I am always looking for new places for lunch and Bill enjoys riding; so we took a ride up to Baytown looking for Mexican food and ended up at El Sinaloense. We received chips and salsa after sitting down at the table. The chips were very good - made from homemade tortillas, I am pretty sure. The salsas were hot and not hot. Also good. I ordered the grilled salmon with a roll and a "salad." The salad was merely lettuce with a hunk of tomato on top. But it was fresh lettuce. The salmon was delicious! It was cooked perfectly and had good flavor. It sat on a bed of rice with some grilled peppers and onions. I enjoyed the rice as well. The roll was so so. The price was very reasonable. Bill got the shrimp stuffed Pablono pepper (I think it was called a Chile Relleno, but not sure). It was flavorful. The beans were good and so was the rice. The tortillas were homemade and very good. The decor was interesting - I especially like the wooden medallion and the shell hangings. (See photos). All in all, it was a good meal and reasonable prices. The service was excellent. My only warning is for those with mobility issues. My husband is not able to walk much and uses a walker and I sometimes have to push him in his walker, so I was a bit worried about getting him in and out. The parking is across the street (any parking spaces next to the building were full - none marked handicapped the I could see). The entrance door has some large humps that interfere with wheels getting over them so I got stuck pushing him across. Lucky for us, a couple of the men guests in the restaurant helped me to get him in. There is also no handicap restroom so he could not use the facilities. Hi

Rica comida y les recomiendo este lugar muy bien ambiente gracias por su servicio, buena música y buen ambiente

Small shrimp cocktail. If this was the small then the large must be a full meal. The shrimp seemed endless

My first visit here was back in 2013 as my client brought me here. I knew that I was coming back to Baytown for work and I told my client that we definitely had to come here for lunch. This place has got to be the best Mexican restaurant in Baytown if not all of Houston. I started with the small shrimp cocktail and the shrimp was plentiful. It was delicious I also had the camarones rancheros. I wish that I would have asked for a couple of more tortillas but it was also delicious. I am looking forward to eating here one more time before I leave

Delicious! I may have been the only blue eyed Georgian in the house but this place is definitely worth stopping for. The Shrimp Cocktail was plentiful and fresh sided with a Cheese Quesadilla and a frozen Margarita is good for whatever ails you or for a great lunch!

Oh, how I wish I could give 5 stars. The service was excellent and we never went without drinks or anything else. The chips and salsa (especially that green sauce" was to absolutely die for. I'd come back just for that. BUT, my entree was awful. It was the "diablo" shrimp with some kind of spicy sauce and cheese. Cheese on shrimp is the worst combination ever and to make matters worse, the sauce tasted more like an enchilada gravy. I ate one, took it home and threw it away. I also hated my Spanish rice but the refried beans were great. My husband opted for the shrimp Chile Relleno and said that although it was delicious, it was quite bland and needed more seasoning. He'll also probably opt out of shrimp in his favorite dish next time. The lemonade was tasty and fresh and the atmosphere was inviting and warm but I hated my food. I'll come back and try some other things but for now, I'm wary.

The fish tasted days old, the bread was stale and the salad was a thin wet bed of ice berg and half a tomato slice. The manager would not replace the order only offer %50 off the meal even though I did not eat it.

Finally, Nathan visited his favorite restaurant for "world famous cocktail" as he calls it. It really was good. We will be back

We take turns picking the restaurant we eat out at so my stepson continued to ask to go get cocktail from Sinalouense in Baytown...we Finally got to go today! Believe it or not my 13 yr old was right on. The seafood cocktail was fresh bright and had an addicting sweet finish. The fried shrimp and fish were crispy and well seasoned. The Micheladas were crisp salty and cold! We will be back to try the ceviche for sure

The seafood soup was outstanding. I'm really glad I came here.

The michilada was discussing, I would not recommend . Only order a ship cocktail and it was decent.

This is a small but very efficient panaderia, carneceria, taqueria. Been wanting to check it out…read morefor some good barbacoa for quite some time and finally made it out on a busy Sunday morning. Located right in the middle of a neighborhood in a very small strip center. Parking is scarce. You walk in get in line and place your order for the barbacoa. They give you a number and they are pretty quick to get it. I really didn't know how things flowed here so I took my time and got some pan dulce which you are able to pick out yourself and put it on a pan with tongs. There are a ton of selections which included Conchas, pineapple upside cake, and cream cheese strawberry filled pastries. I asked about what came with the barbacoa and was surprised that only a half container of red salsa comes with it. Corn tortillas and cilantro/onion were extra?? Oh well lol. I didn't get a chance to glance the menu but did see beef tongue (lengua) and tripas were visibly being packed for others. Said and done paid $14.99 a pound for barbacoa and $36 for 3 bag fulls of pan dulce and extra hot green salsa and cilantro/onion. My only gripes were that the barbacoa was a bit greasy and the typical included things like tortillas and onion/cilantro were not included in the price. Overall one of the better places in town to get some fresh barbacoa and Mexican pastries! Definitely will be back!

First time here. Casual ambiance, great service and variety as well as good authentic Mexican food…read more They serve breakfast and lunch plates too. I Ordered the barbacoa taco and it was delicious. Not fatty or greasy at all. The hot salsa was delicious. I also had the chicharrón and egg taco but I didn't care for it. They have a great variety of items to choose from as well as baked Mexican sweet breads and a meat market all in one establishment. I would come here again. They only have about 3-4 tables where you can dine. You order at the counter and they bring your food out. They have cold drinks and hot coffee. If you're in a hurry and want something quick, this is the place.

Being that it was Mother's Day, we were seated as soon as they were done cleaning the booth. It…read moretook awhile for our waitress to make it to our table. Once drinks finally came out, my husband had to wait a few more for his beer. The decoration was nice, the women's dresses and head bands were beautiful. Once we ordered, the food came to our table one late at a time, with a few minutes in between. Again we had to ask husband's plate because it still hadn't arrived. My son ordered a large sweet tea. At one point, when he placed the glass back on the table it broke from a corner and leaked all over him. We quickly did our best to clean up. The bus boy asked if we were the ones who broke it. (As if it were intentional) another asked if my son had extra clothes in the car... his shirt and pants were soaked. No consolation or solution. We asked for another drink. At the end they charged us for two drinks, even the one that broke and leaked all over him. They could have at least offered to send him home with tea to go. When I asked the waitress about the extra drink, she looked at me and didn't say anything. This time around the food was not as amazing as I first recalled. Not going back

Instead, the food is sold just around the corner at Birrieria & Micheladas and it was absolutely worth it. The lamb barbacoa was very delicious, tasty, and perfectly moist. The goat birria tacos were also amazing and their fresh drinks are huge. After eating, we went back to the farm for a tour, which made the whole experience even better. Visiting both locations was totally worth it and made for a great, unique outing.
