meal. Our server was very nice. She explained the specials and we were luckily just in time for happy hour prices for drinks. We started with the appetizer platter which was a smattering of various items, along with grilled chicken hearts. They tasted really good. I had the octopus as my main and hubby had some sliders. All in all, I feel we were lucky to come across LPL when we did. Hubby and I both agreed that we would definitely be back.
