For brunch at Paloma Restaurante I got the Huevos Rancheros and a started of Yucas Fritas. The two sunny side up eggs paired delightfully with the ranchera sauce and pico de gallo. A very filling meal, I did wish to have a couple more pieces of avocado to more evenly spread across each bite. The yuca frites were nice and thick, and tasted great with the chipotle aioli. I really enjoyed the large open windows framing the restaurant. On a nice day the extra sun was delightful. We were seated very quickly and served with attention, great spot for some friends.

Went for brunch. The space was great. Food highlights were the shrimp ceviche, crispy cauliflower and churro French toast. Tacos were good but not the best we've had. Larger plates are good for sharing. Would definitely recommend ordering a lot of appetizers to share. Byob! Went with a group and did not feel rushed at all. Service was good.

Super cute spot! My friends and I met here for dinner when we were all in town and had a great meal. We loved the assortment of $5 nonalcoholic margaritas and how nicely they were presented (we each tried a different flavor). The guac was delicious and a very large serving! I had the chicken verde enchiladas (came with 3) & they were good, and the plantains were amazing as were the empanadas my friend ordered. Service was good as well!

Had fantastic brunch here. Berry compote waffle, Avocado Toast, Sweet Plantains and an Omelette. The atmosphere was also very nice and not super crowded like other places in this area. Service was great and prompt. Will definitely be back.

Interesting menu - definitely one-of-a-kind things. Portions were a little on smaller side, but still filling. Got there 45 minutes from closing. Was not rushed. Place was very clean. My husband is still talking about his dinner (the fish special).

Was torn between a 3 and 4 star review...Maybe went in with too high of expectations. The restaurant itself is very nice, bright and inviting and large. I would recommend reservations. The service was great, there are plenty of servers and helpers to make sure you're happy. The food had some highs and lows. The chicken eggroll was very good. Flavorful and crunchy with great spice. The tuna and guacamole was another star. Very good, fresh and delicious. The fried cauliflower was good except for the occasional piece that was overly salted. Steak fajitas were good. The enchiladas were fine, and the carnitas steak all good. Not mind blowing, but good. The paella was huge! We were told afterwards that it is usually for 2 or 3 people. The seafood in it was delicious, but the rice was kinda meh. It's BYOB and the margarita mix they have was very tasty. Mixed perfectly with patron.

Our first time to Paloma, we are from San Diego (just moved to Jersey 3 yrs ago) and are really particular about our Mexican food but this restaurant was spot on! Food was great! Our server Josh was amazing, he was knowledgeable and made our experience perfect! Can't wait to come back for more delicious food and we WILL request Josh! Super happy group of 4. Great hire, owners!

Absolutely fantastic! My husband and I go to Philly a lot for gourmet Mexican: Condessa, Cafe y chocolate and Nemi. This place is closer and well deserved of a gourmet rating. Huge pocket doors were opened for a nice view and felt like we ate outside. The waiter was fantastic. I wish I got his name. We started off with him making us a homemade lemonade with actually fresh strawberries! Great drink. Cesar salad was huge for the price. It includes shaved cheese, cherry tomatoes, avocado and tortilla strips. Romaine was very fresh and crunchy. Guacamole with fresh raw tuna was great and a big size. Fried cauliflower florets were the bomb. Great spicy sauce sprinkled on top. Corn on the cob was delicious. The steak with corn purée was killer good. Sliced sautéed peppers in that dish were amazing. Homemade Très Leche cake was soaked in sweet cream and was one of the highlights; a must get. Highly recommend this beautiful and tasty restaurant!!

I stuck with my usual two eggs, which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. My fiancée ordered the Pretty Toast, their take on French toast, topped with cream cheese, pecans, and sweetened peaches. It honestly reminded me of peach cobbler! When I saw her plate, my jaw dropped--I was instantly jealous! She let me steal a couple of bites, and it was absolutely delicious. It's one of those dishes you could enjoy for breakfast, brunch, or even as a sweet snack. The food was a solid 10/10. Our server, Ben, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. He took the time to tell us a little about the menu and even suggested we try something different. Looking back... I probably should have listened! The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and inviting. It honestly felt like sitting in your nonna's kitchen--warm, comfortable, and full of charm. We can't wait to come back and work our way through the dinner menu. If brunch was this good, we have a feeling dinner will be just as amazing!

