I'm a big fan of what the guys at the Cupbop/Kotako trucks are doing... I was lucky enough to spot Kotako in the parking lot outside of my work today and quickly grabbed a couple coworkers to rush out there before they were entirely sold out. Sadly, the signature Kotakos were indeed sold out by the time we arrived, but I got to enjoy a juicy pork Kosadilla (aka Korean Quesodilla). It didn't come with the rumored plastic glove for consumption, but the flavors were still out of this world. The pork, melted cheese, plus some picked goodness to give texture. Highly recommended.

seeing that this is from the same owners of cupbop, i'm not surprised that their customer service is amazing! everyone is so friendly and they truly want you to enjoy your food. i came here a few days ago and they even gave me candy for halloween which was nice! their food truck is so fun and bright - i love the design of it. we ordered a beef kosadilla and a mixed kotako plate. i normally don't eat chicken, but they said the mixed plate was their most popular ordered item and that they recommended it since you could try all the different sauces. our food took about 5 minutes and wow was it piping hot - very fresh! the beef kosadilla was a little bit sweet, so it'd be perfect it they reduced the amount of sugar or whatever it was that made it sweet. very comforting food as it was cheesy, warm, and gooey. the beef was really good and it was our favorite item. i liked the beef taco, but thought the other two was just okay (chicken and pork). i also wasn't a fan of the side tortilla chips with nacho cheese. i'd have prefer to see real cheese on it melted instead. overall a good meal and it was definitely a large portion. we ended up both taking some of our food to go since we couldn't finish it all. we can't wait to come back!

Isn't the service half the charm of food trucks? It couldn't be better here!

Maybe Cupbop has put some rose-colored glasses on me, but this was pretty much everything I ever expected and more. I have been intrigued by the Korean-Mexican fusion since I had first seen it in Las Vegas. I had the pork korrito (don't call it a burrito) while my wife had 2 chicken tacos. The korrito was really a great burst of flavors with a nice kick of cilantro - which is one of my favorites. It had a far amount of spice but nothing that overpowering. Overall it was a great mix of flavors and I look forward to working my way through the menu. They have pork, chicken, beef and fried chicken options for their korrito, quesadilla, and taco options. The prices are fair and the energy from the truck makes the wait worth it. Thank you for bringing great options to SLC!

I went to Petersen farms for the food truck rally tonight. Kotako was there and it was the Grand Opening night. I had a steak burrito and my wife had a pork quesadilla. It was amazing. The guy taking orders is great and very funny. If you want the best food truck food ever go to Kotako.

Couldn't wait to try it! S.l

Came here to try some food truck and I've heard about this place. I was hoping it would be more like the korean fusion food truck I had in Korea town in l.a. I guess I had too much of a high expectation. Don't get me wrong, the food was good but my chicken korrito was all filled with rice only. There was about 10% of meat in there only and a few black beans - literally. The ratio of meat to rice was really disappointing. Mild was actually too sweet for me. I wouldn't want to try it again. It was more like a carb-burrito...full of rice.

Horrible experience. Waited in line for 40 min- and got a cold burrito. No water or knifes was available. Would not eat here again :(

I got the burrito and it was just okay. It got soggy while eating it and the sauce was way too sweet.

You definitely need to come early if you want to get the oxtails because they sell out real quick. I got the fried catfish with Mac n cheese and dirty rice. The catfish was fried very well and the fish was very flaky and not fishy at all. The dirty rice and Mac n cheese were also good. They seem to have run out of things as time goes on so it's more of what they have left if you come later. The staff was very nice and the food can take some time to wait.

I ordered the fried catfish plate with collard greens and cornbread. The catfish was perfectly golden and crispy on the outside while staying juicy and flaky inside -- seasoned beautifully without being greasy. The collard greens were tender and flavorful without being overly salty, really seasoned perfectly and the cornbread had a great texture -- moist and warm but not overly sweet. And then some bonus surprise hush puppies that were so so good! Crunchy on the outside, soft and savory inside -- it really rounded out the meal and left me smiling. Prices are fair for the quality and portion size (my plate was $21), and the service vibe was friendly and welcoming. Their menu's stacked with everything from Big South Wings to ribs and jambalaya, and I'm already thinking about what to try next. I was so excited the CML truck was making a stop in our town…read more.. The event was advertised across social media. In a town like Bozeman where seafood options are limited, the hype was real. The truck was supposed to show up at 12:00 pm. By 11:30 am, there was a like wrapped around the brewery the truck was expected to be. Here's the catch...it was almost 40 minutes late. And the guy driving the truck must've been having a bad day because he wasn't very kind either. The rest of the staff were great and super patient with an obviously frustrated crowd. People had been standing in line for a while and started leaving after 12:15pm rolled around. Many of them simply had more important places to be. Thankfully, I decided to order through the mobile app before we showed up. Though, there was still a long wait. After the truck arrived much later than anticipated, they only filled mobile orders for about another 20-30 minutes. As you can imagine, those standing in line since 11:15 am were very upset. Even after the truck arrived late, they waited even longer to get their orders taken. In the midst of all the chaos, we somehow managed to get our food (at 1:40pm). As far as the food goes, here's my honest review: * Lobster Tots: Not great. I used to live in Vegas and would order these all the time. On this occasion, however, it was lackluster. I had maybe 3 claw meat pieces of lobster and that was it. * Maine Lobster Roll: The best thing of the day. I will never wait in a line like this again but it was good. I feel like the roll itself was smaller than it used to be but that seems to be the case with everything these days. * Clam Chowder: It had a good flavor and didn't skimp on the clams. * Red Velvet Whoopie Pie: if you ask my husband, this was the best thing on the menu. It was such a crazy experience and I can't say it was worth our time. If the truck was on time, it maybe would've been.

Chile verde isn't terrible, but some cheese sauce is lightly put on, real cheese light sprinkle, definitely nothing to leave the house for. Maybe a new truck just starting up, but there's a LOT to work on here. And at $8.50 plus $2.00 tip, no chance I'm ordering from here again. So I make HORRIBLE Nachos at home late at night, and mine are GOLD compared to this Mexican Good Truck... how sad is that? Late night American cheese "nachos" are better than a FOOD truck? YEP. Absolutely they are. And sprinkle some season-All on those nachos, because they crush this trucks wet munch! Apparently they also serve burgers, but if they can't even make Nachos halfway decent, I'm not betting that the burger is anything to rave about. Luckily the beer inside (Fisher Beer) is on the assist! So as I'm writing this, we barely ate halfway into it. Too bad :/ There was no cheese below the initial top layer of corn chips... nada. Had they even just given us 7-11 nachos that would've been WORLDS better than this. Gross.
