    Beef taco

The sercice was good. The food was ok. My taco barely had any meat, taco bell puts more meat and that's saying a lot. The ladies did do a bice job at celebrating my husbands bday which was nice. However, we won't be returning.

3.5 service was prompt, could've been more warm. The 2 for 1 margs were juicy. The black beans had no flavor. The pinto beans were cooked nicely but again not much goin on. The guacamole was good as well as the rice. Complimentary chips & salsa were tasty & refilled timely. No pico came with either dish. Nice size space with plenty of seating, outside as well. The establishment seemed cleaned.

El Sombrero is a Mexican restaurant located on the corner of Palm Bay Road and Stack Boulevard. It is a spacious restaurant and while nothing overly fancy, El Sombrero is clean, bright and pleasant enough. For lunch, they have a decent enough menu with the usual lunch offerings. Perusing it and trying to eat a bit more healthy, I avoided the queso cheese burrito (the picture on the menu looked rather indulgent), but instead, I went with the carne asada. We also got a queso cheese appetizer and while decent, it wasn't anything special. Their salsa and chips were good, as well. The carne asada was a nice choice. The lunch special carne asada was fourteen dollars, which I guess is competitively priced to other Mexican restaurants in the area. Our server was friendly, but not really attentive. After our food was dropped off, the next time we saw her was when she dropped of our check. All in all, I will give it four stars. If I was right by here and wanted Mexican food, I would not have a problem coming back here, but I would not go out of my way to return to El Sombrero.

As soon as we walked in.. the vibe was a bit unwelcoming. Like they didn't want us to eat even though we came an hour before closing. Took 15 mins to even get chips & salsa.. then we were able to order drinks. I was less than disappointed. We only came here bc our main spot is closed for the holiday.. I'm mad we even came. The food was OK.. drinks were average. I won't come back unless it's for a work lunch bc majority voted to come.

We went about 5pm on Saturday night. The restaurant was full & there was live music which was an awesome surprise. We loved our meals & were full by the time we left! I asked for a special veggie meal that wasn't on the menu & they had no problem making it. The waitress was very nice & attentive. The other employees were in good spirits, singing & dancing to the live music. The restaurant & the bathroom was clean. The tables & chairs were comfortable. Our bill was just under $50.00, which included a beer, regular tea, queso & two meals. Not bad! We will be back!

Food is so much better now. Salsa is really good along with rice and beans. The place is maybe getting a clean up. The ceilings need a lot of help see pictures. The waitresses are very sweet.

Enjoying an early dinner with my family. Fresh Guacamole, burritos, tacos...love their combo plates!

This is a great family restaurant. I always enjoy dining there. The portions are super big & the prices are very reasonable. The staff is friendly & attentive. Definitely not authentic, but food is well-seasoned & well-prepared & very tasty

Came for an earlyish dinner and did not realize it was happy hour. Lots of specials on drinks and apps to choose from. House margaritas were good and a bit potent :) The burrito loco was had by two of our party. One with queso and one with red sauce. PROTIP. Order the burrito with birria meat and be amazed. Tender and flavorful off menu option. The fajita meal was huge as expected. And we had leftovers. The meat and chicken was very flavorful and the veg was rendered enough to soften them but keep the flavor. Sweet onions and bell peppers were perfect. Do not drive by this gem of a restaurant.

We told her we love trying new things and asked for her recommendations, and she absolutely delivered. She helped us narrow everything down, and honestly, every single thing we ordered was so good. The pork belly al pastor, and the el queso shrimp bravo were all incredible. Super fun, unique dishes and the presentation made it even better. She had no idea we were in town for a funeral, but this ended up being such a needed pick-me-up for our family. The vibe, the food, and Sofi's energy just turned our whole night around. If you go, definitely ask for Sofi. She is the best.

Not sure why this place wasn't packed because of the food and drink quality was amazing. For drinks, I ordered the Cantarito Jalisco and boy it was strong. They don't mess around with their alcohol. While it was strong, it was still tasty and it came along with mini Reposado bottle where you dump the contents into your drink. If you like strong drinks like me, I recommend this one. My MIL and hubby had a margarita and I don't remember what it was called but man was it a HUGE margarita! You definitely need to pace yourself with this one. I definitely want come back for happy hour! For our entree, I ordered the Enchiladas Guadalajara. It was delicious. I'm such an enchilada girl and this one landed in my top 3. It comes with 3 shredded chicken enchiladas topped with queso fresco and sour cream. Soooo yummy. It comes with a side of yellow rice and salad. I want to try different items on the menu next time but this one was a good first choice. Overall, the vibe inside the restaurant, cleanliness, and staff attention exceeded expectations. Thanks Agave D'Oro!

We opted for a quick dinner at the bar. And quick it was, but so good. I had their chimichanga. Fantastic and huge. The meat was perfectly seasoned and so tender. The toppings were fresh. Her's came with rice and beans which were excellent. The portions here are huge. The ingredients are excellent, so they aren't skimping. The food to value ratio is excellent. Great food, lots of it at reasonable prices is win! And the people are all so nice. They even have extra patience when some asks a million questions while butchering pronunciation. LOL. Good peeps. Facility: this is a small quaint spot with Mexican decor with red seats. There is booth and regular seating. The booths have high back which allows for nice privacy. Service: the waiters are always super helpful and nice here. The food comes out quick too. Food: I love the salsa here. It's so hard to find a place with a good salsa and I like theirs. We always order the queso dip too. It was a little too thin this time and they fixed it right away. I also always get the carnitas fajitas. I love carnitas and when they put it on the sizzling cast iron, it adds some crunchy "burnt" parts. Not really burnt, but well done and delicious. But there's still plenty of tender juicy parts of the carnitas too. Another downfall is they only give you rice or beans and not both like usual Mexican restaurants. Otherwise the food is top notch.
