I will no longer be supporting this business. Don't get me wrong, the food is great (when they make it right) but I order a burrito off the menu that is listed for $5.75 add guacamole and sour cream and they charge me $9!! My friend orders the same burrito and it's $7. They are inconsistent and when I ask about prices they argue! Definitely never going back! read more

This place has some great deals and friendly staff. The horchata is the best I have ever had, it has a real nice creamy texture and a flavor I can't quite put my finger on. The burritos are the size of your face for about 7 bucks. The guac definetely leaves something to be desired though. We have been here multiple times. Enjoyed the burritos. Tonight we got the nachos. Awful. No cheese. Canned refried beans. Barley any chicken. Sour cream, processed guacamole and olives. I think I could of done better at taco bell and I won't eat at taco bell. read more

I have been frequenting El Super Taco for about a year now, it's my once every week or two weeknight indulgence. I always get a Chile relleno wet burrito and it is always perfect. Massive, fresh, stuffed to the brim, soooo good. They have fresh pickled veggies and Chiles fritos available for all orders which is honestly the icing on top for me (I love spicy!). Their Horchata is my fave, such a yummy treat! The owner/manager is so kind and thoughtful. He remembered me after only going in once or twice, he works just as hard as all other crew members, and he always makes a point to chat and say hi! I was so sad when they had to close because of Covid, but now they have reopened for takeout!! One of my top 5 fave spots in Eugene:)! read more

I was really craving a burrito from them then when I went to pick it up it was $16????!!!

My husband and I came here a few weeks ago and had burritos that were mediocre at best, so we thought we would give them another try. We each had a few Carne asada tacos and he also had a Carne asada torta. The street tacos were smothered in tomatoes, which I wasn't expecting, so I had to pick through all of my tacos before I could even start, and it continued to go down hill from there. They had absolutely no flavor to them and the Carne asada was so chewy we had to spit most of it out. I'm very disappointed as I was hoping the second time would change our mind. I gave it two stars because my husband really enjoyed his $10.00 Michelada. Save yourself 50 cents a taco and go to Lupitas. They're only $2.00 a taco and are in a completely different league. read more

They make very good burritos. They are huge and under $6. Everything seems fresh and hot. Cooked when you order. The line can be super long sometimes because they only have one person bussing the tables and working the register. I never leave this place hungry. I always feel satisfied and will definitely go back. My favorites here are the alpastor burrito, lengua tacos, carnitas super nachos supreme, chicken sopes and cheese steak burrito. OMG yes they have a cheese steak burrito lol. I am not a fan of their torta or veggie burrito. They really need to fix their torta. It's dry and bland. Very friendly staff. They never stiff you on hot sauce and I find the quality of every item to be superior to Burrito Boy / Amigos. They also beat them hands down on their prices. I really recommend their chicken quesadillas. We are totally addicted to them. They are only $4.50 and so huge that with some chips one order is plenty of food for two people. read more

Just when I thought being a regular customer was awesome, I was thrown back. They hired a hunch of new staff that are extremely rude...especially if you don't already speak Spanish. They must have been unaware that I speak Spanish as well and the things they were laughing at and gossiping about were about customers present in the restaurant. I just want my old Super Taco back, friendly people along with great food. They always have had amazing carne asada items so I love the food here but for customer service, bring back the other guys! I don't want to come to a Spanish restaurant and feel uncomfortable because of the awkward/rude comments spoken in Spanish by the waitress/waiter. Sometimes it's helpful to think of Eugene as broken into various culinary zones. For those of you who have traveled too far down West 11th with a partner in the car nearing hunger cum homicidal rage, think of Super Taco as an alternative to hitting the value-meal panic button. The dinner plates, at $7.50, are very generous. I particularly enjoy the Chimichanga plate with steak. Splitting the Chimi between two persons allows you to explore the taco selection at $1.50/taco. Giant soft drinks for $2. The best kept secret is probably the Torta Cubana at $4.50. read more

As a burrito fanatic, I promise you this location is a waste of time. The "steak" burrito is nothing more than a pathetic, false advertised shredded beef packed tortilla. With a few grains of rice, and 50/50 beans to shredded beef, it is not only boring after the first 2 bites, but also lacking in flavor completely. No salsa. No guacamole. No rice. About the only criticism I have of this place is that it's so popular, you can't count on getting in and out for lunch on a weekday. I usually go on weekends for just that reason. Absolutely love the chili verde burrito with pork, and the green salsa is positively addictive on whatever you order. DLW mixes things up more, sometimes getting a breakfast burrito, sometimes tacos, sometimes nachos. She's never disappointed. It's nothing fancy, order at the counter and serve yourself drinks from the fountain, but the prices are right, and the serving sizes are just right. read more

Used to be great. The food is still good but the register people are the worst that I've ever seen. I've eaten here for years and I've never had so many terrible mistakes in a row, meal after meal. This place *looks* like every other taqueria ever and the menu is similar. However, the food is quite good. I had a torta on hot, fresh bread which was wonderful. The weekend morning menudo is great. My only criticism is that they don't have Jamaica drink available. I don't like soda and am not a fan of the other Mexican drinks. read more

Good, classic Mexican food. Fresh and authentic.

I've only been twice so far, but I'm a fan. Huge burritos, lightly grilled in a warm tortilla. First time I got the carne asada without beans because the man behind the counter misunderstood when I said "with everything," and he repeated back to me, "no beans?" OK, whatever. I got it with beans the second time around and it was delicious either way. The red and green salsas are tasty, but I like the green better because the red is hot enough to scorch my ears. I haven't tried the horchata yet, but it looks very good, and my husband's al pastor burrito was spot-on. I want to try some other items, like the nachos, tortas and tacos, but the burrito is such a bargain it will be hard to steer toward other things. Try the pickled carrots. They are spicy as all get-out! Seriously, if you like real Mexican food, you can't go wrong here. read more

I ordered the fish tacos, and was underwhelmed. The fish was breaded, and the breading was overcooked with burnt spots, so all I tasted was that. The fish had no flavor, and the entire taco was bone dry, even with the pico (pico was good, though could have used a little flavor kick from cilantro). The reviews here are across the board pretty good, so I will be going back and trying another menu item, in hopes to revise this rating for a better one. read more
