Quick takeout only spot serving yummy tamales. I prefer the no meat & always get the salty corn fritters! Quick, cheap, hot & yummy!

Delicious just like my grandma would make out of her apartment back in the 70's in Jersey.

The vibe of the space feels like they brought in the murals of wynwood to their interior design. The music selection was rap hit after rap hit, loved. We sat at the bar. Our server was Marcus. He was so helpful and attentive. Gave us his menu recommendations, which we followed suit. We ordered the duck dumplings and the sweet potato croquettes from the HH menu. From the regular menu, we ordered the bbq toro and the oxtail udon. The duck dumplings had a rich au jus, great. Our favorite app was the sweet potato croquette. Slightly sweet, a satisfying crunch, but soft in the center with tender brisket. The white bbq sauce and parm gave it a nice smoky nuttiness. Ordered another round, they were so good! The bbq toro had an amazing smokey flavor and a nice citrusy butter as the sauce. The cut was perfect. The oxtail udon was really hearty, and by far the best dish we had (though all the dishes were seriously incredible). It comes with a cured egg yolk, which they mix for you tableside. There was a good amount of oxtail in the dish and the udon sauce - bottle it for me please and thank youuu.

Thank you to our server. Beautiful people all around, will visit again!

Kuba Cabana had a "car bar" outside their place, not sure it it's associated with the restaurant or not, but the mojitos got us in the mood for Latin food. So, we walked in and luckily got a table right away. They place feels like a club, and pretty sure it turns to one later in the night. While we were there a DJ was playing and people were already dancing. The inside with its neon signs and décor is very Instagram/photo ready. We had croquetas, fried yuca, tamales, salad... they have it all. And all was delicious. The appetizers are perfect size for sharing. If we didn't have the show to attend, we would have stay longer there for sure. Great vibe and excellent service.

Some were thirst and some were hungry, so I suggested we try this place. We didn't have a reservation but it was early evening. We were able to get a table for 5 quick. It's a nice place, felt classy. Luckily we came in looking classy. Our server was a nice guy. He took our orders, including my Mai Tai which was off menu. We also ordered different bites for the table. I got a tamale and also the croquetas. Both were very good, and the Mai Tai was perfect. It's got a touristy energy, a little overly Cuban. But honestly its probably not noticeable unless your from South Florida. The waiter was able to take orders and conversate in Spanish and English which was good for our table. It's a nice spot for bites and drinks. We are sure to hit here again soon.

A Wonderful Dinner with My Daughter…read more Went with my daughter to Yarumba Restaurant & Lounge, and we had the BEST time! From the delicious food to the great service, everything was wonderful. The atmosphere was perfect for a night out together. We started with the Mango and Guava Margaritas--absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, the service has been a huge disappointment the last two times I've visited. As you can see from my photo, the restaurant wasn't busy at all, so there really wasn't a reason for the delays. We sat at our table waiting for someone to take our order while our waitress continued helping other tables and never came to ours. It wasn't until I asked for our server that she finally came over to take our order. After that, we waited nearly 40 minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived, most of it was only semi-warm. The only dish that came out fresh and hot was the steak tostones, which were delicious. Everything else, including the other entrées and sides, was lukewarm and honestly disappointing. What makes this even more frustrating is that this wasn't my first experience like this. I had previously visited with a friend and received the same poor service and semi-cold food. I decided to give Yarumba another chance by coming back with my daughter, hoping the first visit had just been an off day. Sadly, nothing had changed. It seems like the staff spends more time talking amongst themselves than checking on customers or making sure food is coming out promptly. Good food and a fun atmosphere can only make up for so much when the service consistently falls short. At this point, I don't see myself coming back for dinner. If I do return, it would only be to sit at the bar for drinks. I truly hope management addresses these issues because the restaurant has a lot of potential.
