This is probably the most popular club in downtown Los Cabos. The place is huge on the inside. The place has three levels of dance floors and the host does a really good job of managing the crowd to music and keeping everybody on their feet. I would highly recommend this place if you enjoy loud dance music. The only con for this place is it is very crowded and it gets very difficult to find a table and service. This place is cool and definitely worth the visit but be wary it's a total tourist trap. The balloon lady got us and was worth the money but then they tried to sell us roses and guilt my fiancé into getting me some (for $16 I would rather get a couple drinks) and are very very pushy. There are multiple balconies all the way up to the rooftop on the 4th floor, but all look down into the bottom dance floor. Its hot inside and full of vacationers dancing and drinking until they close at 4am. You won't find any locals here. Everyone is there to party and I would say that pretty much anything goes. We dined in on the very first day of reopening and was told they were open till midnight. We had dinner and drinks which were very good but suddenly we saw them close the doors from the street and rushed everyone out of the place. We also had multiple rounds of shots brought to our table when we didn't order any of them. Did we have fun? Yes. We danced around, had a good time and decided to head to the next bar. While I've only been part of the evening crowd (ESR is a restaurant prior to transforming into an open air nightclub around 9-10pm every night), the food doesn't look much different than something you would get from a chain restaurant like Applebees. First stop on a Sunday night (09/25/16), always great when you get in without a cover charge. This place could be overwhelming to look at, but once you start walking, you'll find cool decorations all over the place. There's a guy in the middle of the floor trying to pump people up by singing and talking over the songs, and it does work! haha especially when they start playing that Bay Area music! I've never seen a club like this, with three stories of people just dancing on top of tables, poles, and railings. It's a little bit ratchet, but lots of fun and you might even find yourself dancing on a stripper pole ;). The music is GREAT. They play mostly American hip hop and pop rock, which appeal to the majority of the people in there. This was our favorite place in Cabos. Let me start by saying this isn't your average bar and or bar food. This is definitely a Experience you'll have to experience. The whole staff is wonderful from entry to end. We went to Cabos to celebrate our 11th anniversary and prior to going we looked up activities to do. And El Squid Roe looked like a ball of fun. Beware - Something is going on at squid roe. We have visited squid roe at least once each year since 2015. Even with my credit card number being stolen there one year, we continued to return and just used cash- a nuisance, but not a deal breaker. Never felt unsafe until this year. I am writing this warning for other parents. We ran into a very uncomfortable situation that could be described as potentially human trafficking or some other kind of exploitation/danger with the late teen female travelling with us. We were concerned enough to escalate the inappropriate/concerning interaction to the "manager" who became very aggressive / physical after reporting our concerns. A physical altercation with this "manager" was avoided by having the where with all to keep a calm head and get out of there even after being physically pushed. The guy came back to me and told me they don't accept American Express. They only take visa and MasterCard. We gave them a different card and paid that way. The next day I had a 220$ charge on my American Express anyways. I went back to talk to the guy and he just gave me some number to call. It was absolutely no help. If you wanna experience South Beach in Mexico look no further than Squid Roe and Pink Kitty, located in the Marina area on the strip in Los Cabos this is the hotspot for the young crowd in the area gets pretty crazy in there and if your there to have a good time for loud music and jumping around this will be great for you. But if you want some good mixed drinks please look elsewhere because the drinks are absolutely terrible. Ive never had a worse margarita in my life and I once had a blind monk make me one so that's saying something (jk haha) They have a signature Squid Roe drink and it was terrible as well so I strongly suggest you order Beer and stay away from the rest. This place was the best bar/club I have ever been to, I wish every bar back home was like this one! The music is awesome, played a good mix of everything. They have great drinks and if you need jello shots they have them. That's actually probably the only downside is that they bombard you with jello shots every three minutes!
