Always happy to support small family run businesses. This is located in an unassuming strip mall across from Bishop Eustace High School. Food was plentiful and well priced. Can't beat nacho appetizer for less than $10. So much more authentic and flavorful than the big box Mexican restaurants. Staff is super friendly. Will be happy to return.

Most authentic Mexican food in Cherry Hill by far. I've been to several places in the area and most of the time I am disappointed by high prices and dry, bland meat. This place is the exception. Carnitas and barbacoa are juicy, tender, and have deep flavor. I wish I could have gotten the cabeza, but they were out of stock today. I'll definitely have to come back to try it.

Beef and chorizo tacos with rice and beans

I had my usual taco craving and decided to look for a place that was close by. I searched and found La Nova. I'm not sure how I ever missed this place before since I used to frequent the area a lot when I lived in CH. Anyway, I found La Nova and planned my visit there. Parking was plentiful, so I found a spot close to the restaurant. Upon entering, I was greeted by a warm, friendly young lady who handed me a menu. I quickly reviewed the menu and decided what I wanted to try. For my appetizer I tried the nachos that came with queso fresco and refried beans. For my entree I went with the steak and chorizo tacos, rice and beans. The nachos arrived quickly. They were delicious. The refried beans and queso were perfectly paired and the hot sauce provided by the restaurant was soooo good. It gave me the right amount of heat and flavor together. A few mins later, my tacos, rice and beans arrived. My tacos were completely packed with meat, just the way I like 'em. The chorizo really elevated the flavor of the beef. The refried beans actually accentuated the flavor of the rice once I mixed them together. The sides were good, but the highlights of my experience were the chorizo and nachos. I think La Nova has a solid foundation and is a staple for those seeking to have a traditional Mexican meal in Pennsauken. I would revisit the restaurant again if I were in the area.

We stopped here on a Friday evening in July for tacos after reading some of the reviews. The reviews were spot on. We each had orders of 3 tacos. My husband had the Bistec y Chorizo (Steak & Sausage) and I had the Birria (brisket). Both were made to order and delicious. I also had a Horchata and my husband a Mango Fresh water drink. We also had an order of chips and freshly made pico de gallo. Everything was delicious, the service was prompt and courteous. In terms of ambiance, it is a taqueria, so it is very casual, but they do provide table service and serve on china plates with silverware. We would definitely come back if we were in the area. These are tacos of the flavor and quality we have had in California where we used to live.

Amazing!!! The best Mexican food we've had in years. It may not look like much from the outside, but often the best food comes from a small local place like this. Don't miss out on the salsa. And be warned that the sauces have some spicy. But yummy all around! We'll be back.

I vascilated between 3 and 4 stars, so I'll instead provide a breakdown: Menu: 5 stars. The menus are easy to read, detailed, and organized. The menus aren't your standard laminated menus. They have a thick, very pretty, sturdy cover. They provide the prices for different meat options. I appreciate that many menu items can be or are gluten free. Ambience: 5 stars. I am a total sucker for supporting small, privately owned businesses! Bonus points for being immigrant/POC/Black-owned business! The restaurant was small but still with a good amount of wiggle room for dining in. Everything was clean and somewhat modern for what was described to me as "a hole in the wall" (in a good way), as I was expecting it to be a little dated and dingy. It wasn't. It was bright, cool, and airy. Service: 3-stars. service was mid. Our server didn't seem overly-excited to be there. He communicated well, but with very little friendliness or enthusiasm. I'd say, at best, his demeanor was neutral, and I can live with that, considering I've encountered a lot of times where people in the service industry act like they don't appreciate your business and are doing you a favor just by taking your order, smh. Food: 3.5 stars. Presentation was beautiful! Very well-done! Unfortunately, I found my tres moles enchiladas lacking that "pow" in taste that I love about mole. I also love my enchiladas drowned in mole sauce, especially eating with chicken breast, which can be a very mild/bland and dry meat. The chicken itself wasn't necessarily dry, but because it was chicken breast, and the feel of the dish was on the dry side. That being said, my fellow diners LOVED their dishes and said they'd come back again! Unfortunately, they don't provide reviews on Yelp, so I invite you to take my review as a grain of salt and try this restaurant out for yourself.