Now look up. That's where I used to live for many years. So yes I was a regular at Groove Ground for awhile. When I wasn't in the actual shop, I was up in my apartment using their free wifi. Stopped back in today while walking around town doing some Christmas shopping, and the place hasn't changed. Still tiny with a few natty armchairs and couches, still the eclectic mix of music records and other merchandise (a lot of it by local artists), still staffed by friendly employees. One change is that they used to be open until 10 or 11. Like most coffee shops in this area, they now close early. They're open 8 - 6 every day. It's not exactly a destination store. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here for anything on the food or drinks menu, and for records and small handmade gifts, there are several other and better options in town. But I like that it's independent and supportive of the community, and it's still a nice place to stop in while in Collingswood doing other things.

I have stayed in countless B & Bs and have contacted Select Registry (the B & B directory that highlights luxury inns) four times to suggest myself to become one of their reviewers. They haven't responded, and maybe they shouldn't hire me because I'm brutally honest, picky, and have high standards when it comes to inns. Inns have to pay a hefty fee to be featured that book, so I'd probably piss off their paying inns. But I'd make a lot of them happy, too, because when something is good, I let the world know. But I digress. Let's get back to Haddonfield Inn. I'd like to give them 5 stars because they are a dog-friendly inn. And when I called to book the room, Nicole, the innkeeper's daugher, was such a sweetheart. I really, really wanted this to be a fantastic experience because it's close to NYC, they take dogs, and we could return time and time again. Yay for NJ! We were off to a GREAT start! Right? WRONG. We get here and I go to the restroom to relieve myself. I see that the maid has not yet cleaned the floor... there's hair and dirt on the floor. I know, I know. I'm picky, but for $259 a night, a clean bathroom would be a nice touch. I told the innkeeper (I was very nice and charming about it) and she came to clean it herself. It took her 2 seconds flat. She ran back out and called my name. "Angela, you owe us another $20 because you are only staying for one night. Can I have your credit card again?" Huh?? Now normally an extra 20 bucks would not throw me. But we were told when I booked the room that it was $259 and were sent the receipt in a follow-up confirmation. So I asked her about it and she just mumbled something about the fact that Nicole made a mistake and she was just going to have to charge me the extra $20. I told her that this is not what was told to us when we booked and I had the receipt to prove it. She turned to me and said, "Well, if you aren't happy about it, you can just leave." I stuck my 8-month pregnant belly out (just in case she missed it... doesn't she know that you aren't supposed to mess with a lady who is that pregnant?) and said, "I'm not unhappy, I'm shocked at the way you are treating your customer." She knew she was wrong and after mumbling some comments that I chose not to hear, she said she'd reimburse us the $20. And, to her credit, she wrote us an apology note later in the evening. I would have given this place 2 stars, but because Nicole was such a nice person to us and because they accept dogs, I give them a freebie star.

I was immediately impressed that we were greeted by the owner & innkeeper for the evening as soon as we parked. They gave us a quick tour of the house and showed us to our room. I really liked that Inn is kid friendly. We have a 2 year old daughter, and I've heard most B&B's do not allow small children. Since this was practically the only lodging available in Haddonfield, we were very thankful that we were able to bring the 2 year old on the trip with us. Drinks, snacks, and wine were available at any hour of the day. We really liked our room, but it got pretty chilly on our first night. We could not figure out how to turn on the fireplace in our room. We found out the next morning that the gas was off in the entire house, which was why we couldn't turn the fireplace on. However, they quickly remedied the situation and our room returned to a comfortable temperature in no time. I would return based on the location and the super friendliness of the staff. We really enjoyed our stay.
