I was lucky enough to spot Kotako in the parking lot outside of my work today and quickly grabbed a couple coworkers to rush out there before they were entirely sold out. Sadly, the signature Kotakos were indeed sold out by the time we arrived, but I got to enjoy a juicy pork Kosadilla (aka Korean Quesodilla). seeing that this is from the same owners of cupbop, i'm not surprised that their customer service is amazing! everyone is so friendly and they truly want you to enjoy your food. i came here a few days ago and they even gave me candy for halloween which was nice! their food truck is so fun and bright - i love the design of it. we ordered a beef kosadilla and a mixed kotako plate. i normally don't eat chicken, but they said the mixed plate was their most popular ordered item and that they recommended it since you could try all the different sauces. our food took about 5 minutes and wow was it piping hot - very fresh! the beef kosadilla was a little bit sweet, so it'd be perfect it they reduced the amount of sugar or whatever it was that made it sweet. very comforting food as it was cheesy, warm, and gooey. the beef was really good and it was our favorite item. i liked the beef taco, but thought the other two was just okay (chicken and pork). i also wasn't a fan of the side tortilla chips with nacho cheese. i'd have prefer to see real cheese on it melted instead. overall a good meal and it was definitely a large portion. we ended up both taking some of our food to go since we couldn't finish it all. we can't wait to come back! read more

This place is pretty good, but way over priced. The quesadilla was messy and fell out everywhere but was covered in very delicious sauce. (Like lick the fingers of the plastic glove they give you good). The burrito was dry and not mixed well with very little meat and no tastes I would consider Korean. $9 each and neither single dish was enough to for a full lunch for either of us. Freshly prepared, well seasoned, and very yummy the Kosadilla definitely hit the spot! Had the chance to try out this food truck at the Daybreak food truck event last night! We tried the Korean tacos and got the mixed plate. It's 3 different tacos of your choice so we did 1 of each of the meat choices and it comes with a little nacho chips side. It's good...it's REALLY good. The sauces are so fantastic, the meat was good...one of them was chewier than the rest but I don't know which one it was! The nachos were just OK...tortilla chips with some sort of cheese sauce and some of their signature yummy sauces on it. Really it was a great dish..the only problem I have is with the price! 3 tacos for $9 is crazy! 3 bucks a taco...and they are street tacos. That pricing is way too steep! My daughter ordered the pork kosadilla and I had the 3 taco combo. The kosadilla was juicy, they give you a glove to eat it with! I had the 3 meat taco combo. I went to the Gallivan Center Food Truck Thursday a few weeks ago and got the Chicken Kotako. I was kind of surprised that it was $9 given that you only get three small tacos. But omg, they are sooooo good! I'm serious. My first bite and I had to set it down and revel in the blissful experience of the buttery taco shell and the awesome chicken. I still think it's kind of pricey since usually when I spend that kind of money I can at least count on leftovers. Yet, I'd definitely do this as a once-a-month splurge because I dream about these tacos. And Spencer is amazing, so full of life and energy and good vibes. It was a fun experience with great food.