It's tiny, with only enough space for about ten tables, so the atmosphere is super cozy. My son and I came here last night during Haddonfield's Friday night candlelight holiday shopping when all of Kings Highway was lit up and filled with carolers and shoppers. My son got the burrito de pescado ($15) and I got the enchiladas de carnitas ($20). Both were excellent and incredibly filling. They don't accept reservations so you'll have to show up and try your luck, and possibly put your name on a waitlist and wait for a call. Also, they will knock 10% off your bill if you pay in cash.

But, their menu should indicate that it is an option. More importantly, the tables don't have hot sauce, but that was fine I suppose since the tacos already had a bit of a kick to them. They were very rich in flavor and the staff are very welcoming and I love the fact that it's easy to walk here from the PATCO Subway Station. But, the establishment is not wheelchair accessible, which is a big red flag in my book, because even though I am not a wheelchair user, I have witnessed firsthand the struggles of those who are. It is the very reason why I hate SEPTA, because 60% of their stations do not meet ADA requirements. All in all, I strongly recommend this place if you like tacos.

I had absolutely no idea there was a Tacoria this close to one of my family home locations until I…read morespotted it on the map. My very first Tacoria experience was at the Edgewater, NJ location. Needless to say, I was hooked. I've tried so much on their menu across multiple locations, met some of the most genuinely kind staff, and I just keep coming back. When I say my man & I have Tacoria often, I mean it - the quality never disappoints no matter which location we go to. PARKING The parking lot is on the smaller side, but I pulled in around 4:30 PM on a Friday and had zero trouble finding a spot. ATMOSPHERE This location is absolutely gorgeous. You can really feel small bits and pieces of Philadelphia woven into the space; I genuinely loved seeing that reflected here. Tacoria always brings an amazing atmosphere no matter where you go, and this location is no exception. There is also outdoor seating available when the weather allows it. I could have easily eaten in and felt a little bittersweet about not doing so. That said, the inside is beautiful. MENU & FOOD Since my man is usually the one ordering for us, I had to take a moment to recall our go to order. The big menu board is a lot to take in at once, so I appreciated that Justin, the guy working the counter, handed me one of the smaller menus to look through. That made it so much easier to find what I usually get. I ordered the burrito box with Brussels sprouts and carne asada (double the protein), the Nutella nachos (which are my absolute favorite, they're a must), and an agua fresca. I swear if Tacoria started selling Agua Fresca by the gallon I would buy it! Fair warning: I am never fully able to finish a whole burrito box in one sitting. I can usually get through about three quarters of it, but honestly that is not a complaint at all because Tacoria tastes just as delicious the next day warmed up. For the agua fresca, I went with my usual horchata, but there are three options available: horchata, limonada, and guava and basil. My boyfriend's go-to is the limonada that he mixes with the guava. They also have regular refreshments available, but if you're new here, please try an agua fresca, you will not regret it. For sauces, they have to go containers to fill up at your disgression, I loaded up on salsa verde, habanero, smoky roja, and Valentina. I just love building out my burrito box with literally all of them. For a Polish girl, I LOVE SPICY FOOD. LOCATION I originally knew the other south jersey location, but that one has always been a bit too far out for me. According to Justin, this location opened up in August 2025. Therefore, knowing that this one is so close now is genuinely dangerous for my wallet; I can already see myself ordering here way too often, and I am completely fine with that. Tacoria started in New Brunswick and has been growing and expanding ever since, and I'm thrilled to see it making its way into this area. More people deserve to have access to this food. ALL IN ALL, I have to give a huge shoutout to Justin, because he genuinely made this first-time experience at this location so special. We were talking back and forth while I looked through the menu, and he was warm, helpful, and just the kind of person you're happy to interact with. At the end of it all, he comped my agua fresca because it was my first visit to this location, and honestly, that kind of generosity and hospitality says everything about the culture of this place. I went back in after I had already walked out just to get his name so I could mention him here, because that level of customer service deserves to be recognized. Tacoria is always going to be my go-to for a feel-good, delicious, well-made meal when I want to treat myself. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is always amazing, and the people make every single visit worthwhile. If you have never been, I cannot recommend it enough. Just go.
