It may sound like a little thing but I appreciate and respect that they wipped off the rope of the coke can that they brought my husband before they poured it into his drink. Just had the most confusing interaction with the staff. I asked if there was a cover charge at night to get in. The one staff member (lady) directed me to a young man who was unsure and then said $30 per person which includes drink. Our friends told us that last night they were forced to buy bottle service or they couldn't go in. WTF. Unless I missed it where does it state that there is a cover charge? BEST PART OF CABO NIGHTLIFE HANDS DOWN. I visited Cabo from Los Angeles in January, staying at an all inclusive resort for a friends birthday. Each night we went out of the resort to the downtown area for the nightlife, and each night we always ended up at El Squid Roe. This place is so unique and the energy is so infectious! You have 3 floors of area all surrounding a guy on the main floor who is the crowd entertainer/MC and the DJ on the second floor. The DJ plays great music, and the drinks are all amazing and affordable. We had such an amazing time here, and if you are visiting Cabo and enjoy the night life, I would DEFINITELY recommend this place, it is an absolute MUST. read more

Fraduently charging extra tip on multiple charges in my party. Had a bill for $185, tipped a normal $35. They added a 1 and made it $135 tip and have had to dispute it over 2 months for such a ridiculous amount. Your service is not good enough to ever tip that amount. We got a table and when we entered they took our credit card. Not only did they hold onto the card (which is unnecessary considering gratuity and everything is already included) but near the end of the night, we saw an extra $121 charge on card. I asked why the charge was there and they said it was an error and charged another table onto the card. I asked for a receipt stating the charge was cancelled which they claimed they couldnt do. So they gave us cash. While they were paying us back, they tried mixing in PESOS with the USD like what the fuck? I caught them and said no, ALL USD. Anyways he paid us the 121 but little did we know, when we went home the charge ended up being an extra $40!!!! They must have tipped themselves. SCAM SCAM SCAM. They also pour the shots for you and PURPOSELY spill it and poured THEMSELVES SHOTS. Like who the fuck does that. The area the waitress set us up in was elevated and we were able to see the whole venue. The chairs had white stains all over it, so of course we opted to stand. After we finished our first round of drinks, we decided to check out the lower level and we ordered another round of the same drinks. They charged me $40 before tip. Due to the inconsistency of prices, we decided to leave a cash tip instead of putting it on my card. This place is so unusual... when I walked in, I did not know what was going on. There was soo much going on. Balloon people, random shots of liquor (jello shots, etc.), employees trying to make "human sandwiches" on the dance floor with you, booths where you can sit/stand on top of the back rests with like pull up bars or something all around. It's very colorful and very LIVE! The DJ was on point! My favorite part I think was all the hilarious signs all over the walls. It's like someone decided to keep all of the stuff they intended to sell in a garage sale and made a restaurant out of it, but a very cool and exciting person at that! I first partied at El Squid Roe when I was 18 and I just remember being totally blown away. I feel like they have gone through some major renovations and I'm not entirely sure if I'm totally into it. I miss the ghetto ness of the old el Squid. This new el Squid is a little confused and is trying way too hard. It wasn't very busy any of the nights we went. You'll probably be here every night if your trip.
