I wouldn't call this place a club even though there are makeshift stages and bumpin music (good mix of everything that gets you jiggy)-because it's more like a restaurant and bar to me, with tables and seats everywhere. There are tourists and locals in even ratios so it's not a foreignfest, but the prices are high enough that it screams "tourist hotspot". I did like how it had two stories so it wasn't too packed downstairs, and yet the people upstairs were able to look down and enjoy the view. This place is huge on the inside, it has 3 floors and multiple bar areas throughout to get a refil on drinks. The music is mainly American hip hop and pop and the dj seemed good at reading the crowd to make sure everyone was dancing. Me and my boyfriend drinks started drinking on the first floors front bar and after a few rounds went up stairs to dance. The only issue I had was the different bar areas were giving us different prices for our drinks. The difference was for each drink was 3 dollars per drink, but four rounds in that adds up. OK, so you want to dance, drink and party right? Well THIS is the bar, club, lounge (whatever you want to categorize it) to be! My friends and I came here twice during our stay in Cabo and the atmosphere was electric both nights. The music was popping with lots of hip hop, the crowd was energetic and the drinks were relatively cheap. Squid Roe consisted of 3 floors, with the 1st floor being the main party/dance floor. The 2nd floor led to a private room (shaped liked a bus), that had a view of the dance floor. The 3rd floor was for those who weren't going any where near the chaos on the 1st floor and wanted to stay safe from it, but still wanted to bop their heads and bodies to the music. Besides the awesome music, great crowds, the MC in the bar had a great deal to do with the crazy atmosphere and he riled up the crowd from time to time. He kept the energy going all night. And if you're wondering who he is, look no further than the guy with the microphone standing on the moving stairs in the middle of the chaos. You'll see him gyrate with the music and get down. What more can I say? If you love partying and loud music, it's a must to make this a stop! read more

I would give this establishment zero stars if it was an option. The food was absolutely horrible. The steak was extremely under cooked. The lobster tasted rotten. We bought a Los Cabo's passport to try and save money during the trip. On the website it says no exceptions to their 2for 1 deal however, when we tried to use it we were denied and told there were exceptions. The manager/owner was extremely rude and told us we needed to show the passport prior to ordering. It does not state this anywhere on the passport site. WHAT A WILD PLACE. My friends and I came here every night of our trip. It's super grimey and college-y, but great place for a fun time! If you don't end up getting bottle service, I don't recommend bc it can get super crowded. Sadly, I lost my car keys here and it was never recovered, but they seem to have a great lost and found system where they log everything that was found by the day and it can easily be tracked if they have it. The eggs benedict, the quality of the dish overall wasn't very good, the "Canadian ham/bacon" seemed to just be regular ham, the "original hollandaise sauce" taste nothing like the original and it was also quite stiff. In the dish description it says the eggs are "served with bacon and hash browns" , my dish did not come with bacon nor hash browns, i'm not sure though if only the dish with lobster comes with those sides. Instead of those sides I got a light, and savory salad. Unlike the eggs the salad was well seasoned and tasted very good. This place is ALWAYS on our list when we travel to Cabo. The last time I was here was about a month ago for a bachelorette trip and we got bottle service. We were shown to a table near the back, which was a little disappointing as we wanted to be located where the "action" was in the middle of the club, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we were left alone (for the most part) to do as we pleased in our area. Make sure to check your bill if you're paying with card. They take advantage of you being "drunk" and charge you an extra $10 so the bartender/servers can keep for themselves. This happened to my sister 3 times- our round of drinks was $45 but they charged her card $55. I payed for bottle service which was $190 in US dollars but they charged my card $200. I asked them why they charged me $200 on my card when both of my servers said it was $190. They showed me they charged me in pesos which was $3,788 and said that was equivalent to $200 in US dollars. They thought I was stupid or naive thinking I'd believe that. I know that 3,788 pesos equaled $190 US dollars. ALSO, my sister payed for our drinks with cash the last time ($45 US dollars for one round, my sister gave him $60) the bartender put the 60 in his pocket and gave my sister back $5. She told him he owed her $15 back. He was in shock she said something and said "oh sorry." And instead of returning the $15 from the money he put in his pocket, he took money from the register and gave her the $15. We would've tipped them that amount either way, but the way they try to rip off their customers is unsettling. They take advantage of tourists, and think we're idiots. read more

Bachelor Party Review. We went out to other locations the night before (Friday) and it was packed everywhere even this place. I can't do my usual review about parking since we took a cab/bus to here from the Resort we stayed at. One of the first stops we went to. They offered us a free table, but no alcohol. No cover charge. They take either cash or peso. They had a hype man in the middle of the floor. They played a mixture of hip hop, dance, and fist pumping music. There's seats upstairs and down. It's a restaurant before turning into a night club. A turn off was that waitress would come by every few minutes to make you take jello shots. They're are 3 dollars USD per shot. Bottle service there is decently priced, but the size of the bottle is on the smaller side. The place was packed. It was a good vibe. People dancing, singing and just letting loose. This reminds me of a TJ club. They want you to drink so you can buy more drinks. So giving you a few shots for free is just an investment. As you exit you can bring your drinks. Just got to pour them into a plastic cup. The seating and area didn't seem as clean as they could be. I didn't expect to have lots of cleanliness but the floor was sticky and the table we sat at seem like it was barely cleaned before we sat. Good times and experience here. If we go back to Cabo San Lucas we would probably come back here for a pre party before going to a another place. If your here on vacation you can't just spend your whole time in one place, you gotta explore and see what's out there. I would recommend this place to my friends and some of my family. ESR is family friendly during the day but don't expect this place to hold back from the booze centric environment. You will find guests playing flip cup or beer pong in exchange for even more free alcohol or shots. You know this place has it down to a science when they were even able to get my parents to compete in the beer drinking games and "booze-lympics" during our dinner. Once it hits about nine pm, the kids are forced into cages and disappear so the adults can have some real fun. Ok so maybe the jail like feature isn't for that but it would be funny right? Right? The food is decent but obviously being in San Lucas you'll want to focus on Mexican food or seafood. What ultimately makes this place so fun and unique is the multi-floor and aesthetic of ESR. It's so much fun and has a care free environment that you'll want to carry the night away.
