I was told about 20 to 30 minute wait. So I went to the patio area and rode the mechanical moo moo twice. After the ride, came back inside. It was loud due to the music, but the dancers entertained us. It took a bit longer than expected, but I was seated about 45 minutes later. I took the house margarita for 10 bucks, and it was served in a plastic cup. I was just expecting a standard, but decent quality margarita since it was cheap. I was way off! After the first sip, I can immediately tell I was going to have a huge fiesta. They must have put a lot of tequila, cause I was feeling tipsy already. After drinking half of it, I was dancing to the music. The full drink left me in party mode throughout the whole time as the restaurant. For my entree, I took the chicken enchiladas got 17 dollars. I choose double rice and cream sauce. There were two nicely sized enchiladas, and the chicken was shredded nicely. It was tender and the enchiladas was pretty soft. The sauce was mild, but still flavorful to enjoy. The rice was filling. I saved one enchilada for home cause I wanted dessert too. So I took the tres leches (9 dollars), which was sweet and moist. It was just the right slice portion for me. It was just an excellent dinner for Cinco de Mayo. Service was pretty busy and got a bit chaotic at times, but they still did a very good job. While it did get slow sometimes, the entertainment fully made up for it. A lot of people were dancing and chanting to the Mexican hat dance and tequila songs. Quite a few, especially the kids, were having fun on the bull. And the professional dancers did a great job interacting with the guests. It was wild, fun, and enjoyable. I must say that while Azteca Del Oro has smaller portions at higher prices than a few years ago, it is still serving filling food at maybe higher quality than before. Maybe it was the alcohol making me happy, or the bull rides that got me disoriented. And I made the mistake of telling the operator that I ride live bulls too, because he did go hard mode on me the last ride, causing me to land awkwardly and hurt my arm. For my entree, I went with the molcajete, a large serving of steak, chicken, shrimp and chorizo with peppers and onions and a chunk of queso fresco on top, served in a scalding hot stone mortar with rice and beans on the side. I ordered 3 tacos (carnitas, barbacoa, and al pastor) and a chicken tortilla soup to go. I was only inside for a moment, but the inside looked clean, and the person who helped me was very nice. They were out of carnitas, so he told me they gave me 2 barbacoa instead. The chicken soup was VERY good! The tortillas must be homemade. And the portion was huge! (I can't wait to finish it for lunch tomorrow.) The barbacoa tacos were a little bit dry, but still tasty. Tres Amigos salsa has a variety few different flavors that go well with their tacos available at their restaurant. The flavors for the salsas are, Original, Hot, Smoky, Verde, and their Kicked up Queso. What's interesting about their Queso is that they add their original salsa to their queso to apply that flavor to the cheese! These flavors were great, and the Kicked up Queso stood out majorly! For the dinner, there are four taco options; steak, chicken, shrimp, and veggies. You have the option to have your tacos on a corn or flour tortilla, and is paired with black beans and rice. You are also able to order these tacos individually, or in a family pack of four. I ordered a steak taco, and they cooked the proteins on the grill and gives the protein a nice char! They also grill the tortillas to give them some color as well! The tacos are a Tex-mex style, and you're given guacamole that has a tiny kick of spice, and some greens to top. This is good stop for a late lunch, and since it's a small place, it's best for takeout only. The owner did inform my group that they plan on expanding the restaurant and menu, to more options, which will also lead to a change of hours. This is a good stop a quick lunch and tacos.

There was a 35 minute wait for a seat and 25 minute wait for to-go. The service was fast and efficient. The crowd was families and groups. We order the four taco combo - pollo, carne, asada and pastor and a pollo tortas. All of the tacos were delicious but the carne had to be my favorite. I love the thick homemade tortilla that really held the taco together. It was packed to-go with onion, cilantro and a whole lime (which I appreciated) as well as sauces. The tortas tasted so fresh and light. The meal was refreshing, not the kind where you have regrets later. Well priced & great quality!
